Černá, Adéla ; Lovaš, Karol (advisor) ; Němcová Tejkalová, Alice (referee)
Sex workers belong to marginalised groups of society that the media often do not represent. Sex workers are still associated with a lack of understanding, stigma and prejudice. This bachelor's thesis aims to present the life of sex workers from a different perspective. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issue of sex work, describing the various forms of work in the sex industry, the obstacles that sex workers face and the current state of sex work in the Czech Republic. The methodological part describes the journalistic genre of the final output, i.e. the radio reportage interview and its specifics. It also explains how the practical outcome was created, including approaching the respondent, preparation for recording and the subsequent post-production. The final reportage interview is approximately thirty-seven minutes long and depicts one evening of the reporter and the sex worker. Together they show the preparation for the working evening and the actual waiting for customers. During the evening, the reporter also introduces the story of the sex worker, her life, wishes and desires. The recording includes a personal reflection of the reporter who is accompanying the interviewee the whole evening. The resulting work complements the media's portrayal of sex work from the perspective...
Posturographic training in flatbed therapy for younger school children
ČERNÁ, Adéla
The arch of the foot began to develop parallel to the transition towards an erect posture of the body to bear the weight and to absorb shocks while the foot is in contact with the ground. The human foot consists of two arches - longitudinal and transverse arch. Both start to develop as the child starts to walk. The development is finished around the pre-school age. From literature it is known that up to 80 % of inhabitants suffer from incorrect foot hold/position. One of the most common deformations of the foot appears to be flat feet. Flat feet are usually formed already in childhood. With the common causes being premature toddler footwear, fashion shoes, fast growth, and excessive physical activity etc. Posturographic techniques are methods used for measurement and treatment of qualitative and quantitate postural balance. There exist two types of posturography - static and dynamic. The theoretical part of the thesis covers the specification of foot anatomy and function, the arch of the foot, the definition of Flat feet and a brief description of therapy. It is followed by description of the posturographic function and posturographic tool, which was used during the practical part of this thesis for the therapy itself. The practical part of the thesis was processed as qualitative research where an initial examination of aspects, an interview and both a posturographic and podoscope assessment all concluded in the form of case reports, took place. Three boys, who attended the first grade of an elementary school were included in this study. They attended the posturograph therapy once a week and they went through a given set of exercises at home. First goal of this study was to observe if the posturography training included in the therapy of flat feet has an impact on the results within the children around the age of primary elementary school. The second goal was to evaluate the effect of posturography exercises on the therapy of flat feet among children. Although this thesis has not brought clear results, a slight improvement of the childrens posture could be observed. The explanation of the unclear results could be due to the small size of the test group or due to short and inefficiently intense therapy. Nonetheless some of the children were looking forward to attending the appointments and that in my opinion adds to the benefits of the overall results.

Typology and teeth determination of selected mammalian species
Černá, Adéla ; Říhová, Pavla (advisor) ; Pyszko, Martin (referee)
In this bachelor's thesis I am dealing with mammalian teeth. I have focused mainly on the teeth of certain species that are endangered and for which significant levels of illegal trade have been recorded. In selecting the species I focus on, I base my thesis on the analysis of data from the EU-TWIX and CITES Trade Database, which is compiled at the Environmental Forensic Sciences at the Faculty of Science, Charles University. The most endangered species traded include felines, canids and ursids. In this thesis, I mention how teeth can be identified, what an ideal tooth should look like, I describe what a tooth is made of, why teeth are traded at all, what they are used for, and how individual teeth can be confused with other mammal species. I also mention the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species CITES. For this research I have largely used articles from abroad, available on the Web of science. Key words: teeth, mammals, determination

Signals of anxiety in drawings of primary school children
ČERNÁ, Adéla
This bachelor thesis deals with the extent of using drawing techniques as indicative screening method for detecting increased level of anxiety and anxiousness of primary school children. The basic terminology such as anxiousness, anxiety and fear are defined in the theoretical part. The thesis focuses on the issue of anxiety and anxiousness of children attending primary schools as well as on using children's drawings as a diagnostic tool with an orientation on human body drawing. Signs of anxiety are described from different point of view of several authors in the last chapter. These signs will be further examined in the practical part. A scale for measuring degree of anxiety and anxiousness was used in the practical part. This scale served as a tool for dividing respondents into three groups. The aim of the survey was to find out the differences in human body drawing tests among respondents of different degrees of anxiety. The groups were compared in these human body drawing tests according to specific defined signs of anxiety. The results of the thesis could support measurability of anxiety signs and usage of drawing techniques in the area of children psychodiagnosis.
