What is the attitude of special educators to the policy of inclusion?
Jirovská, Natálie ; Mouralová, Magdalena (advisor) ; Černý, Jakub (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the opinions of special educators in special schools on inclusion. Although they are not direct actors of inclusion, they are workers in education and it can be useful to know their opinion. The aim of this work is to find out the opinion of the interviewed special education teachers, and then compare them with the opinions of other respondents. In the theoretical part, I deal with the concept of inclusion, the definition of the role of a special pedagogue in a special school, I state who is a pupil with special educational needs, I present two special schools in České Budějovice, in which special pedagogues teach, who were used as respondents in the practical part, and finally, I present the theory of street- level bureaucracy and the theory of the role of line workers in public policy, with whom I continue to work in the practical part. In the practical part, I present qualitative research using four semi-structured interviews and analysis of media outputs of special educators in newspapers and on the Internet. I subsequently analyze these sources. I mainly focus on their personal opinion on inclusion, then the perception of their role in the inclusion process, trust in the system and I apply the already mentioned theories. From the results of the research, it is...

Spatial Analysis of Czech Parliamentary Election: Comparison of Spatial Econometrics and Machine Learning
Černý, Jakub ; Šťastná, Lenka (advisor) ; Gregor, Martin (referee)
This thesis analyses the results of the Czech Parliamentary election in 2021 and attempts to explain the voting support of major political subjects by using aggregate data from Czech municipalities. Since the data evince spatial autocorrelation, it is necessary to specify a suitable spatial model. The thesis provides both empirical and economic evidence for the Spatial Durbin Error Model, which enables distinguishing the direct and indirect effects of particular independent variables and accounts for the spatial dependence of error terms. This method shows that variables describing the socio-economic characteristics of inhabitants, such as the share of entrepreneurs or people with university education, play the most significant role in explaining voting results and evince mostly the direct effects. On the contrary, variables describing municipalities, such as public spending or infrastructure, are more likely to impact the election result indirectly. Subsequently, the analysis is replicated using two tree-based machine learning algorithms and all models are evaluated based on their ability to predict the election results from unseen data. Even though machine learning methods estimate only relative variable importance instead of standard coefficients, this approach represents a perspective...
Teachers' organizations as actors in educational policy
Saifrt, Daniel ; Mouralová, Magdalena (advisor) ; Černý, Jakub (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with teachers, teachers' organizations and their involvement in educational policy and in the creation of educational policy. Teachers are a very important actor in education policy, they are the actor on whom the success of a policy depends. Due to their importance in education policy and the whole education system, there is paid very little attention to them by researchers, and this work could begin to change and bring new ideas for further research of the teaching community. The aim of this work is to identify topics that are important for teachers' organizations representing teachers in policy-making, and describe their attitudes towards them. Another goal is to identify and describe the functioning of teachers' organizations in education policy and what role they often play in policy-making. Methodologically, the work has a mixed research design, but for the most part it is qualitative research. For meeting of goals were used methods of document content analysis and semi- structured interviews with representatives of the surveyed organizations. Research in this work has shown that teachers' organizations emphasize the topics of support and the position of teachers, the law on teachers, the revision of the framework educational programs and the employment conditions of...
Stochastic interest rates modeling
Černý, Jakub ; Witzany, Jiří (advisor) ; Hurt, Jan (referee)
Title: Stochastic interest rates modeling Author: Jakub Černý Abstract: This present work studies different stochastic models of interest rates. Theoretical part of this work describes short-rate models, HJM fra- mework and LIBOR Market model. It focuses in detail on widely known short-rate models, i.e. Vašíček, Hull-White and Ho-Lee model, and on LI- BOR Market model. This part ends by valuation of interest rate options and model calibration to real data. Analytical part of the work analyses valuation of real non-standard interest rate derivative using different models. Part of this derivative valuation is comparison among models in terms of general valuation and also in terms of capturing the dynamics of interest rates. The aim of this work is to describe different stochastic models of interest rates and mainly to compare them with each other.
Effective group elevator scheduling
Bartoš, Michal ; Černý, Jakub (advisor) ; Bálek, Martin (referee)
This work deals with effectiveness of planing algorithms controlling group of elevators. For comparing planing algorithms was created simulation software, which test its properties with regarding to setting of parameters of elevator system and building where is elevator system placed. Results of testing are compared by measured values and determinate pertinence of use of particular planing algorithm in dependency on setting of parameters. Capabilities of planing algorithm also depend on informations which can elevator system provide to it. For this reason this work also deals with elevator system itself and suggest its changes allowing planing algorithms work more effective.
Sociomap Visualization
Höschl, Cyril ; Bálek, Martin (advisor) ; Černý, Jakub (referee)
In this work we study algorithms for visualization of sociomaps. We focus on surface-fitting method which converts bitmap picture into a sequence of closed spline curves. For curve-fitting, we describe tracing algorithm that for a given level of height in a smooth surface finds a contour as a closed Bézier curve. Further we describe algorithm that draws hierarchy of clusters into a 2D plane. We first create a skeleton of the cluster analysis which we then project into a plane using curve-fitting method. We describe methods of interpolation of surface based on inverse distances weights and also we present a linear interpolation based on Delanauy triangulation. We apply these methods on sociomappig analysis. Sociomapping is a data-mining method for visualization of relations among objects as well as analyzing statistical data. The result of sociomapping analysis is an easy-to-read picture - a sociomap. We explain cluster analysis for model of a sociomap and also we describe statistical test based on fuzzy approach.
