CSS preprocessors

Bachelor thesis deals with the creation of Cascading Style Sheets (way elements are displayed on the website) with three selected preprocessors (SASS, LESS, Stylus), and compare them with each other. It is also carried out a comparison of writing without CSS preprocessor.
The theoretical part deals with the analysis of expert sources concerning CSS preprocessor. Then, in this section is describe the advantages over the listing without preprocessor technology. Furthermore dismantled application software, in which it may compile CSS preprocessors.
In the practical part is created and described several practical examples to verify the effectiveness of CSS preprocessors.

User interface of mobile application

Bachelor thesis is focused on issues regarding to mobile devices, specifically user interfaces of mobile devices. These devices are spread in such measure, that most people are using these devices to accomplish task from everyday life. Ease of use and overall experience depends strictly on user interface.
Goal of theoretical part is to study universal conventions and methods used to create intuitive and good looking user experience, with focus on individual platform and use case. It also breaks down psychical side of development, which is hidden behind user interface. That means how the user think and behave within your application.
In practical part, the theoretical knowledge is applied to real live scenarios and models. It contains analysis and real life problem solving, that are regarded to user interfaces and are specific for mobile platform.
The result is clear and useful overview, that sums up how to effectively create quality and nice looking interfaces that are not just a pleasure to use, but also manage to deliver esthetical side, which results in fact, how likely the user will return to the applications.

Procedures of responsive design creating

This Master's thesis focuses on the issue of responsive design creation and comparison of the particular patterns aiming to customizable website. The theoretical part discusses the majority of available possibilities for achieving a responsive design and their general purpose. The practical part covers the use of the particular patterns on the specific web presentation. The thesis includes three similar websites using the responsive design particular patterns without frontend frameworks and, subsequently, their utilization. Their testing served as a means for recommendation for the practice. Another part of the thesis is the summarization of cascading style sheets development with the focus on the responsive design and comparison of two frontend frameworks selected by the author.

Development of mobile application for Android platform

The bachelor thesis describes the process of mobile application development for operating system Android with exclusive using of standard components, which this platform includes. The theoretical part of thesis describes the platform itself, historical evolution of its versions, its architecture, tools required for the application development, general structure of the application project and fundamental, commonly used programmatical and graphical components. Practical part of thesis then documents the development of functional application prototype, based on knowledge of theoretical part. Practical part also includes recommendations, how to achieve responsive graphical user interface. Complete application source code is attached to the thesis.

The theoretical part focuses on distribution optimization factors in on-page and off-page factors and describes the importance of each factor in detail. In the practical part is an analysis of the e-commerce Jednadvacitka.cz, which sells sports equipment.

Electronic medical report and e-health

This bachelor thesis is devoted to the topic of electronic health or eHealth. The main goal of the thesis is to identify and provide an overview of eHealth, electronic health in the Czech Republic along with Czech and European eHealth projects. Based on the gained findings from the practical part, author will provide a system solution.
The theoretical part focuses on the definition of eHealth, based on the literature. This mainly includes eHealth in the Czech Republic, Data standards and development of the eHealth.
The practical part is focused on the comparison of eHealth and eHealth related tools. From provided interview with eHealth systems specialist, two system solutions created by the author of the thesis are proposed. Solutions are later analyzed by the SWOT analysis.
In the last part of the thesis final evaluation of the topic and results from the practical part is given.

Reducing the concentration of toxic metals in the Litavka stream - evaluation of the remediation effectivity

High concentration of toxic metal in soil and in water is threat for all areas that are affected in such a way. It negatively influence ecosystems of the areas and it is dangerous for health and lives of people.
A region of this characteristics is an area of former mining and smelting company in Březové Hory in Příbram. Contamination of soil, surface-water and underground water was caused by long-term mining of polymetallic ores that had been going since Medieval period. The smelting process also had significant influence. After the end of the mining and the related processes, it was necessary to deal with its negative impact to the region.
The goal of this paper is to evaluate the effectiveness of measures which was realized as part of a remediation and redevelopment of the area. The reparative measures was aimed to decrease ecological risk in river Litavka and its surroundings. Leaching of toxic metals from rock environment by infiltration of atmospheric precipitation is the main source of pollution. The remediation and recultivation consisted of removal of buildings which belonged to former factory for processing of ores, including remediation and recultivation of this grounds and pile with mining waste from mine called Vojtěch and his forefield. New earth with appropriate physical and chemical characteristics, serving as water isolant, was found after reshaping of the pile.
A postremediation monitoring was done to evaluate the quality of water in river Litavka and to prove accomplishment of targeted parameters and defined limits of the remediation. The monitoring included a collection of samples from surface-water and underground water, measurement of level of underground water and measurement of permeability of superficial layers of rock environment in defined monitoring points, so called control profiles.
Based on original observation of the region and my participation during measurements, including collection of water samples, I could compare obtained information, evaluate the results of postremediation monitoring and make evaluation of effectiveness of the remediation and suitability of usage of the area. The results of the performed measures show that corrective steps successfully lowered the concentration of toxic metals in river Litavka and also the infiltration of precipitation into the underground water. The usage of the area as park is appropriate and is consistent with zoning.

Areály plícních léčeben - specifické objekty krajinářské architektury

The diploma thesis aims on description and development of the pulmonary hospitals as a specific objects of landscape architecture. The subject has been divided into three basic areas. First area focuses on the specialised sanatoriums for tuberculosis treatment and their greenery as the main field of study from the landscape architecture point of view. As a part of this thesis we have created detailed graphical overview of the environmental and natural conditions as well as overview of the historical background for selected sanatoriums in the Czech republic. Second area aims to provide complex study of contemporary trends in health care facilities greenery identified in the specialised literature. As a part of this section we have compiled proposal for differentiation of the functional type "greenery of the health care facilities". Last area presents verification study for the expansion and cultivation of the OLU Paseka medical facility. The study is based on the upper-mentioned findings and emphasises on the application of contemporary medical care trends in the landscape engineering.

The project has been prepared complete documentation of new building to family business house the level of documentation for building construction. House is designed for a family of four. Plant is designed as a dry goods store. Built-up area is 152 square meters. Enclosure is designed as a saddle roof. The house is lined with ceramic bricks Porotherm. The proposal emphasizes the object static and layout, fire safety, energy saving and safety in use. Drawings were processed in software for design - ArchiCAD
