Optimalizace pěstitelské technologie, ekonomických ukazatelů produkce a realizace raného zelí
Čermáková, Eliška
The first part of the thesis „Optimization of cultivation technology, economic indicators of production and realization of early cabbage“ describes the issues related to vegetable production, including a brief destription of suitable contidions for growing early cabbage. The development of prices for producers and consumers in Czech republic was monitored during the period from 2002 to 2022. The largest producers of cabbage in the European Union and in the world were idenntified for the period from 2010 to 2021. As a result of monitoring foreign trade was identified the balance. The entire thesis is linked to a specific agricultural enterprise where important marketing and economic data were collected, based on which a SWOT analysis was conducted followed by a marketing stratégy that focuses mainly on online marketing. Recommendations for improving vegetable production and increasing sales, not only for early cabbage, were derived from this analysis.
Primary prevention of eating disorders at schools and comparison of its' efficiency from the point of view of students and prevention methodologists
Čermáková, Eliška ; Chlebounová, Irena (advisor) ; Kuba, Radim (referee)
This thesis deals with eating disorders and their primary prevention. It analyzes how schools handle primary prevention of eating disorders and what effect it has on pupils and students. It pursues the question of whether the applied primary prevention of eating disorders is sufficient and whether it encompasses all necessary issues. It uncovers weak spots of eating disorder prevention and proposes a solution. With the help of the grounded theory of semi- structured interviews with students and prevention methodolodists, it tries to create an approximate model of how effective eating disorder primary prevention should look like.
The impact of a training on a children floorball player's level of motor skills
Čermáková, Eliška ; Urbářová, Eliška (advisor) ; Levínská, Kateřina (referee)
The popularity of floorball has been growing significantly. Floorball, as any other sport, is associated with certain health risks. Not only acute injuries but also chronic injuries have been connected with practicing sports. There is high risk of development of muscle imbalance, cumulative trauma disorders and chronic overuse, that negatively influence motor development of child. The aim of this diploma thesis was to evaluate the influence of corrective exercise on motor functions of young floorball players. Methodology: Two top Czech floorball teams of young boys has participated in the research. The observed group was composed of 79 players (Group A - 40 players, Group B - 39 players) aged 11 and 12 (the average age of 12,1 ± 0,6 SD). Short version of motor funciton test BOT-2 has been used to examine participants. Additional anamnestic data were used to run detailed analysis of factors influencing the test results. Results: The players of Tatran Střešovice and FbS Bohemians scored average percentiles of 63,45 ± 26,1 SD and 65,5 ± 27,8 SD respectively. That implies no impact of corrective exercise on results of motor funciton test (p = 0,74).However, the corrective exercise has decreased the risk of injury (p = 0,0183). The athletes playing for the team for more than 3 years have significantly...

Prevention of eating disorders in education Eliška Čermáková Abstrakt (EN) This study is focused on nutrition abnormalities, its formation and the factors that influence development of diseases. It tries to get an overview of the information about subject, its prezentation in the school enviroment through study materials, or during prevention programs. It helps to find out the way of prevention of nutrition abnormalities in Czech Republic, how to spred information about the right and wrong nutrition atitude among people and what prevents realization of such thing. The purpose of this work is to find new posibilities, how to prevent the spread of diseases associated with unhealthy nutrition and improper lifestyle.
Transgenic mosquitos as a tool for lower incidence of malaria
Čermáková, Eliška ; Schierová, Michaela (advisor) ; Král, Jiří (referee)
Malaria is an infectious disease causing high lethality, mainly in tropic and subtropic Africa. The disease is caused by unicellular Plasmodium and transmitted by infected Anopheles mosquito females. Genetic manipulations in mosquitos are promising approach in malaria vector control. There are two important ways of genetic manipulations in mosquitos: reduction and substitution strategies. In the former one, transgenic male mosquitos are used to achieve long term mosquito population size reduction. The aim of different substitution strategies is the production of transgenic mosquitos refractory to Plasmodium infection, unable to ensure Plasmodium development. These transgenic insects should replace the original mosquito population. Both strategies are under proposals and testing in laboratory conditions. Gene manupulations in invertebrates
Čermáková, Eliška ; Schierová, Michaela (advisor) ; Konopásek, Ivo (referee)
Gene manipulations in invertebrates are based on the same approches used in vertebrates. The are applied for the development of new genotypes in model species, convenient as model systems of human hereditary diseases etc. Gene manipulations are important as well for practical purposes, which is shown by the example of trangenic mosquitoes. Recently, it has been proved that programmable nucleases can be successfully used in invertebrates. The injury rate within top level floorball for the 2015/2016 season
Čermáková, Eliška ; Geržová, Eliška (advisor) ; Havlíčková, Michaela (referee)
In the Czech Republic, floorball is becoming popular sport for people across all age and social groups. The expansion and quality improvement of floorball should be accompanied by specific medical attention due to a high injury occurrence. Hence, this bachelor thesis is focused on the injury rate and it`s influencing factors in top-level floorball league. Methodology: 182 athletes (99 women and 83 men) from 20 floorball teams participating in the Czech top-level league were interviewed. The injury incidence as well as its occasion and consequences were investigated through non-standardised questionnaire. Concurrently, the research was focused on team`s options for regeneration, the form of corrective exercise and the level of physiotherapy provided by floorball teams. Results: The ankle sprain was the most common type of injury for men and women (p=0.0133) and presents 20.1% of all observed injuries. Women sustained more injuries than men 2.5 and 1.8 injury per person respectively. The difference of the injury rate between defenders (84.3%) and offenders (73.2%) wasn`t statistically significant (p=0.082), thus it doesn`t imply which post is more prone to injuries. The availability of physiotherapist significantly decrease the injury rate of athletes (p=0.0367). 72.6% of athletes with...
