Masonry and reinforcement structural items review of family house
Šimráková, Petra ; Laníková, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with assessment of selected loadbearing elements of a twostorey detached house. The main aim of thesis is assessment of floor slap above fisrt floor, stairs and mansonry pillar. The finite element method is used to calculate the internal forces, to which the necessary reinforcement is subsequently dimensioned. SCIA Engineer 22.0 is used as a calculation program. Part of thesis is drawing of the shape and reinforcement of assessed load-bearing elements. The Allplan 2021 program is used to create the drawings. The static calculation is made according to valid ČSN and EN standards.
Static solution of a typical underground floor of a tall building in Prague
Maršálek, Filip ; Šimůnek, Petr (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the static design of the ceiling structure of a high-rise building. The basis for the bachelor was drawing documentation with basic plan dimensions and heights. The aim of the work is to design a locally and point-supported ceiling slab in the form of a section of one floor, specifically the ceiling above the second underground floor. According to the assigned study, a board model was created in the SCIA Engineer program for the analysis of internal forces, on the basis of which the design of the bending reinforcement of the board was carried out for the limit state of bearing capacity. The design of the shear reinforcement is based on the internal forces from the 2D model and was carried out using the Schöck Bole program with manual verification of selected parts. Furthermore, crack widths were manually calculated and verified via SCIA Engineer. The last calculation was a non-linear deflection calculation in SCIA Engineer. The conclusion of the work was the design of a variant with headers and a comparison of both types of boards. The work includes static calculation and drawing documentation.
Assisted race track procedural generation
Šimůnek, Petr ; Kahoun, Martin (advisor) ; Černý, Vojtěch (referee)
Racing games often take place on circuits with large surroundings. The goal of this thesis is to design and create a procedural generator for realistic road racing tracks surroundings. The track surroundings must feel populated and detailed during gameplay while also being performance-optimized for a smooth gaming experience. The generated environment needs to be consistent with the rules of road racing. Safety barriers need to be in places of high crash likelihood, and fans must be in relatively safe spectating spots. The generator will take the circuit shape, ideal racing line, and terrain as its inputs. Our method generates a 1 × 1 kilometer map in under a minute. Test players have rated our circuits as very realistic, detailed, and with more content than the previous hand-made ones. Our old circuits also took from dozens to hundreds of hours to create, considerably more than the new procedurally generated ones. 1
Design of the floor slab structure of a tall building
Vintrová, Tereza ; Šimůnek, Petr (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of the ceiling structure of a high-rise building. The basis for the work was a study of the building with basic floor plan dimensions and heights. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design a locally supported floor slab with a stiffening core in the middle, as a section of one floor, namely the ceiling above the tenth floor. According to the specified study, a slab model was created in SCIA Engineer to analyze the internal forces based on which the design of the flexural reinforcement of the slab to the ultimate limit state was carried out. The design of the shear reinforcement is based on the internal forces of the 3D model and was done using Schöck Bole with manual verification of the selected column. Non-linear calculation of the 3D model and manual verification of crack widths was used to assess the ultimate limit state. At the end of the work, the design of the circumferential rib variant and the comparison of the two types of slabs was carried out. The work includes a static calculation and drawings.
Spatial reinforced concrete frame of an industrial building
Matěják, Jan ; Laníková, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design of selected precast elements of a prefabricated hall. Single-nave storage hall is formed by transverse frames. The elements include main roof girder designed in two variants. The first variant is considered to be made of reinforced concrete. The second variant is designed from prestressed concrete. Other designed elements are a pair of columns carrying the girder and pocket foundations. The elements were designed according to the ČSN EN 1991-1-1. The output from this bachelor thesis are structural design reviews and drawings of selected parts (formwork and reinforcement).
Analysis of the structure of alkaloids using multidimensional NMR spectroscopy
Novák, Zdeněk ; Kuneš, Jiří (advisor) ; Šimůnek, Petr (referee) ; Šaman, David (referee)
This Thesis was focused on the structural analysis employing nuclear magnetic resonantion (NMR) of unknown natural substances, which were isolated at the Department of Pharmaceutical Botany and Ecology from the plants Berberis vulgaris L., Fumaria officinalis L. and Nerine bowdenii W. Watson. For this purpose, 1D (1 H NMR, 13 C NMR) and 2D (gCOSY, gHSQC, gHMBC, NOESY, …) NMR spectra were measured and interpreted. Isotopic induced effect was optimized for the determination of the constitutional isomers. To distinguish the possible stereoisomers Mosher method, chiral shift reagent, nuclear Overhauser effect, indirect spin-spin coupling and circular dichroism were used. The structures of forty- five alkaloids were determined including their absolute configuration. Ten of them have not been yet mentioned in the literature before.
Catholic Theological Faculties and Seminars in the Czech Republic from the Point of View of the Canon Law
Šimůnek, Petr ; Brož, Prokop (referee) ; Plavec, Karel (referee)
This thesis describes catholic theological faculties and seminaries in the Czech Republic from the point of view of the canon law. Canon-law rules are presented in the first part - especially from the Code of Canon Law and from the apostolic constitution Sapientia Christiana and the Norm of its application. In this part it is mentioned how these rules are applied at respective faculties i.e. at the Catholic Theological Faculty of Charles University in Prague, the St. Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology of Palacký University Olomouc and at the Faculty of Theology of University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The second part focuses on different faculties and completes information not stated in the first part and further focuses on the status of priest seminaries in Prague and in Olomouc and the Theological Convict. Some problems resulting from the legal status of the faculties and seminaries are treated in the closing part - especially the troubles connected with the discrepance between the Czech and the Canon legal order.

Badány, Kristián ; Laníková, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
The objective of the diploma thesis is a design and check of load-bearing concrete structure of multi-storey residential building. The building is located in Brno. The total ground plan’s dimensions are 39,32 x 22,58 metres, total height of the building in the highest point is 10,29 metres. The object is three-storey building with rectangular plan with partial basement designed as cast-in-place concrete frame and two above-ground floor designed as reinforced concrete walls and masonry walls. Load-bearing floor structures are designed as reinforced concrete slabs. Drawing documentation is included.
Analysis and design of a multi-storey reinforced concrete load-bearing structure
Fojtek, František ; Laníková, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the behavior of a multi-storey reinforced concrete load-bearing structure. The building is designed as a monolithic skeleton. The main load-bearing structure of the building consists of transverse frames, which are connected by beams, on which a continuous ceiling slab is placed. The rigidity of the building is ensured by a reinforced concrete core. The building is based on the base plate. The design analysis was performed by the finite element method in the SCIA 21.1 program. The structure is designed and assessed according to ČSN EN 1992-1-1.
