The bachelor thesis is focused on preparation of a company for entry on a stock exchange through an initial public offer of shares (IPO) as one option from the available options of financing the company. The thesis presents basic theoretical considerations relating to the financial market, the joint stock company and the IPO method. The analysis of Partners Financial Services in terms of the level of readiness for admission to the stock exchange, selection of a suitable market for IPO implementation and assessment of the macroeconomic situation of the macroeconomic situation are also presented in the analytical part.

Master‘s thesis is focused on the possibility of financing a company through entering the alternative market of the Prague Stock Exchange Ltd. The alternative market of the Prague Stock Exchange is the START Market, which is suitable for smaller and innovative czech companies. This is about an unregulated market, which means that the conditions of admission conditions and trading rules are set by the stock exchange. The thesis defines the basic starting points, which are connected with the capital market, the market organizer and the initial public offering of stocks (IPO).

Pension system: its past, present and future (un)sustainability

The social security and the pension system (as a part of the social security) has a more than hundred years tradition in the territory of the Czech Republic. The first obligatory social insurance laws were approved in 1888-1889. Important progressive and modern law regulating the public pension scheme was drafted in 1924 and also in 1948. However, between the 1950's and 1980's gradually deformations were implemented to the system. At the beginning of the 90's of the past century together with the decision on economic reform it has been decided also on the reform of the social system. As far as the field of pensions is concerned, reform measures were taken continuously since 1990. The most important change was the passage of the Act on Pension Insurance in mid-90's which introduced such crucial measures (especially from the long-term viewpoint) as gradual raising of the retirement age for eligibility for the old-age pension together with narrowing the gap between these retirement ages for men and women and reflection of general development of wages in the pension calculation. The current legal regulation is not an impediment to the labour force mobility. The basic state pension insurance system is based on defined benefits and PAYG financing. Application paramedic in a medical facility

The title of the presented bachelor's thesis is: The application of paramedics in a medical facility. The theoretical part focuses on the possible employment of paramedics, i.e. in pre-medical and medical care. It then deals with the education, competences and lifelong learning of paramedics and nurses together with a mention of their motivation. The practical part employs the qualitative method of research. Data collection was carried out by means of a semi-structured interview. The researched group consists of 10 paramedic graduates from selected hospitals. The interviews were focused on the motivation for entering the medical facility, the possibility of their employment and what problems they face upon arrival. The aim of this study was to ascertain what problems the newly-employed paramedics encounter, and how they can be utilized in the facilities. Another goal was to find out what motivated them to start working in a medical facility. It was discovered that the main motivation was the lack of job vacancies or it concerned less specialised paramedic services care. It emerged that the difficulty with the employment of paramedics is the preference of licensed practical nurses with a specialisation, even though a paramedic possesses more competences. However, this is understandable because of the greater versatility of nurses. Nevertheless, the paramedics concurred that, after their integration, the situation on their wards met with their expectations. The main problem, which this study attempts to point out, is connected with the lack of job vacancies in EMS. This was the reason for many paramedics to start working in a medical facility instead of EMS, just to find a job position.
