Activisitional activities in selected retirement homes in Vysočina Region
Vaňková, Martina ; Zvírotský, Michal (advisor) ; Thorovská, Alena (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with activisitional and leisure activities in three selected retirement homes in the Vysočina Region. Specifically, it concerns SeniorCentrum SeneCura Humpolec, Domov Jeřabina Pelhřimov and Domov důchodců Proseč-Obořiště. The aim of the thesis is to describe activities offered in these retirement homes and which of them are most frequently used by the clients, or what activities would clients welcome in the offer. Furthermore, the aim is to compare the offer of the activities and their use. The theoretical part introduces the basic terms related to this issue. The practical part first describes and then compares the three selected facilities. The last part of the thesis is the research, which was conducted qualitatively, using semi-structured interviews with clients of the selected facilities. The results of the research showed that clients in the selected retirement homes most often participate in physical activities, canis therapy, music therapy and occasional outdoor sessions. The range and use of activities did not differ much between facilities, with unique differences highlighted in the thesis.
Evaluation of nitrogen balance with respect to the administered parenteral and enteral nutrition and the composition of the body in critically ill patients
Vaňková, Martina ; Hronek, Miloslav (advisor) ; Havel, Eduard (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to identify and assess the nitrogen balance due to the field of nutritional support, body composition, energy expenditure, utilization of nutritional substrates and their changes during the hospitalization. Nitrogen balance was determined in 12 men and one woman (age 44 ± 16,4 years) with multiple injuries (ISS 40 ± 11) in the ICU based on 2 measurements in the time interval of 1-7 days, as the difference between the received and the ecrected nitrogen. The energy expenditure and nutritional substrate utilization nutritional indirect calorimetry, body composition analysis and blood chemistry laboratory were examined at patients. Correlation analysis revealed dependence between nitrogen balance and other monitored parameters and also dependence on the length of their trauma. Total protein intake averaged 1,40 ± 0,69 g.kg-1 .d-1 . At this dose were recorded negative values of nitrogen balance in the first measurement of the 9-patients and in the second measurement of the whole group. In this work also the results of uptake of parenteral and enteral route were compared. In practice, significant correlations were found between total uptake and energy expenditure (p = 6,31.10-3 ; r = 0,6) in the first measurement, and on the other hand negative correlation during the second...
Credit issue.The Czech Republic Case.
Vaňková, Martina ; Jakubík, Petr (advisor) ; Václavík, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis deals with the development of the credit to private non-financial sector in the Czech Republic in the course of 1993 - 2008. The main purpose of this thesis was to analyse whether the non-financial private sector credit volume in the Czech Republic was excessive in the period under review. In order to do this, the equilibrium relation was estimated as based on the panel data for selected Euro zone countries. Accordingly, the out-of-sample estimate of the steady state of the ratio of non-financial private sector credit to GDP was done for the Czech Republic and selected CEE countries. A comparison of the actual non-financial private sector credit volumes and the estimated steady state has not proved an excessive indebtedness of non-financial private sector in the Czech Republic.

Alternative use of Szondi test
Vaňková, Martina ; Bahbouh, Radvan (advisor) ; Šípek, Jiří (referee)
The thesis analyzes the Szondi's test and its theory in the light of current knowledge. Its aim is to examine the potential of this diagnostic method and to consider the possibilities of its application. On the basis of the free-association research, the direction of interest has divided into two studies. The first of them verifies the relationship of Szondi's theory with personal characteristics that are attributed to individual photos (stimulus material) on the scale of the semantic differential. In most cases, the results confirm significant differences between the factors. In the second study, the narrative approach is selected, it means "telling stories" method will be used for discover the projective potential. Qualitative analysis indicates that stories have some similarities- in the context of given factors, however, in most cases, they do not follow Szondi's assumptions. In order to confirm the potential of the possibility to know the proband's personality or life, the data obtained has not proved sufficient. The data does suggest, however, that after further research, the benefit of its application could be confirmed. KEY WORDS: Szondi test, projection, semantic differential, stories analysis
