Private international law in a comparative perspective: International family law in the Czech republic and in the Federal Republic of Germany The subject matter of this thesis is a comparison of Czech and German legal regulations of international family law. I have concretely focused on a regulation of matrimonial law with an international element and on a regulation of relations connected with registered partnership containing the international element. I have chosen this subject matter because this field has not been completely unified by a legislation of the European Union and so that I can compare legal regulations in the Czech Republic and in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is a really actual theme because a new law act about international law is going to be effective from 1st January, 2014 in the Czech Republic and furthermore the Regulation Rome III governing applicable law for a severance and divorce has become effective in some member states of the EU. Also there have been designed other new Regulations regulating marital relations and relations of registered partnership with the international element. Hemostasis testing in children before ear-nose-throat surgery

Haemostasis testing in children before ear-nose-throat sugery Introduction: Haemorhagic complications in association with adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy are still a significant medical problem, despite development of surgical procedures and technology. The purpose of the preoperative coagulation tests is to identify patients with a bleeding disorder and therefore with a higher risk of bleeding. There is ongoing discussion about the most effective preoperative screening before ear-nose-throat surgery. The main aims of this study are: to find out the occurence of abnormal preoperative coagulation test results in paediatric patients before adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy, as well as to identify the most frequent causes of prolonged coagulation tests and to evaluate the influence of coagulation screening for further perioperative management. Patients and methods: Two cohorts of patients were evaluated. Cohort I.: In this prospective study coagulation tests were performed in children before adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy. A questionnaire was used for asking parents about the personal and family history of bleeding symptoms. Reconstruction of the Kozákov lava flow based on magnetic- and mineral-fabric study

Combined anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) and crystallographic studies were applied on a neogenne lava flow, for which we know the supposed flow path. Samples were studied under microscope, the minerals were analysed on microprobe, the orientation of olivine crystals was determined via EBSD and magnetic properties were studied. AMS data acquired from samples collected from representative outcrops of lava flow show weak preferred orientation of magnetite-ulvöspinel. EBSD analysis suggests only slight orientation of plagioclase in one sample. Analysed composition of olivine corresponds with mathematical model for eruption temperature and crystallization succession. Rootless cone (disorderly breccia cone) in lava body was found and desribed in the abandoned Machův lom quarry.

Project for Development of Tourism in Havlíčkobrodsko

The first part of the thesis focused on the theoretical background. The process was a literature review that explains the economic importance of tourism, demand and supply in tourism, focusing on the issues of the project and explains destination management, regional development and craftsmanship. Further was made characteristic of craft and its history. The second part consists of a field survey and the project. Field survey consisted of structured interviews and questionnaires of visitors and artisans. The structured interviews and questionnaires helped to summarize an idea of how craft fairs should be properly organized and what is their reality. The actual project consists of manual organization of traditional craft fairs and its application to the crafts market which can be organized in Ždírec nad Doubravou as the town which wants to organize this event. The project is focused mainly on the financial page, promotion and accompanying program. It means those weaknesses, which were perceived in organizing craft fairs in the Havlíčkobrodsko.

Preconditions of development of tourism in select area Havlíčkobrodsko

The aim of this thesis was to analyze tourism of the region Havlíčkobrodsko, identify the hidden potential of tourism and propose a new tourism product focused on selected segments of visitors. The first part was focused on the theoretical definition of marketing, product, destination and tourism. Moreover, a fundamental characteristics of Havlíčkobrodsko, which delineates the major attractions that are found in this area, is given. The second part consists of field survey and design of a new product. The survey was conducted in Lipnice nad Sázavou, which has good prospects of tourism. Here is the seasonality problem, the lack of secondary supply and information to visitors that could be addressed. According to the information obtained from local authority staff, Christmas and Easter Fair was designed. It is the best way to develop local tourism.
