Crime of murder and killing under Section 140 and 141 of the Czech Criminal Code
Zelenka, Michal ; Hořák, Jaromír (advisor) ; Pelc, Vladimír (referee)
The title of the thesis: Crime of murder and manslaughter under section 140, 141 of the criminal code Abstract: This thesis focuses on the offences of murder and manslaughter under sections 140 and 141 of Act No. 40/2009 Coll., The Criminal Code. The crimes of murder and manslaughter are classified among the most serious crimes against life and both of these crimes can be subsumed under the broader term of intentional killings. The aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the crimes of murder and manslaughter, with particular emphasis on demonstrating the fundamental differences between these offences and also what makes the offence of manslaughter a privileged offence over the offence of murder. The aim of this thesis is also, among the other things a brief excursion and comparison of the differences between the domestic legislation of these offences and the English legislation. The first part of the thesis deals with the development of the legal framework of intentional killings in the Czech Republic from the time of Great Moravia until the adoption of the current Criminal Code. Increased attention is then paid to the most important legal regulations, whether of later or more recent date. The second part of the thesis deals with the general characteristics of the individual...
Calculation and Measurement of Thermostatic Bimetal Deflection in Molded Case Circuit Breaker
Zelenka, Michal
This paper deals with a thermal overload trip unit in automatically operated electrical switching devices. The first part describes an application of thermostatic bimetal in thermal overload trip unit. The main part is devoted to analytical calculation and measurement of specific thermostatic bimetal type contained in thermal trip unit of molded case circuit breaker. It is measurement of deflection depending on temperature change using photoelectric laser sensor. The analytical results are compared with the measured results at the end of the paper.
Thermal overload trip unit in electrical switching devices
Marek, Stanislav ; Šimek, David (referee) ; Zelenka, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis revolves around a time dependent thermal overload trip unit inside automated switching mechanisms. The first part addresses the principle of the function of a thermal overcurrent trip unit and the possible construction solutions. The biggest emphasis is given to bimetal as a base construction feature of the thermal overcurrent trip unit. Besides the materials that are most suitable for the creation of bimetal, various bimetal parameters that are needed for its design are also analyzed. The next subject of the thesis is an introduction to the elemental calculations for the bimetal component and the summary of mathematical relations for the calculation of the most commonly used solutions. A predominant part of this thesis revolves around the theoretical calculation of the thermal overload trip in a previously estabilished circuit breaker for a specific type of the bimetal and a specific required tripping characteristic. The previously estabilished calculation is then verified by measuring. The measuring itself consists of the measurement of the free bending of the bimetal in dependence on heat. The last part of this thesis includes the assessment of the results calculated from the theoretical standpoint, compared with the results given by the measurement.
Electric arc heating
Kahoun, Karel ; Zelenka, Michal (referee) ; Šimek, David (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with an arc heating in industrial applications. In this paper, there is described laboratory equipment for the generation of electric arc. Thesis also contains theoretical analysis of heat transfer from the arc to nearby object. The main part of the thesis is devoted to experimental measurement of heat transfer from the arc to the nearby object in relation to the electrical power and the surface finish of the object.
Requirements and solution of household electrical installation
Zelenka, Michal ; Dostál, Lukáš (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the electrical installation in a family house. The first part of this thesis serves as a basis for a project of electrical installation in the family house. The thesis presents the most important requirements for the household electrical installation in accordance with applicable czech technical standards. The thesis further describes the most important methods of protection, especially protection against overcurrent and protection against electric shock. The next part is devoted to proposal of specific project of household electrical installation in accordance with applicable technical standards. The project of the electric installation is checked by calculation at the end of the thesis.
Analysis of a bimetal release
Zelenka, Michal ; Augusta, Zbyněk (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with the thermal overload trip unit in automatically operated electrical switching devices. The first part of this thesis serves as a basis for a design of thermostatic bimetal element in electrical switching device. The thesis presents important parameters and calculation principles needed for the design of bimetal element. The thesis further describes the operating principle of thermal trip unit and its possible design solutions. The main part is devoted to analytical calculation and measurement of specific thermostatic bimetal type contained in thermal trip unit of molded case circuit breaker. It is measurement of force and deflection, depending on temperature change. In the next part a numerical model of the bimetallic strip was created and its deflection was simulated. The analytical results are compared with the measured and simulated results at the end of the thesis.
