Copy Protection of CD and DVD
Řehák, Lukáš ; Říha, Zdeněk (referee) ; Cvrček, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about the CD anc DVD copy protection, its discription, classification and testing. It also focuses on the quality of the protections, frequency of use, possibility of succesful copying and other properties of these protections. Then it discusses the reasons for using these protections.
Cryptovirology and Future of Malware
Prchal, Josef ; Říha, Zdeněk (referee) ; Cvrček, Daniel (advisor)
Malware is connected to information technology. They influence each other. The aim of this thesis is to describe various types of this software and give a brief account of its history and development. It also discusses main trends of this area and tries to foretell the future development.
Great Britain and Its World Dominance Story: A Reassessment
ŘÍHA, Zdeněk
The bachelor´s thesis deals with the history of the United Kingdom in reponse to Stuart Laycock´s claims that the United Kingdom, or its parts, have in history invaded 90% ofexisting countries. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the methodology for determining which military operations can be classified as invasions and which cannot. The practical part describes the situation in individual countries and the reason for their calssification as invaded, or uninvaded.
Generating random data from biometric samples
Sachová, Romana ; Říha, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Vondruška, Pavel (referee)
Title: Generating random data from biometric samples Author: Bc. Romana Sachová Department: Department of Algebra Supervisor: Ing. Mgr. Zdeněk Říha, Ph.D. Supervisor's e-mail address: zriha@fi.muni.cz Abstract: This thesis aims to achieve the generation of random data from the bio- metric samples. Studying the biometric characteristics, randomness and generation of random data suitable for cryptography as well the variability of fingerprint, iris, face and human voice. In the practical part has been tested the variability of 200 prints from the same finger, using three factors: 1) The coordinates of fingerprints cores. Due to the repeatability of coordinates the obtained entropy was low. 2) Fingerprint area approximation. It was able to verify the diversity of all areas. The maximum available entropy remains around 15 bits. 3) Ridge lines distortion. From the core to the top of the fingerprint has been taken boxes containing part of the ridge line. For all boxes was calculated the average phase angle of the gradient which represents the change of intensity in the box. Vector of phase angles describes the ridge line distortion. Maximum estimated entropy of this vectors was estimated at 71,586 bits. Keywords: biometry, randomness, entropy 1

Influence of inner geometry shapes of suspension nozzles on hydraulic power conditions and water velocity fields of jets
Zeleňák, Michal ; Říha, Zdeněk
The aim of study was numerical simulation of water flow with absence of abrasive particles inside inner geometry of suspension nozzle. Shapes of cone - radius profiles in relation with change of hydraulic parameters were studied. Results of simulations are presented in report.
CFD simulation of a free surface jet of high pressure nozzle. Jet sloping 90° 85° and 75°
Říha, Zdeněk
The report contains CFD results and description of the two phase flow water and air. Water comes into the computational domain through the nozzle which creates water jet. The jet falls on the wall surface where flows along the surface plate in all directions (x,y mainly). The aim of the work is to show how the falling water flows on the wall surface with help of advanced CFD model. Three cases had been solved there with a various jets sloping to the bottom surface plate. The first case contains results with configuration of the geometry for the jet sloping 90o. Second case contains results with configuration of the geometry for the jet sloping 85o and third case contains results with configuration of the geometry for the jet sloping 75o, see enclosures 1, 2 and 3. Given calculation had been done as steady state calculations.
The Flow of Mixture Vapors in the Vacuum Column K101, Nominal and Reduced Capacity
Říha, Zdeněk
The report contains CFD results and description of the gas mixture flow in the bottom part of the vacuum column K101. There were solved two cases. Both cases had the same geometry. The difference between ones was in quantity of vapors on the inputs. The first case was calculated for the nominal quantity of vapors. The second case was calculated for reduced quantity (60% of nominal quantity) of vapors. Calculated results of above mentioned cases are placed in report´s enclosures 1 and 2.
Flow Field Analysis in Abrasive Head as Tool for High-Speed Abrasive Jet Cutting
Říha, Zdeněk ; Zeleňák, Michal
The article presents an analysis of the calculated flow field of water, vapor and\nabrasive particles in the inner geometry of a tool called the abrasive head using\na multiphase numerical flow model. The results of the above-mentioned analysis\nare compared with measured values of abrasive particle velocities at the outlet of\nthe abrasive head. For measuring of abrasive particle velocities, the PIV method\nwas used.
Influence of hydrodynamic nozzle wear on erosion effect of self-excited pulsating water jet
Klich, Jiří ; Říha, Zdeněk ; Foldyna, Vladimír
The article deals with the study of the wear of the hydrodynamic nozzle and its\ninfluence on the generation of a self-excited pulsating water jet (SPWJ). The nozzle\nwas monitored for the ability of the waterjet to erode the surface of the aluminum\nalloy EN AW 6060 at regular intervals.
