Use of Neurodynamics as a Method of Treatment for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Strnadová, Hana ; Táborská, Silvie (advisor) ; Senetyčová, Miroslava (referee)
This Bachelor's Thesis deals with the possibility of using nervous system mobilization when treating carpal tunnel syndrome within the physiotherapeutic intervention in terms of conservative treatment. The theoretical part of the work concerns anatomical and kinesiological aspects of hand and wrist. It also describes nervus medianus, entrapment neuropathy and introduces the neurodynamics method. The practical part focuses on application of this method in two patients, who suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome and who are subject to conservative treatment. The objective of the Thesis is to examine whether and how the symptoms change and if the articular range in active motion of wrist to flexion, extension and radial and ulnar duction will be influenced. After the therapy, both patients proved change in sensation symptoms, and for one of them, articular range in wrist improved. Key words: mononeuropathy, nervus medianus, carpal tunnel syndrome, neurodynamics.
Functional disorders of motion system, their diagnosis and therapy- lumbar spine
Baxová, Dana ; Břízová, Marie (advisor) ; Senetyčová, Miroslava (referee)
The aim of my bachelors work was to describe the formation of functional disorders of the motion system in details in the theoretical part. There have also been described the most commonly used methods of therapy of the functional disorders. For each individual method of therapy are given the theoretical principles of the method, indications and contraindications, examples of exercises and practice exercises, advantages and disadvantages of the method. In the practical part was performed clinical examination and then was developed casuistry in selected patient. Patients were selected in the Department of Rehabilitative Medicine. Therapy was conducted with two patiens one and half months. Each patient had six respectively seven therapies. In the beginning patients were examined, then was conducted therapy in which were used methods described in the theoretical part. There is described the way of walking with poles for different terrains and with different difficulty. There is also compared the work of chosen muscles during the classic walking and Nordic walking. There is also described an anatomy of hip join, his illness and physiotherapy. The practical part describes the methodology of research. The aim of the research was to confirm the utility of Nordic Walking in physiotherapy. The work includes two case reports of patients with diseases of the hip, the therapy, a questionnaire and Footscan measuring. The research results show that Nordic Walking has therapeutic effects on the physical and mental aspects of man. Key words Nordic Walking, hip joint, Footscan

Physiotherapy in patients with Spina bifida
Kamarýtová, Jitka ; Senetyčová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Kohoutová, Hana (referee)
The purpose of my bachelor thesis is to sum up the findings related to spina bifida and to list opportunities of using physiotherapeutic approaches and methods in individual forms of this development congenital disorder. The thesis is divided in two parts - practical and theoretical. In the theoretical part, I tried to sum up the information gathered and these were then applied in the practical part. I provided a detailed explanation of different types of spina bifida as the surgery treatment and physiotherapeutic intervention depend on the clinical picture of individual forms of this disorder. In the practical part, my focus was the application of concrete physiotherapeutic approaches and methods in selected patients suffering from spina bifida.
