Theatre of Slovácko II
Schleider, Jan ; Vorel, Jiří (referee) ; Sládeček, Svatopluk (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the contemporary theatre building in the context of the city centre of regional character. The project presents a typologically extensive theatre operation in architectural form which, despite the importance of the building, does not by its scale disturb the spatial arrangement and context of the selected locality. The present Slovácko Theatre currently has two scenes in two different buildings that were not originally built as theatre buildings. The design of the new building is supposed to replace the provisional structures. My design of the new Slovácko Theatre building has the ambition to represent a distinctive theatre of modern operation, corresponding to the importance and capacity of the town of Uherské Hradiště. After extensive preparation and study of theatre architecture in the Czech Republic, with the application of spatial analyses and theatre typology, it was the location near the city centre that I evaluated as the most suitable for the construction of the new Slovácko Theatre.
Completion of a city block Urban development study of a city block between the streets Koliště, Cejl a Vlhká
Schleider, Jan ; Nový, Vítězslav (referee) ; Františák, Luboš (advisor)
The goal here is completition of a city block near Cejl street, Koliste street and Vlhka street in Brno. The parcel is located on the city ringstrasse and is very close to the historical part of Brno. Only two buildings were disigned more to the depth. The rest is only part uf the urban design development. A bigger problem was the fact taht Koliste street is a very noisy and poluted street due to the amount of cars. The crossroad is designed only for 3 traffic line instead of 4 lines in one direction. (2other lines in the opposite direction remain) In the whole area there has been a big rise in the amount of trees. In the courtyard there is a underground parking lot which makes a platform for the residents. In Vlhka street where now is a not a very good green area is designed a smaller square. Thi is for the Vlhka street has a big potencial to become a nice , quiet and intimite street. There's no monofunction in the Koliste buildings. On the ground floor there are some shop and in some buildinds we can find administration parts on higher floors. After those there are apartments. Between both streets is designed a nice passage way.
