Balon, Jiří ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis was to familiarize with VoIP telephony development and its nowadays utilization. First part of the work includes description of known communication protocols SIP and H.323 architecture and their usage in communication. Next part is dedicated to software PBX Asterisk that runs under Ubuntu distribution of Linux operation system. The process of PBX installation is described there as well as its adjustment for SIP and H.323 for communication within IP net. There is also described software PBX VCON that runs under Windows XP operation system. Beyond the adjustment of the PBXs there is also concrete adjustment of software clients SJPhone and X-Lite that are necessary for communication between individual telephone exchanges. The final chapter is dedicated to the problems of mutual connection (intercommunication) of individual telephone exchanges Asterisk and VCON.
Evaluation of classification efficiency using ROC cruves

This bachelor thesis is focused on work eith the ROC curves. Introduces the reader with ROC curves and their use to analyzing signals and basic priciples of spectral estimation and getting an AUC for ROC curve. Also shows an algorithm for detecting sound of siren in record using a simple algorithm and evaluation of various jamming sound of sirens by displaying the ROC curves, supplemented by calculation and comparing the areas under these curves (AUC). The algorithm is written in a development enviroment Matlab.
Digital Image Watermarking
Al Zaid, Abdullah Saleh ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This is the Final Project Report as being composed of an extensive summary of activities and results made by the student Abdullah S. A. Alzaid while undertaking the Watermark Project. This project acquaints an algorithm of digital watermarking which is based on Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT) and Discrete Wavelet Transform(DWT). In accord with the characters of human vision, the main objective of the project is to be focused on developing an image watermarking algorithm by taking advantage of both the DCT and DWT transforms and analysis of the algorithm on the basis of invisibility, distortion and robustness to attacks. The simulation results show that this algorithm is invisible and has good robustness for some common image processing operations. By the use of Matlab software, the two structures have been coded and then implemented.
Digital filters for image processing
Všetička, Václav ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This work is dedicated to methods for editing the digital image. When you need an suitable algorithm to highlight the desired information from the image, or conversely, suppress disturbing elements in the picture. This work describes a few most basic image editing filters to use common in technical and medical practice. The result of this work are implementing some filters into Java.
Identification of persons on the basis of soft biometric and non-biometric traits
Prorok, Josef ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis is study the possibility of identifying individuals based on soft biometric and non-biometric traits, the selection of appropriate soft biometric and non-biometric traits, subsequent verification success identification methods or partial identification of persons on real data and implementation methods with HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL.
Extraction of arteries and veins from fundus image of human retina.
Pinkava, Marek ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Minář, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with processing of retinal fundus images. Vision is the most important human sense and its injury has very serious consequences for humans. Automatic processing of retinal images increases the efficiency of medical examination and accelerates diagnoses of deseases. Retina exhibits unique characteristics for each person and thus can also be used to identify people. In this task is briefly discussed the structure and properties of each parts of the eye, particularly the retina, and their possible diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and age related macular degeneration. Subsequently, the task describes the representation and characteristics of the digital image. Also is devoted to selected image segmentation methods namely thresholding, edge detection and segmentation techniques based on the matched filter. The outcome of this task is the application in which several segmentation methods are implemented for the blood vessels extraction. For each of these methods it is possible to set the parameters of the segmentation to ensure high quality blood vessels extraction in images of different quality.
Stereoscopic sensor for distance measurement
Vavroš, Ondřej ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Hasmanda, Martin (advisor)
This master's thesis will take us through theoretical procedure that allows us to determine the distance of an object by stereoscopic sensor. Part of this work presents the description of the steps to achieve image of objects, calibraton and rectification. At the next part our study provides an overview of algortihms for creating disparity maps and determining the distance of the object from sensor. In the following part of thesis deals with the implementation of these processes into aplication which aim is to measure the distance.
Audiovisual Work Presentation in Virtual Reality
Lazorčák, Daniel ; Sikora, Pavel (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
Goal of this thesis is research of Game Engines aviable for the creation of gallery of audiovisual artworks in virtual reality, research of texture mapping, choice of suitable game engine for our work, creation of scene of the virtual gallery in selected Game Engine, demonstration of projecting the artwork onto exhibit body by streaming it from internet storage with use of ambisonic sound that engine provides and with abillity to control the playback of the piece. Creation of search engine for looking up artpieces in database by using tags with option to project the found piece to the body. Properties of Game Engines Unity, Unreal Engine, Game Maker Studio, Godot and CryEngine are given. A working application of virtual gallery with implented audiovisual artpieces is created.
Automation of Exoscopic Analysis Using Image Processing of Sedimentary Grains Acquired by Electron Microscope
Křupka, Aleš ; Křížek,, Marek (referee) ; Baroňák, Ivan (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals with image analysis methods which can be exploited in exoscopic analysis of sedimentary grains, specifically for the purpose of distinguishing between geomorphologic geneses which influenced a form of sedimentary grains. The images of sedimentary grains were acquired by a scanning electron microscope. The main contribution is the proposal of multiple methods that can significantly automate the exoscopic analysis. These methods cover the automatic segmentation of grains in image, the automatic analysis of roundness of 2D grain projection and the classification of geomorphologic geneses according to the grain surface structure. In the section concerning the automatic segmentation, a segmentation method enabling an easy subsequent manual result correction was proposed. This method is based on the split-and-merge approach. The individual steps the procedure were designed to exploit specific properties of sedimentary grain images in order to obtain the best segmentation results. In the section concerning the automatic roundness analysis of 2D projection of sedimentary grains, an influence of pixel resolution on a result roundness value was evaluated. Further, a minimal number of grains, which is necessary to analyze in order to reliably compare a pair of geomorphological geneses, was investigated. For the determination of this number, a method was proposed and experimentally verified. In the section of automatic analysis of sedimentary grain surface structure, a method for classification of geomorphologic geneses was proposed. The method utilizes low-level texture features which describes individual images of sedimentary grains. A model of geomorphological genesis is constituted of a set of histograms representing occurrences of different configurations of low-level texture features. The methods proposed in the thesis were tested and evaluated based on a database, which consists of sedimentary grain samples from 4 different geomorphological geneses (eolic, glacial, slope and volcanic).
