Rights of passengers in international air transport and the influence of COVID-19 pandemic
Čermák, Filip ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Zavadilová, Marta (referee)
Rights of passengers in international air transport and the influence of COVID- 19 pandemic Abstract The thesis is devoted to the legal regulation of the relationship between passengers and air carriers in air passenger transport. The text is set in a general historical framework, which illustrates the rapid development of air transport from the 1920s to the present day, with special emphasis on the modern era. One of the aims of the study is to show how difficult it is for the legislator to respond to ongoing changes in the industry as well as unexpected events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The central theme is then the analysis of Regulation 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council, one of the most important pieces of legislation on the relationship between passengers and air carriers. The thesis presents the system of regulation enshrined in this Regulation, its strengths and weaknesses - taking into account the extensive case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union - and shows the impact of the above-mentioned pandemic in this area (the common cancellations of flights due to anti-epidemic measures led to frequent application of Regulation 261/2004 and to heated debates on some of the newly emerging controversial issues). It is pointed out that the problematic aspects of the...
Laser cleaning of technical materials
Čermák, Filip ; Joska, Zdeněk (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of the effect of laser cleaning on the surface of the base material, respectively on its surface texture. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the characteristics of laser technologies, an overview of surface cleaning methods in the field of mechanical engineering and the introduction of the company ŽLUTÉ LASERY s.r.o., that helped to create and process the assigned topic. In the practical part focused on the experiment is discussed the choice of materials, production of samples, selection of types of impurities and their application to designated areas. The main part is a description of the laser cleaning process, roughness measurement and statistical evaluation of the investigated surface roughness parameters (Ra, Rz, Rp, Rv, RSm, RPc, Sa, Sz, Sp, Sv, Spd and Spc). In the end, the processed results are evaluated and presented.
Generating simple drawings of graphs
Čermák, Filip ; Balko, Martin (advisor) ; Valtr, Pavel (referee)
In this thesis, we study the crossing numbers of complete graphs. After introducing a long history of the old problem of determining the crossing number of Kn, we survey the recent progress on the Harary-Hill conjecture by compiling proofs of this conjecture for special classes of drawings of Kn. We also create a program for generating a database of all simple drawings of Kn with n ≤ 8. We implement another program that visualizes these drawings and allows the user to create its own simple drawings of general graphs. The visualizer also captures the structure of crossings of the displayed drawings. We use our programs to verify a conjecture by Balko, Fulek, and Kynčl for small cases and we find a mistake in a paper by Mutzel and Oettershagen. 1
Thermal processes in machining of metal and non-metal materials
Čermák, Filip ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis examines the temperature processes during the machining of various materials in the form of an experimental study. The elaboration of this topic includes acquaintance with machining technologies of milling and turning, introduction to the issue of temperature processes during the machining process and their measurement. The second part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on an experiment in which the temperature is measured by a pyrometer during the machining of metallic and non-metallic materials. In the end, the measured results are evaluated and presented.

Toning before excercise
Pfeifer, Jan ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Čermák, Filip (referee)
Title: Toning before exercise Goal: The main aim of this work is to compare the exercise with the following activity with a different time interval or toning before exercise, which we can also call post-activation potentiation (PAP). Methods: In our work, we used statistical methods, a comparison method and total of our own verbal evaluations. The measurement was developed using a direct dynamic effort method. We measured the explosive strength using the Stalker ATS II sports radar, which records the speed of the dropped medicine. Throw was done in the back with a back support. Ten people from sports rugby, box, thaibox, MMA age 25-38 years were tested. We focused on the consultation with experts and coaches. Results: We sought a link between the rest interval and the resistance size for the effect of pre- activation or muscle toning. This procedure should have the effect of increasing the required performance for a certain movement or performance. Summing up the entire research section, we come to the conclusion that power upgrading and muscle toning with 85 % OM and with 6 repetitions have shown an increase in the speed of the speed of performance in all stages of rest interval. Recommended rest interval depends on strength, technical level and individual expressions. For athletes with great...
The comparison of tests parameters of Czech and world javelin throwers
Čermák, Filip ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Hojka, Vladimír (referee)
Theme: The comparison of tests parameters of Czech and world javelin throwers Aim: To compare test batteries of Czech and world javelin throwers from the past to the present time. To characterize individual javelin schools in the world and point to the differences between these schools and compare them with a Czech javelin school. Methods: Our work is mainly focused on the method of comparison. We use this method in result to answer some scientific questions. It was compared 25 elite javelin throwers in total with their average performance 88,84m. For data analysis we used basic descriptive statistics to compare differences between Czech and world javelin throwers. Further, it was also used for the method of research focused on searching of professional publications, training diaries and we also used the method of interview/dialogs between their trainers and competitors to characterize javelin schools and get tests parameters. Results: We can see from gathered results that the Czech javelin school took a different way to achieve this sport performance. That fact was shown in test results. The results of general test batteries of world javelin throwers were higher/better in average than the results of Czech javelin throwers. But the results of special test batteries of Czech javelin throwers were...

Position of audiovisual industry in economic system of Czech Republic
Čermák, Filip ; Tomek, Ivan (advisor) ; Mathé, Ivo (referee)
This diploma paper deals with defining the absolute and relative position of the audiovisual (film) industry in the economy of the Czech Republic and its devel-opment in two fields ? the total output of economic system and consumed fac-tors of production. Through comparing of shares of the film industry in these two aggregates it is possible to derive its general economic effectiveness. This definition is prefaced with explanation of needed basic economic terms, theoretical bases and methods used. In its second part the factors are examined, in case of which we can assume the influence on this position, compared to its actual development. In the last, final part the measures are proposed that could improve the position of the film in?dustry in the economy of the Czech Republic and facilitate it to overcome its current crisis ? introduction of fiscal incentives and redefining the work of the State Fund of the Czech Republic for support and development of the Czech cinematography and sources of its financing.
