Thermal phenomena in lead acid batteries
Kovařík, Lukáš ; Čech, Ondřej (referee) ; Neoral, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis project solve problematic of thermal proces in lead-acid batteries. There are decribed history of lead – acid batteries, distributions of batteries, overview of construction lead – acid batteries and VRLA batteries and is decribed thermal runaway proces and basic termal process. They are listed here practical results and the measurements is concluded.
Airport Departure Hall
Čech, Ondřej ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of steel load bearing structure of the departures hall of the airport. It is a purlin system consisting of sloping trusses of curved shape with overhangs that make up the awning above the entrance to the building. Truss to span 18 meters is welded from pipes. The steel used in the project is S355. For the design was used Scia Engineer software, in which was created a spatial model of the structure.
DMX console for stage lighting control
Schilhab, Jan ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Čech, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the question of controlling stage lighting using the DMX 512 protocol. The thesis describes the function of this protocol in details and compares several types of commercially available lighting consoles. The comparison shows some functions and features of the consoles, which are used to design the concept of the actual console. The main part of the thesis is the design of the circuit blocks of the lighting console and a description of the implementation of a functional prototype. The development of the entire control software is also an integral part. The work is concluded with an evaluation of the achieved features and functions of the implemented device.
Design and construction of a simple music synthesizer
Ondryáš, Radek ; Čudek, Pavel (referee) ; Čech, Ondřej (advisor)
This paper deals with the topic of synthesizers. The first part of the paper provides a general description of synthesizers, their history, types, and important components. The next part of this paper focuses on sound generator chip Texas Instruments SN76477, specifically it’s functionality and ways of controlling its functions. The main part of this paper is designing and creating a synthesizer around the SN76477 sound chip and creating a box for the synthesizer from laser cut plywood.
ISP Network Optimalization
Čech, Ondřej ; Podermański, Tomáš (referee) ; Grégr, Matěj (advisor)
Bachoelor's thesis is focusing on analysis of network local ISP, detecting actual problems and offering a solution for founded problems. There were problems with broadcast-storm, private address space, RSTP protocol settings and DHCP spoofing. The following changes were introduced: OSPF routing, RSTP override, automatic backup, client separation using DHCP. There has been a reduction in broadcast traffic and associated broadcast-storm.
Testing of polymeric piezoresistive materials for use in pressure sensors
Janík, Jan ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Čech, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to choose convenient piezoresistive and conductive materials for pressure sensors in the field of e-textiles. Thesis is divided into practical and theoretical part. Theoretical part deals with piezoeresistive effect itself and describes composite and piezoresistive materials. Practical part is focused on laboratory measuring resistance and capacitance of pressure materials and sensors in dependence on stress level. This part also includes practical reliability testings of conductive materials using accelerated aging testing methods.
Design of controllable heating of the spinning head and reheating of fibers with controlled air flow for devices for centrifugal spinning of nanofibers
Janošík, Lukáš ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Čech, Ondřej (advisor)
This Master thesis deals with the design and implementation of the spinning head heating for the fibers manufacturing. The first part of this thesis compares the problems of spinning head heating by means of radiant heat and electromagnetic induction. The next part of the thesis deals with the design and implementation of the selected induction heating of the spinning head together with its partial peripherals. The thesis continues with the design of a controlled air flow through the chambre and design of reheating fibers. In the following part of the thesis, functionality tests and partial measurements are performed on the device. At the end, the measurement results are evaluated and compared.
Properties of graphenoid layers
Mach, Radoslav ; Čech, Ondřej (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
Master thesis “Properties of graphenoid layers” deals with materials of graphenoid nature such as graphene, graphene oxide and its reduced state. The paper effectively summarize basic theoretical knowledge in the first half of its range. In the second half the project deals with practical part consisted of experiments with application of graphene oxide solvents, its analysis and especially comparing properties of non-reduced graphene oxide with its chemically reduced form. Material is examined in a form of applied thin layers on different substrates.
Simulation of Snow and Ice Features
Čech, Ondřej ; Polášek, Tomáš (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
This project focuses on simulation of formation of glaciers known as Penitentes. It is based on mathematical model of formation of these structures by M. D. Betterton. Implementation is done in C++ programming language, and the result is exported as bitmap image containing heightmap, which can be rendered using Blender.
Electrode Active Materials for Lithium-Ion Accumulators
Čech, Ondřej ; Oriňáková, Renáta (referee) ; Paidar,, Martin (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This doctoral thesis deals with synthesis and characterisation of electroactive electrode materials for li-ion batteries and accumulators. The work is divided into two main parts. One deals with LiFePO4 based cathode composite electroactive material and in the second is described the synthesis and utilization of monoclinic TiO2(B) as an anode for li-ion cell. The main aim of the work is to relate the synthesis procedure and structural properties of both materials to its electrochemical preformance.
