Present situation and development trends in the area of underground nuclear waste storage sites
Šňupárek, Richard ; Kukutsch, Radovan ; Koníček, Petr
A secure solution of nuclear power plants fuel cycle end is undoubtedly a great technical challenge facing all developed countries, using nuclear energy. High demands on safety performance target solutions are enhanced primarily by the requirement to actually "geological" life of the project period, which represents a period of about 100,000 years. Although currently is not implemented yet neither persistent storage, it is interesting to compare the solutions prepared in different countries from different aspects of natural conditions, structures, volume and time schedules or ongoing research programs. The subject paper is based on publicly available information sources, especially from the pu-blications and presentations at scientific conferences in the last 2 years.

Project monitoring the stress-strain state of the rock mass during extraction of coal seam 30 (634) within the test run mining methods corridor - a pillar in the OPJ Mine CSM - Sever. Proposal verify the possibility to use anti-shake prognosis and prevention using mining methods corridor - pillar within pilot operation in seam 30 (634) in OPJ Mine CSM - Sever

On the basis of a contract for No. 850/33/10 and Appendix 1 of this contract , between OKD , as, ČSM and the Institute of Geonics AS CR, v.v.i. we present the following project monitoring stress tension-deformation condition of the rock mass during extraction of coal seam No.30 (634 ) within the test run mining methods corridor - pillar in a protective pillars jam CSM Mine, north location. Monitoring of the stress tension-deformation state of rock mass is a prerequisite for successful verification of a new mining method unapproved hall - pillar and its further use in the Czech part of the Upper Silesian Coal Basin. This mining method is designed on the basis of experiences and practices, which are verified in different natural conditions and depths, and therefore it is necessary for the verification of the conditions of the Czech part of the Upper Silesian Basin on the basis of the proposed geotechnical monitoring. Test operation of the new hall - pillar method will be implemented in the seam No.30 (634 ) in the rock mass included in the category without the risk of shocks.
Design of roadway support in coal mines
Šňupárek, Richard
Design of roadway support in coal mines is mostly based on simple united methods for designating of support loading and for design of support constructions. These methods are based in majority of cases on practical engineering processes with using of empirical knowledge from the area of interest (mine, deposit, stratigrafic unit). In cases with similar conditions it is possible to compare the methods of roadway support design. The contribution deals with comparison of design methods used in Ostrava Karviná coal basin and Ruhr coal basin in Germany.

Odborné vyjádření k možnosti univerzálního použití metodiky výpočtu stabilních mezichodbových pilířů (ARPMS verze 10) i v jiných slojích v podmínkách české části Hornoslezské uhelné pánve
Šňupárek, Richard ; Koníček, Petr ; Waclawik, Petr ; Ptáček, Jiří ; Staš, Lubomír
Metody stanovení rozměrů stabilních pilířů dobývací metody komora - pilíř udává řada autorů. Jedná se o typické empiricko - analytické inženýrské metody. Ačkoli vesměs vycházejí ze základního statického schematu přenosu vertikální složky zatížení, připadajícíc na plochu pilíře a příslušný podíl plochy okolních komor (chodbic), vlastní výpočtové koeficienty byly stanoveny zpravidla na základě měření a pozorování v konkrétních důlních podmínkách. Použití těchto metod v jiných podmínkách proto má v prvním případě vždy charakter zkušebního provozu, jehož výsledky a získané poznatky teprve umožní další standardní používání této dobývací metody. Tento posudek vedle vlastního zhodnocení projektovaných stabilních pilířů obsahuje návrh monitoringu a sledování, které považujeme za nezbytné pro další používání této metody.
Probabilistic designing of bolted support
Janas, P. ; Krejsa, M. ; Šňupárek, Richard ; Krejsa, V.
The paper briefly reviews one of the proposed methods of probabilistic reliability assessment of anchoring reinforcement usable in mine excavations and undergroundworkings. Application of this koncept – software „Kotvení“ (Anchoring) was especiallydeveloped for this purpose usingDirect Determined Fully Probabilistic Method (DDFPMB).
Stability control of double used roadways with combined support
Šňupárek, Richard ; Konečný, Petr ; Ptáček, Jiří ; Koníček, Petr
Double using of roadways in coal mines requires special kinds of support. Combined support consisting from bolting and steel arch supports is described. The paper contains methods of dimensioning and design of combined support in conditions of Ostrava Karviná coal basin.
Verification of the possibility of utilization of rockbolt technology in the Nováky colliery conditions
Koníček, Petr ; Souček, Kamil ; Šňupárek, Richard ; Hrabovský, J.
Deformation of longwall gates are significant mining complication in conditions of mining of thickness brown coal seams. Difficult mining conditions are coped with standard way – reduced steel arch support spacing, wood polygon supports and timber poles etc. Presented contribution introduces the first step to application bolt technology for strengthening of current longwall gate support. In roadway No. 111 114-05 was installed dozen set of glass fibre reinforce plastic grouted rockbolts K60-25 by polyester resin Lokset in conditions of Nováky Colliery. Afterwards it was carried out pull tests of rockbolts, their assessment and it was defined recommendation for rockbolts using in conditions of Nováky Colliery
Strategy of longwall preparation and of the possibility of support strengthening in the coal mines with the rock burst risk
Ptáček, Jiří ; Konečný, Petr ; Šňupárek, Richard ; Koníček, Petr
The contribution presents conclusions of the research project called Miners protection against rock burst in the gates and measures to avoid them after checking the rock burst danger, supported by Czech Mining Authority. The results of research on the reinforced break through support and research on the way and strategy of longwalls driving in the conditions of rock burst danger are described.
