Moravske Branice - Oslavany Track Speed Increase
Hrdlička, Šimon ; Křemen, Tomáš (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the increase of a track speed in the section Moravske Branice – Oslavany. The thesis attempts to obtain a speed increase by modifying the existing geometric parameters of the track in the scope of the regular maintenance, in some cases even more thorough, yet still not that costly. The assessment of geometric parameters of the track is done according to the standard CSN 73 6360-1. It is also assessed whether the individual railway crossings meet the conditions for the track speed increase. Part of the thesis is also the design of speed for vehicles with a permitted cant deficiency of 130 mm.

Boskovice Connection Study
Jung, Jiří ; Sobotka, Lukáš (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis solves the design of the railroad called Boskovice connection, which is a line allowing direct connection for trains from Brno to Boskovice outside the railway station Skalice nad Svitavou. In the course of the work, the route of the connection is planned, including the connection to the Rajec-Jestrebi – Skalice nad Svitavou and Skalice nad Svitavou – Boskovice track section.

Spatial materials for additive manufacturing in civil engineering
Říha, Tomáš ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (referee) ; Podroužek, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with additive manufacturing in the construction industry and with materials used in this field. The first part of the thesis defines the 3D printing, briefly describes the history of this progressive technology and gives an overview of the used methods and technologies. The printing methods are divided according to the physical state of the basic material used for printing. The next part of the thesis presents the possible use of additive manufacturing in the construction industry and an overview of realized projects. Finally, at the end of the theoretical part are introduced materials applicable to additive manufacturing in the construction industry and is defined the concept of spatial materials. Spatial materials are a relatively new term, which is not yet in the literature sufficiently defined. These materials can be used for an application in a space where the structure and the position of their particles can be optimized. They can be applied for the creation of 2D filling structures, which are more useful for geometrically simple and simply loaded constructions. It is preferable to use spatial materials to create 3D structures that are designed to fill numerically optimized structures. These structures are based on the principle of double curvature and on a triply-periodic minimum surface (TPMS). In the practical part of the thesis was created the design of building block filled with 3D gyroid structure, designed for prefabrication by using additive manufacturing in the factory or at the site of construction. This proposal reflects the increasing demand for easy individualization of constructions and building elements. Especially, the demand for the creation of structures and shapes which are topologically optimized with a customized appearance and sufficient strength, all at the customer's request.

Hrusovany n/J - Znojmo Track Modernization Study
Dvořák, Dominik ; Janoušek, Jan (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
The theme of the Bachelor thesis is modernization of railway line Hruš - Znojmo. The project includes assessment of possibility of increasing the critical running speed up to 200 km/h and its implementation on current track structure. Current track geometry, including its vertical and horizontal alignement, has been modified and the implementation of the line speed verified according to valid standards and regulations base on ČSN 73 6360-1.

Holesov Station Reconstruction
Ludvíková, Lilija ; Šmíd, Jaroslav (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with upgrading of the Holešov railway station. The goal is to design a solution suitable for the capacity for a current traffic and valid legislation. Required are two boarding edges in the length of 130 meters enabling access to persons with reduced mobility and orientation, adjustments or renovation of a station throat triggered by insertion of platforms, maximizing line speed and design of railway superstructure and substructure design including drainage.
