Personnel-psychological diagnostics of golden profiler of personality

The presented diploma thesis offers possibilities and limits of using the Golden Profiler of Personality (GPOP) in the context of personnel psychology. Attention is devoted to general methodological principles of psychological assessments, their contribution to personnel practice focusing on recruitment process and the discussion about increasing efficiency of selection process less mentally demanding and responsible positions. The theoretical part is mainly dedicated to the method GPOP, which in its core is based on the Jung's theory of psychological types, which has stimulated development of the questionnaire MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), and the Five-factor personality theory. Combining two completely different approaches it comes into being an assessment able to interpret on the one side, the uniqueness of personality, and on the second side its resemblance to a certain type. In the practical part, the psychometric characteristics of the questionnaire completed by 524 selected respondents are analyzed and evaluated. Reliability of the global scales is estimated of Cronbach`s alpha interval 0.8 to 0.9. Correlation analysis and exploratory factor analysis clearly support the expected construct of GPOP. Work enagement in the context of the company culture

The diploma thesis deals with company culture and work engagement and it aims to explore the relationship between these two concepts in the field of psychology of work and organization. The theoretical part describes in detail the topic of company culture, its relationship with other aspects of the work environment and the possibility of measuring it with a focus on the Competitive Value Model (CVF). The next part presents work engagement, methods of its measurement, connection to work behaviour and other consequences. The empirical part presents quantitative research, in which answers were collected from 126 respondents who came from 10 different companies. The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between company culture and engagement at the individual level. The Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) was used to examine company culture, and the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) was used to obtain information on the level of engagement. The hypotheses verified the existence of a relationship between engagement and individual types of company culture and the difference between the degree of engagement concerning the dominant type of company culture. Effective Persuative Techniques and Factors Used by Propaganda and Disinformation Resources

The topic of persuasion becomes current these days, with a permanent stream of information, from whose is hard to pick the true ones. Every one of us gets to know the world according to certain figures of selective perception, that permit us to see the world according to our beliefs. My work aims to find the answer on several questions about the use of persuasion in propagandistic and disinformation media a make a basic overview of this topic. The answer to these questions is important to know, so we can get about this world, where "lie" is called "alternative truth". To write my thesis, I used academic journals, articles, and studies. In the theoretical part, I introduce the topic and its importance and define the keywords of my work. Next, I describe the topic of attitude change, its models and factors that intervene in the persuasion process on the side of the source, message, and the receiver. The last is propaganda and dezinformation and its techniques used in the environment of the new media. The draft of my research project has a qualitative design. Career choices of men and women

Bachelor thesis deals with the factors responsible for the different vocational choices between men and women, which then manifest in the uneven distribution of both genders in specific fields of human labour. The goal of this thesis is to create an overview of psychological theories pertaining to the motivational forces behind the vocational choices, while also explaining its distinction. The literary overview part of the text tends to the clarification of the terms from the areas of gender studies and vocational psychology, both of which are closely related to the topic of this thesis. The following part offers a peek into the Czech labour market, as well as foreing labour markets, with the intent of showing the disparity between the gender distribution in specific areas with statistical data. The main body of this work comprises of psychological theories which offer explanation of the motivational factors behind the vocational choice with regard to gender as one of the main agents. In the second part of this thesis comes a research project design in the form of a qualitative, semi-structured interview with students that took part in an incongruent gender-vocational choice, to get an insight into the introspective perception of their experience.
