Intelligent Control of Traffic Lights
Skoták, Miloš ; Samek, Jan (referee) ; Malačka, Ondřej (advisor)
In this thesis is analyzed Multi-Agent system for intelligent control of traffic lights. For the simulation of a real situation was implemented a simulator of a traffic situation written in Java language, which is based on a cellular automata. In Multi-Agent system can be found not only communication between the agent and environment, but also communication among agents. To implement the rules was used extended AgentSpeak language model based on BSD with Jason interpreter. Experiments were done on a real road section in the city Brno.
User Decision and the Paradox of Choice in WWW
Smolík, Jakub ; Malačka, Ondřej (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the theory of decision making of web users. Therefore, it analyzes theories of phenomena such as the paradox of choice with closer focus on the concept of usability in applications. Based on previous theories, the work describes the selection, revision and testing of specific web application in context with term of the usability. The thesis also analyzes the methodology, procedures, measurement results and conclusions of testing. As a result, there were made few general recommendations for designers of internet applications that can help in the process of designing more usable systems.
Social Network Analysis and Simulations
Vorlová, Pavla ; Král, Jiří (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focusing on description of processing social network analysis, design and implementation of a model that simulates a particular social network and its analysis. Social networks are modern and very used in this time. They are very good point for exploring. This project deal with static analysis social network, where social network is constructed by graph. We nd out di erent properties of single component and than we establish signi cance of them. Relationships between components are important too for us, because they have a big influence on propagation information in network. Structural properties figure out existence of di fferent communities. We simulate social network with multi-agent systems, they are desirable for represent changes in network. Multi-agent systems have implemented a simulation model that represents a particular social network. His behaviour was analyzed and examinated by chosen methods.
Mozilla as a Development Platform
Vídeňský, Martin ; Schäfer, Jiří (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with introduction of Mozilla as a development platform. Thesis is divided into four parts. Online Tool for Monitoring and Processing of Searching Engine Results
Sedlář, Petr ; Samek, Jan (referee) ; Martínek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this work was to design and implement the application that is easily, quickly and effectively able to determine the position in the www search engines based on the given World Wide Web pages and theirs key words. The application is accessible by the web interface and it enables comparison of the position statements from the archives, comparison of the graph outputs, as well as sending of PDF format files containing regular results statements. Together with the position it is stored the number of references of particular word in the search engine. Furthermore, it is possible to display also the position changes compared with the former statements. As stated above, it is possible to store the outputs in the PDF format documents and therefore it is easy to shore the entire development in your personal computer, in case online system is insufficient.

TMC Displaying on WEB
Kučírek, Tomáš ; Samek, Jan (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
The main goal of my bachelor´s work have been creation and evolution of the programm, which would be capable to process radio broadcasting of the RDS channel an TMC event. Another step was creation of the website, which would be able to feature these information, either textually and topografically. Theoretically I was concerned to RDS-TMC standard and detailed elaoboration of the TMC event. This aplication was finally succesfully tested and gained results compared to another interner sources.
