Financial analysis of chosen enterprise

The bachelor thesis focuses on evaluation financial situation of chosen enterprise PROMAT CZ spol. s r.o. for the years 2010-2014. Information about the condition of financial health of the company will be got effectively through the application different kinds of methods, models and indicators of financial analysis. The first part of the thesis focuses on characteristics of basic terms related to financial analysis and her important methods and indicators, which will be used next in the practical part of this work. Firstly, in the subsequent practical part are introduced company, her line of business and history. The financial analysis itself is processed by using horizontal, vertical analysis and analysis of ratios based on the financial statements. The horizontal and vertical analysis has shown that the company uses especially an equity capital to finance their own tasks and that is not endangered by any debts. Follow-up analysis of ratios has assessed the company as slightly overcapitalized. For this reason the company should focus on improving the management of short-term financial resources. On the basis of calculation of solvency and bankruptcy models the company can be described as being solvent and not endangered by insolvency in the near future. The complex financial analysis shows that the PROMAT CZ spol. s r.o. is long-term stable and affluent company.
