Title: Management comparison of sports organization SK Praga Vysočany with the Norwegian sports organization LYN Fotball Goals: This thesis deals with comparison of Czech and Norwegian non-profit organizations in football area. The aim is to give suggestions for management improvement which will be based on an analysis of managerial functions (planning, organizing, selection and deploying staff, leadership, control) and on subsequent comparison of both clubs. Methods: Semi-structured interview, SWOT analysis, descriptive analysis, comparison Results: The results of this thesis are proposals for improvement in problematic areas of each club which do not work for 100 %. Suggestions for improvement involve managerial functions of planning, organizing and staffing in clubs. Suggestions are focused on sponsorship and promotion as well. Title: Marketing communication of Czech Olympic Foundation Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the current marketing communitacion in Czech Olympic Foundation and according to these knowledges to create a project presenting proposals for the improvement of the marketing communication of this organization to increase the efficiency in use of the individual parts of the communication mix and to introduce new unused instruments. Methods: For the evaluation of the marketing communication are chosen both quantitative and qualitative research methods. The method of electronic interrogation with a sample of available respondents is realized. Data collection is carried out thanks to prepared questionnaires which are sent by electronic mail to each interviewee. The method of indepth interview with the manager of the project Czech Olympic Foundation is also used to find out all current communication channels. Results: The outcome of this thesis is a proposal of the marketing communication containing new communication instruments and ways to increase the efficiency of the existing ones which are based on the analysis and evaluation of the current status of exploited marketing instruments. Title: Popularity of the sports media in the press and on the Internet - the sociodemographic profile of readers Target: The aim of thesis is to analyze the popularity of the media in sport. The thesis is focused on the sports media in the press and on the Internet and their development over the last few years. Own contribution of the thesis is the creation of socio-demographic profile of reader and exploring its relationship to sport. After that created profiles are compared to find similarities and differences. Methods: The research part of the thesis is based on analysis and processing of data from market research. Research is focused on sports media in print and on the internet, therefore is the final chapter of the research used the method of comparison that reveals differences and similarities of both types of media. The theoretical part of the thesis uses methods of analysis of documents. Results: The results of the thesis show us that print and online media experience different time and this is also reflected in the sports media. Title: Customers satisfaction with the offer of the ski resorts services Objectives: The main goal of the thesis is the determination of customers' satisfaction with the ski resorts services and to suggest an improvement on the basis of the results. The thesis' main aim is to analyse not only customers' satisfaction with the particular services and ski resorts facilities, but also the level of services' importance within the whole offer provided by the ski resort. The results from different ski resorts are subsequently compared. Methods: The thesis utilises the quantity research performed via electronic questionnaire. The particular services are evaluated by scale, which determinates the weight of the service. The hypotheses are verified by the correlational analysis. In case of comparison of results the comparative method is used. Results: The result of the thesis is the determination of the customers' satisfaction with the ski resorts services, determination of the importance of particular services and comparison of the results between the ski resorts. Title: The popularity of the sport among the general public in relations to its presentation on TV Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to determine the popularity of the sport among the general public and to compare it with its presentation on TV. The popularity and viewership of the sport is determined by questioning the public. To conduct interviews with experts on sports broadcasters from television, explaining views of sport news provided on public and commercial televisions. Final results were compared with the results of observation presentation of the sport in sport news in the thesis of Trnková (2014). The results allowed to propose recommendations which will be for use in marketing, sports and media organisations. The results will only imply a certain degree of scientific contribution. Methods: The market research of this thesis has consisted of quantitative and qualitative methods. An electronic questionnaire published on the server Vyplňto.cz, helped gather results from the public. Interviews were carried out in-depth including electronic questioning via e-mail correspondence. Title: Customer satisfaction with offer of services of golf courses in Prague and in Liberec region Objectives: The Diploma Thesis aims to make a survey of satisfaction and expectations of golf course customers in Liberec region and in the capital city Prague and to compare those regions. Customer satisfaction will be measured by means of questionnaires where each player of each golf course will compare real perceived qualities of a golf course with generally expected qualities. Based on the data obtained, the analysis of values will be carried on, such as golf handicap, age, gender and month income. The Thesis will focus on comparing the expectations and satisfaction of major golf resorts with smaller and not so popular ones. Methods: The research of customer satisfaction was carried on by already proven questionnaire consisting of SERVQUAL method. The research compared expected quality with real quality in seven golf courses in Prague and surroundings and in seven golf courses in Liberec region. Title: Establishing of a sports club as a non-for-profit organisation Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to set general managerial standards, usable as an aid while establishing a sports club as a non-for-profit organisation, and to show their practical use in the process of establishing. Five already existing sports clubs (established as non-for profit organisations) will be analysed. In the first step an analysis of documents (especially law) and analysis of the clubs will be made, followed by a situation analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, we will create a set of norms and practices, helpful for managers establishing a non-for-profit sports club. Methods: In the theoretical part, all areas necessary for establishing a sports club as a non-for-profit organisation were studied - including law, economic activities, management and marketing. Five sports clubs were chosen, intentionally at random. Document analysis has been made, using the club's articles as a source, following the situation analysis for which I have used information gathered by half-structured interviews with the clubs' representatives. Methods: To obtain the data were used qualitative research methods. It is a method of case study. Results: The team has a highly specialized organizational structure with high centralization and clearly defines the competencies of the emmployees. Title: Fitness Center Competition in the Karlovy Vary District Objectives: The bachelor thesis deals with the competitiveness of fitness centers in the Karlovy Vary district. The competitive ability of the mentioned facilities will be determined based on a marketing research with customers and employees of such facilities. The research will combine both qualitative and quantitative methods. Its findings will provide an overview of these fitness centers and they will serve as a base for creating a guide book which should ease decision making for potential customers interested in this type of services. Methods: The study is based on theoretical knowledge related to the selected topic. Marketing research based on the method of survey was one of the most frequently used methods for enquiring about customer satisfaction. Results of the individual questions of the questionnaire are shown in the graphs. Based on their interpretation was rated the state of competition of fitness centers in the district of Karlovy Vary.
