This thesis deals with applications for organization of time and contacts. It includes analysis of existing solutions, used architectures and brief characteristics of existing applications. Thesis also deals with developing a client application for Java EE applications, and discusses the basic technologies that are used in this eld (Swing, Java EE platform and its technologies). The practical part includes design and implementation of modules for managing contacts and tasks, which are incorporated into the demo application Java EE Organizer.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá teoretickými poznatky a návrhem bikónické antény pracující v kmitočtovém rozsahu 4 až 8 GHz. V rámci práce jsou také popsány způsoby impedančního přizpůsobení a vybrané typy polarizátorů elektromagnetických vln a radioprůzračných krytů. Na základě teoretických poznatků je určena koncepce návrhu bikónické antény a vybrán vhodný polarizátor pro zajištění kruhové polarizace vyzařovaných elektromagnetických vln.

Topic of this bachelor thesis is preparation of land for a development project. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part gives on overview of processes necessary for initiation, preparation and implementation of the development project. Namely these are the idea of construction, issues related to spatial planning, different phases of the development project, funding of the development project, ensuring the legal ownership of the land and setting the utilities. The practical part describes the difference between two development projects of land preparation for construction of houses, one initiated and managed by a local authority and the second of uncontrolled construction on property of a real estate owner.

This thesis summarizes the information retrieval theory, the relational model basic and focuses on the data indexing in relational database systems. The thesis focuses on multimedia data searching. It includes description of automatic multimedia data content extraction and multimedia data indexing. Practical part discusses design and solution implementation for improving query effectivity for multidimensional vector similarity which describes multimedia data. Thesis final part discusses experiments with this solution.

Frequency doubling active antenna

This thesis deals with the analysis of a planar antenna operating at two frequencies with use frequency doubling. The design and simulation of the antenna in ANSOFT Designer is described. The antenna is designed for two operating frequencies 900 MHz and 1.8 GHz. The antenna is required to operate TM10 mode and TM01 modes.

Importance of Kind Approach in Care of Seniors

The work deals with a kind approach in the care of seniors. The first part of the work addresses issues such as ageing and old age, division of old age, psychic and social aspects of old age and old age in the Bible. The second part defines the concept of {\clqq}kind approach`` and demonstrates such a kind approach on the examples from the Bible and personalities of Christian charity and the Catholic Church, who became known by their kind approach. The third part discusses the kind approach in perspective of social work, of psychotherapy and importance of kind approach in the care od seniors. The kind approach in the care of all those in need stems from Christian love agapé, caritas), it is also an important therapeutic instrument of Rogers´ psychotherapy and in this meaning relevant in social work, especially in social work with seniors.

TITLE: Alpine Skiing World Cup Organization Benefits in Relation to Špindlerův Mlýn Municipality AUTHOR: Bc. Petr Černý FACULTY: Faculty of Physical Education and Sport SUPERVISOR: Dr.. Libor Flemr, Ph.D. ABSTRACT This study focuses on the town of Spindleruv Mlyn, which is currently the largest, highest- rated, but also the most expensive ski resort in the Czech Republic and holds TOP ski resort, which in recent years as the only winter resort tried to host the World Cup in Alpine skiing women, in the disciplines of slalom and giant slalom women. Spindleruv Mlyn organized racing elite women's series for the first time in December 2005 and again in January 2008. Premiere World Cup Giant was initially held back in 2003, but then defeated the plans of the organizers of the lack of snow. A success for the next SP in Spindleruv Mlyn took place in March 2011. Objective: The aim of this study is to assess the benefits for town of Spindleruv Mlyn (hence the whole county, region and Czech Republic) may have held such events as the World Cup in Alpine Skiing. Method: The calculation method was used a questionnaire comprising mainly by promoting the values that the organization of the event took place, but the city at the cost involved only a small fraction, so the effects are huge. Turquoise and its imitation

This bachelor thesis provides information about the history of turquoise stone, the use, etymology of its name and spreading of this stone in ancient cultures. It includes general knowledge about mineralogy of turquoise, its structure, chemical and physical qualities and also approaches of gemological aspects. The work expands on the genesis of turquoise and its occurrence in the world. The minerals and other materials, which are nowadays used for its imitation and characteristics of differences between each other, are described further. Inovace pěstebních technologií konopí

The theoretical part of diploma thesis briefly focuses on botanical characteristics of cannabis, legislation of cannabis cultivation in Czech republic, agrotechnics and harvest of hemp. The cultivation technologies used in production and harvest of cannabis for pharmaceutical purposes are described in more details. In the practical part was established an experiment with cannabis plants. This experiment was carried in laboratory at department of plant biology at Mendel university in Brno. The experiment was carried out in two variants of light spectrum (white LED lights emitting complete visible spectrum and combination of blue and red LED in ratio 1:1), which were dividen into three groups with different trim method. In plants were observed parameters of quantum yield of electron transport of photosystem II, chlorophyll fluorescence, yield of dried flowers and selected secondary metabolites. In each of lighting and trim variants have been recorded various results. As results shown, white LED lights emitting a full visible spectrum appear to be more effective than the blue and red spectrum in ratio of 1:1. Effect of trimming in this experiment was not statistically conclusive.

Hodnocení velikosti kořenového systému a výnosu u vybraných odrůd řepky ozimé

Six varieties of winter oilseed rape were measured according to the size of the root system and its electrical capacity. The size of the root system was measured by using LCR Meter ELC 131 D. The measurements were performed at the research station of ÚKZÚZ in Pusté Jakartice in the growth stages of stem elongation, bud formation and flowering. The results proved differences in the size of the root system. The highest values of the root system were found in variety Bonanza and lowest values in variety DK Explicit. The other part was harvest, weigh samples and determinate thousand seed weigh. In the final there was evaluated relationship between the root system size, yield and thousand seed weigh.
