Use of CRM Systems in the Management of the ALUMNI Network at the Law Faculty of the Charles University (case study)

This thesis examines the potential use of CRM systems to create, manage, and expand the alumni network of public university faculty in a case study. Alumni care is an area with great potential for overall faculty growth. The paper first focuses on the reasons leading to alumni interest and the patterns of alumni loyalty. To maintain and develop a good relationship with alumni, the application of a CRM system appears to be an useful aid. These are described in the thesis not only in terms of their basic functioning but also in the context of the university environment. The thesis also concentrates on innovations in student care using information systems and the selection of suitable CRM system suppliers. Practical section of this paper contents a case study conducted at the Faculty of Law of Charles University. The output of this work is to determine the assumptions, benefits and risks of CRM systems implementation for the purpose of alumni care at this faculty. Recommendations for improving communication between the faculty and its future and current alumni are also presented. Given its practical focus, the findings of the paper can serve as a basis for future development of a strategy for alumni care by selected university's fakulty.
Confession and its impact on the criminal proceedings

1 Confession and its impact on the criminal proceedings Abstract The aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive view of the issue of confession, to characterize this legal concept and describe its importance in matters of substantive and procedural criminal law. For this purpose, the author synthesized the available legal, doctrinal, judicial and other relevant information with her own opinions and considerations de lege ferenda. The content of the thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter contains a historical introduction covering the development of confession from the 14th century to the political trials of the 1970s. The second chapter characterizes confession in terms of content and form, focusing on particular requirements for confession and various situations in which it can be made. It also focuses on the legal concept of declaration of guilt, its differences from confession and the mutual relation between the two aforementioned in the light of the recent amendment to the Criminal Procedure Code. The third chapter deals with confession as the evidence and its significance even in case it is revoked or obtained in an inadmissible manner. Tobacco Products Regulation

Title of the Master's Thesis: Tobacco Products Regulation Abstract: The submitted diploma thesis focuses on the issue of tobacco products regulation. The aim of the work is to analyse substantive law governing tobacco products in all its aspects so that the work provides a comprehensive overview of substantive law with regards to tobacco product's "life cycle", from production to consumer. The first chapter describes the methodology and existing literature, providing the reader with an overview of key sources on which it was possible to base the writing of the work. The second chapter deals with historical developments and applicable law at the European and international level. The following chapters deal with the individual aspects of tobacco product's regulation. Chapter 3 deals in great detail with the regulation of the product itself (i.e. product layout, content and ingredients, requirements for its packaging, and requirements for traceability and traceability of products). In the Czech Republic relatively benevolent regulation of tobacco products advertising is covered in Chapter 4. Drinking regime in adolescence

The bachelor thesis deals with the fluid intake at the age of adolescence. The aim of the work was to evaluate the quality and the total amount of fluids received at the age of adolescence. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the influence of fluids on the teenager body, is attentive to diseases caused by surplus or deficiency of fluid intake, deals with the composition of fluids and their effects on the organism. The research was made through a questionnaire survey that examines the total fluid intake, the composition and types (tea, coffee, milk and soups) received in 24 hours, the most frequent daytime of fluid consumption and their intake depending on the activity of the teenagers. The obtained data were evaluated and then graphs and charts were created. Research shows that more than a half of respondents have high fluid intake. About one third has a physiological fluid intake and one fifth has a low fluid intake. Respondents mostly drink drinking water in fluid intake. On the contrary, teenagers drink less coffee and energy drinks. They mostly consume instant coffee and at least Viennese melange, ice coffee, 3 in 1, Irish coffee and americano. The most popular type of tea is fruit tea and the least popular is herbal tea. More than a half of respondents consume half-fat milk and at least low-fat milk. The most popular soup is chicken or beef broth, the least popular are broccoli and garlic soup. The most respondents often consume fluids at home in the afternoon and evening, at least during lunch. The fluid intake is also influenced by sports activity. Most of the teenagers are engaged in some sports, a small number of teenagers do not any sport at all. The most popular sport is football, the least popular is volleyball.
Motivational System in the Organization

This bachelor thesis is focused on motivation of employees. The aim of this thesis is to find out employees satisfaction provided by the LIŠKAEXPERT beneficial program. The theoretical part explains the concept of motivation and other concepts closely related to the topic. Theoretical part looks into the detail of the motivational system of the company, theories of motivation that look at the motivation from a different point of view. The practical part is devoted to the satisfaction of employees with benefits. The research is concluded on the basis of the questionnaire suervey, respondents are the LIŠKAEXPERT employees. Based on the results from this research the solutions have been proposed. These solutions should increase the satisfaction of these employees.
Contrastive analysis of the Czech and Spanish legal terminology in Family Law

The aim of this Master's thesis is to excerpt from the Spanish Civil code legal terms typical for family law and to compare their level of equivalence with Czech family law terms. The thesis is divided in theoretical and practical part. The first chapter of the theoretical part describes legal language and compares legal Spanish with legal Czech. The second chapter is about translation of legal texts and its methods. The last chapter of the theoretical part briefly introduces family law and the object of its studies. The practical part contains analysis of family law Spanish terms which are ordered according to its semantic fields. At the end of the practical part there is a commented glossary. The thesis is finally summarized in Spanish résumé.
Comparative analysis of the Czech and Spanish legislation of matrimony and analysis of the relevant Spanish legal terminology

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is the description of legal forms of formation and dissolution of marriage in the Czech Republic and Spain, creation of compact comparison of both legal forms. The thesis is divided in four major chapters which are divided in smaller parts. The first chapter is about the family law, its legal sources and its history in both compared countries. The second chapter engages in the formation of marriage in the Czech Republic and Spain and it is focused on its conditions and forms. The third chapter deals with the dissolution of marriage in both compared countries. Each of those chapters is concluded by comparison which points out the most important differences and correspondences between them. The last chapter is dedicated to characteristic of legal language and analysis of representative terms related to formation and dissolution of marriage. My Bachelor thesis is terminated by résumé in Spanish.
