Fiedlerová, Jana ; Čihař, Martin (advisor) ; Görner, Tomáš (referee)
Compilation part of the Bachelor thesis is focused on sustainable development and tourism. An integral part is conservation management with a focus on the NP Šumava. Thesis mainly concentrates on evaluating the impact of tourism on the environment whereas one chapter/part is an analysis of winter tourist season in mountain areas. The experimental part deals with monitoring of tourims in NP Šumava to which was used a method of questionnaire survey. The emphasis is put on winter sports tourism. Research results (from winter season) are compared with summer surveys. Among new findings belong a increase of car traffic by 5%, absence of adequate car parking facilities/parking spaces and diverse opinions of summer and winter visitors. Based on these results relevant management disposals are introduced.

Čtrnáctý, Jaromír ; Banaš, Marek (advisor) ; Čihař, Martin (referee)
- 8 - ABSTRACT During the last years, nature-based tourism has been a rapidly growing branch. The most significant impacts are often located in the most valuable and vulnerable nature areas. Therefore, finding a compromise between the concerns of visitors and nature area protection will become vital in the near future. This thesis explores the relationship between the visitors' flow and the environment in the Čertoryje Nature Preserve in Bílé Karpaty Mountains. The work consists of four main parts - a map of values, a map of vulnerability, a map of impacts and counting of visitors at the most used routes within the preserve. The work is supported by a survey aimed at the visitors' opinions and by an evaluation of the visitors' space distribution. Finally, the work is completed by concrete management suggestions. As expected, it has been found out that the most valuable and vulnerable areas are the valley of the stream Járkovec and it's south-western slope. This is also where most of the visitors' impacts have been located. Nevertheless, the overall number of the visitors during the survey period turned out to be a bit lower than expected. The survey also revealed that most of the visitors come to the area because of the fauna and flora richness (45,2 % of respondents) and that they stay mainly just for one...

Szücsová, Veronika ; Čihař, Martin (advisor) ; Vojta, Jaroslav (referee)
This study deals with the main environmental factor that can influence river bank vegetation on the site V Túních in Central bohemia, near Berounka river. This is the rest of the old river arm of the river Berounka which is adjacent to the soft meadow willow, poplar and meadow communities. The site is now heavily influenced by human activities and the pool is becoming degraded, part of the work is to propose measures for their protection Phytosociological survey and mapping of plant communities was carried, . The pH, conductivity, water level, moisture and organic matter in soil were measured. Effect of these enviornmental parameters on vegeration composition was explored using CCA. Tracking the historical development of plant cover using orotofotomap from 1950, 1976, 1985, 1994 and 2008 show komplete removal of woody vegetating in 50s and their regeneration. The proposed management is recommended to remove or reduce the incidence of invasive plants and invasive species, restore the hydrological regime of the artificial deepening of the pool.
