Design and analysis of three-phase induction motor
Svoreň, Jan ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This project is focused to projecting and analysing the three-phase induction machine. It starts with introduction to principle functions of electrical machines and their design issues. The main objective is to develop a method to calculate and analysis a smaller machine. The design involves the calculation of the main dimensions of the machine, the calculation of the number and dimensions of the rotor and stator grooves and calculation of the stator windings. Designed machine is analysed by calculation and finite elements method.
Mechanical Torque Analysis of Induction Machine Based on Magnetic Circuit Saturation
Skalka, Miroslav ; Bendl,, Jiří (referee) ; Voženílek, Petr (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
e main goal of this thesis is mechanical torque analysis of induction machine based on magnetic circuit saturation, oversaturated areas classification and the possibility of oversaturated areas reduction of their influence on machine properties. Whole problem is solved by finite element method in ANSYS program. Work is divided into the description and creating of electromagnetic model, a method of the induction machine equivalent circuit parameters determination, the electromagnetic field calculation by finite element method, experimental measurement using LabVIEW program with measurement accessories (PCIe card National Instruments), data processing program in DIAdem, results analysis of calculations in terms of magnetic circuit saturation, the influence of magnetic circuit material based on electromagnetic field distribution and the magnetic flux density along the air gap including spectral analysis using MATLAB and the electromagnetic torque and its parasitic torque components calculation.
Magnetic field mesurement on electrical machines
Manduch, Viliam ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Mikulčík, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with magnetic field and the principles on which sensors for it´s measuring are based on. The following part of the bachelor work investigates the distibution of magnetic field in the environs of asynchronous engine. Analysis is evaluated with the assistance of graphical processing of measured values and a part of the analysis is also the comparison of this values with the values calculated with assistence of the method of final compoments in program FEMM.
Cable faults detection and layout
Marek, Tomáš ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on tracing cables stored in the ground. Determination of the depth, prelocation of cable defects, determination of exact point of the defect. This thesis gives review of different methods of tracing and prelocation of different types of defects and select the best method for their location. Bachelor´s thesis describes in detail different possibilities of tracing and prelocation of cable defects.
Design of industrial wiring system
Kytlica, Josef ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Skalka, Miroslav (advisor)
This project deals with problems of industrial installation for luminous and drawer circuit and technological (motor driven) system also. Then is been described a technological system for connection and control problem of electrical machine. Then is described a drawing documentation includes disposal whole object, electrical machine connection into the switchboard, control boxes and control system. The next part contains a power circuit distribution from switchboard to all facilities including control system. The power circuit is shown in drawing documentation by the single-line diagram and the line scheme for control circuit. The technological equipments distribution includes main switchboard with cable trays are shown in disposition. In the technical report is described a whole project which advert on valid specification of ČSN.

Kůta, Aleš ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
Nowadays a need of numerical computations of different tasks in the area of electrical engeneering is still rising. Common denominator of great demands given on a constructor and ecomonization of manifacturing is a requirement of efficiency. It´s necessary to use a characterictics of construction, own fundamentals and unique attributes of product. Application of Finite Element Method is possible solution which accombines abilities and knowledge of user in consecutive to complexity of computatio. This enables a use of the most optimal solution. This thesis describes a principals of Direct-Current motor and its´ special design: Direct Inductor motor with extrinsic excitation (permanent magnests). It presents a operation of wiper motor in consecutive to wiping systém and fulfillment of engeneering standards. It also describes a principles of Finite Element Method in context to basics of simulation program FEMM. Main attention is given to creation of concrete model and to simulation of gauged exercise with wiper motor. Also there is a second simulation of motor, focused to different type of stator excitation. Findings of thesis is a comparation of theese exercises. Consecution of modeling in software environment is described. It compiles gauged excercise and interprets them.
Simulation models of electromagnetic fields in electric machine
Michailidis, Petr ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This project is dealing with simulation´s posibilities of elektromagnetic fields in elektric machines. A finite element method is the final element technique. The content of this project is a model creation and elektromagnetic simulation of asynchronous machine.
Special induction machine as source of electric energy
Dušek, Jiří ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Skalka, Miroslav (advisor)
This work deals with description of an induction machine principles for both of motor and generator operations. Then is been described a special kind of an induction generator working into an isolated system. The construction of an induction generator was designed with two stator winding connection due to possibility of the variable number of pole pairs. Also there is an excitation capacity design for self-excitation. Last part of this work contains the measurement of an induction generator with different values of excitation capacity and both terminal clamps connection.
Magnetic field analysis of synchronous machine
Volf, Tomáš ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Skalka, Miroslav (advisor)
The Magnetic Field Analysis Project of Synchronous Machine deals with program for magnetic field analysis of synchronous machine cross section. This program is written in detail along with the necessary theory of synchronous machine and the ANSYS program. After this the program for using different types of sectional wires modification is made – in the concrete for round conductors. It is attained the numeric computing method – The Finite Element Method. To creation of the magnetic field simulation serves ANSYS program, which uses The Finite Element Method.
Calculation of the cooling medium in the asynchronous
Trnka, Zbyněk ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
The aim of this master´s thesis was to model the fan for the induction motor, and then to solve this model using Ansys CFX in the terms of flow, when considering the different speeds of rotation of the rotor. The introduction of this work is dedicated to basic terms and definitions from spheres of fluid flow, cooling of the electrical machines, especially to the cooling of the asynchronous machine. There is also attention paid to losses in this machine. Finally, there is modeled radial fan and an air gap of specified induction machine. By using Ansys CFX the flow, which passes from the fan into the air gap, is analyzed.
