Software for the simulation of autonomous robot
Šťastný, Martin ; Lang, Stanislav (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
Objective of this bachelor work is to make research of SW, which are used for simulation of autonomous robots. At the beginning I explain general concepts of robotic simulation. And I also explain advantages of usage of robotic simulators. In the first part of my research are described some chosen robotic simulators. The second part of my research compares robotic simulators, which is more suitable for simulations of robotic operations. In the end of my research the most suitable simulator is taken and used for simple robotic demonstration.
"The Rebound Effect", Do improvements in energy efficiency lead to economy-wide reduction in energy consumption?
Stastny, Martin ; van Koten, Silvester (advisor) ; Chytilová, Helena (referee)
Improving energy efficiency is considered to be one of the means to successfully reduce energy consumption. At the same time improving energy efficiency implies that the real price for energy services will decrease and as a result will stimulate energy consumption whereas savings associated with higher energy efficiency will be partially diminished. This paradox is better known as the rebound effect. Additionally to a detailed definition of the direct rebound effect, this thesis establishes on the basis of existing researches that the price elasticity of demand for energy services plays a major role in terms of the extent of the rebound effect. Based on the triggers for the rebound effect, applicable policies are proposed and analyzed which can soften rebound effects - such as carbon tax, cap and trade system and standards and regulations. In this context most policies aim to increase the real price of energy services. This thesis concludes both that the existing energy efficiency policies are not adequately pursued and that energy efficiency technology should be fostered since it will also weaken rebound effects.
Návrh konstrukce dvojitého deštěného okna
Šťastný, Martin
The main part of this thesis is the draft of the structure of modern double wainscoting window. New solutions are based on the construction types of old double windows, but it takes account of current technical requirements, which are actually placed on double glazed windows. This bachelor thesis is focused on the technology of the production of new double wainscoting window, which is afterwards manufactured and tested by an authorized testing laboratory public limited company CSI in Zlín. The product is tested according to three main requirements - air permeability, water tightness and wind resistance. The part of the test is a calculate of the heat transfer coefficient for windows.
Mineral composition of agricultural soils developed on loess
Žigová, Anna ; Šťastný, Martin
The study is focused on the comparison of mineral composition of different soil types formed on loess. The soil types were classified according to the World reference base for soil resources. Samples were collected from individual soil horizons. Basic soil properties such as the particle-size distribution, pH values, CaCO3 contents, base saturation, cation exchange capacity, soil organic carbon and nitrogen were analysed using routine pedological methods. Mineral composition was evaluated on the basis of XRD analyses of the fraction < 0.001 mm. Semiquantitative mineral composition was calculated from the areas of basal peaks. The studied soils were found to be dominated by quartz, kaolinite and illite. Semiquantitative analyses of mineral composition of the Greyic Phaeozem, Haplic Chernozem and Haplic Luvisol revealed differences in the association and proportion of individual minerals.
Diversity of soils in the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area
Žigová, Anna ; Šťastný, Martin ; Krejčová, J. ; Koptíková, Leona
The study reports on the analysis of the soil cover structure in the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area. The results allowed to complete the knowledge of soil conditions in the study area considerably. Representative sites, reflecting typical natural conditions and respecting all soil-forming factors were chosen for the study of soil diversity. Soils with diagnostic Bw horizon are dominant.
Pedogenesis of the Territory of Prague Affected by Human Activity
Žigová, Anna ; Šťastný, Martin
Soil cover affected by human activity in Prague is found generally in areas with loess deposits. Sites with different types of anthropogenic load, about 6 km apart, were selected for the study of pedogenesis. Soil profile of the first characteristic sequence was buried beneath a landfill layer 2,5 m thick. In the second sequence, the top part of the soil profile was affected by human activity. Characteristics of pedogenesis were determined using grain-size distribution, pH values, contents of CaCO3, Cox, Nt, cation exchange capacity and clay mineral contents. The character of pedogenetic processes was affected by anthropogenic factor to a variable degree. Lower influence on pedogenesis was encountered in the sequence with soil profile buried beneath a landfill layer.
Porcelanite - a rare material of polished stone artefacts
Šrein, Vladimír ; Šťastný, Martin ; Šreinová, B. ; Langrová, Anna ; Kolman, Blahoslav Jan
Contact metamorphism is effected by heat supply at the contacts of rocks with magmatites. This process produces porcelanite, vitrification of sandstones and burning of coal seans, among other things. In detail mineralogical study we determined calcic feldspar and pyroxenes as a major minerals with titanite, calcite, zeolite, analcime and others.
