Linear prediciton and cepstral synthesis of speech signal in the TTS system
Mekyska, Jiří ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (referee) ; Smékal, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with a linear prediction and cepstral synthesis of speech signal in the TTS (Text-to-Speech) systems with the opportunity of modeling the prosody. The work contains a description of speech signal in acoustic and phonetic plane, the principle of speech production and the way we can figure the speech signal in time and frequency domain. Next, there is the TTS block structure mentioned, whereas each block has its own detailed description. In the work, the modeling of prosody using the three most important suprasegmental features (fundamental tone, continuation and speech intensity) is also described. At the end of this work, there is a design and realization of universal Czech TTS system which is based on the speech synthesis in frequency domain. This system is implemented in program MATLAB.
Navigation systems
Jirkovská, Šárka ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (referee) ; Pust, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on the navigation systems GPS, Galileo and their development. The work describes the functions and parameters of mentioned navigation systems including individual modulation techniques, used frequencies and signal securing by encoding. Segments of navigation systems GPS and Galileo, which divide into control and space parts, are mentioned next. The principle of signals generation by GPS system satellites, where the navigation message is the basis of user´s data transfer, is introduced. The principle of generation of the navigation message is described as well as its structure and characteristics of used CA-code and P-code. Next part of the work presents the components of the Galileo navigation system satellites and conspectus of planned services of this system. The summary of used receivers’ characteristics and summary of selected producers of digital geographical data for navigation devices follow next. The last part mentions the simulation of signal generation of GPS satellite. The simulation includes encoding and decoding of navigation message. This simulation is created in Matlab version 7.4 environment.
Remote control of FPGA-based embedded system
Král, Jan ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor’s project looks into the development of a part of Digitizer embedded system. The design is focused on the usage of FPGA-based processor managing the remote control operations and on the achievement of the sufficient bitrate for transmitting data to the ethernet network. The project summarizes used solutions and evaluates their applicability in the developed system. Matching concepts of solved problems are designed properly; in most cases they associate positive properties of used solutions. The implementations of MicroBlaze processor system and chosen modules were performed into the target device and the desired characteristics were measured with successful outcome.
Legal Regulation of the Special Instruments of the Air Protection
Filípek, Zdeněk ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Fabšíková, Tereza (referee)
Legal Regulation of the Special Instruments of the Air Protection The topic of this diploma thesis is special instruments of the air protection. In the first chapter the author deals with air protection from a more general point of view. The next chapter focuses on the National Emissions Reduction Programme of the Czech Republic. The National Emission Reduction Programme has its origins in European law. It consists of an analysis of pollution and pollution levels, scenarios for the development of the situation, the objectives of the programme, a description of specific measures and their expected benefits, the responsible authorities and indicators for assessing the implementation of the programme. Air quality improvement programmes are the subject of the third chapter. Theoretically, they should...
