Author: Bc. Kateřina Pařízková Title: Live-in Personal Assistance for Individuals with Quadriplegia Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to find out if the live-in assistance described below would be in demand by quadriplegics in the Czech Republic and if there would be social service workers who would be interested to do the work following the British model. Thus, the main method was the observation of photographs or video recordings and the observation of league matches, supplemented where appropriate by questions. The results of document analysis and observation were elaborated in the results section by analysis or more detailed description, supplemented by photographs and references to video recordings of league matches. RESULTS: In the results section of the thesis, situations or examples of selected offences were analysed and described in detail. For each, the values of the offence, i.e. the amount of punishment for committing the offence, were recorded. Pathological consequences of hypokinesis in paraplegic patient and their identification by TVS method
Vavrová, Dominika ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Čichoň, Rostislav (referee)
Thesis title: Pathological consequences of hypokinesis in paraplegic patient and their identification by TVS method The thesis focus: The focus of the thesis was to identify and classify differences of mechanical properties of axial systems between paraplegic patient and people from healthy population. Secondary focus of the thesis was to identify and classify changes of mechanical properties of axial system in paraplegic patient depending on physiotherapeutic intervention. The research methods: Three people, one paraplegic person and two healthy people were measured with TVS (Transfer Vibration Through Spine) method. Paraplegic person was measured twice, before and after one hour long physiotherapeutic intervention (PI). Healthy people were measured once, without PI. TVS method is a diagnostic apparatus that enables qualitative and quantitative classification of properties of axial skeleton and its segments. It is based on fact that velocity of mechanical waves and density of mechanical energy transmitting through axial skeleton is affected by properties of this system. Thus we were able to analyze and identify mechanical properties of measured axial systems according to differences of input and output values of acceleration on particular spinous processes. The results: When we compared frequency...
Dyspraxia and its Reeducation in the School Age
Roškotová, Irena ; Hátlová, Běla (advisor) ; Čichoň, Rostislav (referee)
Title: Dyspraxia and its reeducation in the school age Objectives: The main goal in this master thesis was to assess how prepared physiotherapist exercises influence the life of student with diagnosed dyspraxia, dysgraphia and dysorthography Methods: It was use the method of long-term observation of the child in his usual environment. The method of controlled and open interview with parents and teachers was applied to identify a personal, family and school history of the child. Whether the skills acquired during the regular rehabilitation will contribute to the integration of students with dyspraxia in the group of children and will lead to greater autonomy. After preparing the training plan, and after his regular exercise has been reported strengthening of the muscle corset around the body and improving the coordination. After regular exercises on fine and gross motor skills, we registered the release of his right hand and thereby improve of a graphomotoric skills. Method: To evaluation level of motoric performance of 60 schoolchildren from special primary school and 60 schoolchildren from primary school in Horni Slavkov was used eight motoric tests{ "Deep trunk bend", "Long jump", "Standing - knee bending rest - press up-knee bending rest - standing", "Press ups", "Sprint 60 m distance", "Sprint 150m distance - boys", "Sprint 800 m distance - girls"} Results: From the point of view of average performance in motoric tests was proved lower motor performance of schoolchildren from special primary school just with the exception of test "Deep trunk bend" - girls, "Standing - knee bending rest - press up- knee bending rest - standing" - girls, "Sprint 60 m distance" - girls. In view of objective significance differences in average performance of schoolchildren from special primary school and schoolchildren from primary school {assessed by value of Cohen's coefficient influence d fixed...
