Takácsová, Markéta ; Vostatková, Pavlína (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
Title: Assessment of training and performance development of the athlete Objectives: The aim of this study was to analyze and evaluate the performance development of a sprinter who switched to athletics from another sport at the age of 17. The work focuses on the analysis of sports preparation, the evaluation of performance development in the athletic disciplines of 60 m and 100 m and the identification of key factors influencing his sports success. Methods: The study used the method of content analysis of training diaries from the RTC, in which the assessed sprinter achieved a personal best in the 100 m run. This is the RTC 2012/2013. General training indicators and special training indicators for sprints in athletics were obtained from the training diaries and subsequently evaluated. These training indicators were compared with the recommended values for the male category according to Kampmiller et al., (2002). Results: The analysis of the training diaries showed that the monitored sprinter P. B. exceeded the recommended values for the volume of strengthening with equipment and several times also for rebounding exercises. It shows comparable values with the recommended ones for maximum speed volume, speed endurance and special running exercises. We record a significantly lower volume in the case...

Thema works: Evaluation of body parameters and performance of elite word-class female hurdlers in the period 2003 - 2022 Aims: The main objective of this study is to compare and evaluate the accumulated results of female finalists in the 100 m hurdles from 2003 to the present, covering a period of 20 years, followed by a comparison of performances in the Olympic Games and world Championships. A secondary objective is to record basic body parameters (height, body weight and Body Mass Index) of the finalists in individual global sporting events (Olympic Games and world Championships). Methodology: We focused on comparing and evaluating the accumulated data of female finalists in the 100m hurdles from 2003 to 2022 in the World Championships and Olympic Games. From each World Championship and Olympic Games, we selected the finalists of the 100 m hurdles (the fastest 8 athletes). We collected information on the WCH, OH, times, rankings, and anthropometric characteristics (height, body weight, and Body Mass Index). Furthermore, we processed the data based on basic statistical characteristics, particularly mean, standard deviations, minimum and maximum values of the performances. We compared all of this data among each other. In the supplementary section, we created tables that serve as source data, while...

Title: Analysis of general physical performance of athletes aged 14 to 15 years in Sports Centres in 2019-2022 Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to investigate whether there has been a significant deterioration in the performance of athletes in the older youth category (14-15 years old) between 2019 and 2022. This period was exceptional in that an extraordinary event occurred in the Czech Republic, namely the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, which halted social life and closed sports clubs. Methods: Microsoft Excel was used to process the data file provided by the Czech Athletic Association. The statistical software IBM SPSS Statistics was used for statistical operations, tests and graphs. In addition, tests of normality, homogeneity of variances and comparisons of results of correlation analyses, analyses of variance and partial post-hoc tests were used. Results: Based on the analysis of the dataset of athlete testing results in the Sports Centres it was found that, between 2019 and 2022, there was a significant deterioration in general movement performance in all categories studied, particularly in the male and female student categories aged 14 to 15 years. Thema works: Comparison of the annual training cycle in the selected Czech elite women in sprinting Student: Pavlína Vostatková Supervisor: Dr. Aleš Kaplan, Ph.D. Aims: The aim of this study was to analyze the annual training cycle (RTC) in selected Czech elite women sprinters, in which the maximal performance in 100 m run was reached, and to compare the uniform training system and recommendations for sprinters of comparable level of performance with the reality of the training program of selected sprinters. The analysis focused on methodological procedure, application of selected special training indicators (STU), their volume and intensification in various stages of sports training. Methodology: The content analysis of training diary was used as a method of the thesis, in particular the annual training cycle, in which the sprinters achieved personal maxima in 100 m run. Thus RTC 1996/1997 and 1992/1993 in sprinter P. V. and H. B. were analyzed, respectively. In the training diaries selected general training indicators (OTU) and STU for sprinters in athletics were obtained and reviewed. Model values for the age category of 21-23 sprinters (Moravec, Hlína a kol., 1984) were used in the comparison of selected OTU and STU of the selected sprinters. The model values for the 19-year-old sprinter H. B....

Most female athletes (78%) suffer from premenstrual syndrome, which has significant symptoms and these can subsequently affect the training process. Cases of amenorrhea associated with high training doses were identified in the respondents. Problems with the menstrual cycle most occur sprinters, endurance athletes and multi-combatants. Difficulties with the menstrual cycle (MC) are most commonly manifested by irregular menstruation and an unnaturally painful course of menstruation. 94% of female athletes do not use any contraception. Only 3% of respondents regularly adjust the training process to their...
