The Youth Unemployment in the European Union with Focus on the Czech Republic

The thesis is focused on the issue of youth unemployment in the European Union, with the greatest emphasis on the Czech Republic. The main objective of my thesis is to evaluate and recommend suitable practices that would contribute to cut down the youth unemployment rate in the Czech Republic. The most important methods I used in my thesis are scientific description and induction. I have also used a lot of statistical data that is tied to both the Czech and the European labour market. The bachelor thesis is divided into three chapters, the first of which is devoted to the introduction of the issue and specifics of the groups of people endangered with unemployment. The second chapter deals with the unemployment of young people in the European Union, the causes and effects of unemployment and development in the Member States. The last chapter focuses primarily on the unemployment among young people in the Czech Republic, its development and practices against unemployment. In conclusion, I evaluate that the practices implemented by both the European Union and the Czech Republic have a positive impact on the situation of young people on the labour market in the Czech Republic. However, it is not possible to say with certainty which practices are the most beneficial, since it also depends on external influences and the overall state of the economy. Overall, however, I have evaluated as beneficial those practices that contribute to the development of young people personalities, skills and their potentials. This can be achieved mainly through training courses, counselling, and providing of internships and professional practices. As a recommendation to the future, I am suggesting to keep deepening the current efforts to support groups of people who are disadvantaged on the labour market, while focusing particularly on education, work experience and skills improvement.

Entry of Czech company on Chinese bio and nanotechnogy market

Goal of this thesis is to identify best way of entry for Czech company on Chinese market with bio and nanotechnologies and evaluate bio and nanotechnology industry in China. Goal of a thesis will be acomplished through analysis, synthesis and collection of data from available sources including information from members of bio and nanotechnology company Nafigate, which decided to enter Chinese market itself in year 2011. The work is divided into three chapters. First chapters defines bio and nanotechnologies and deals with their development in world and China. Second chapter is dedicated to analyze Chinese market and entry conditions for foreign company. The third chapter describes experience of Nafigate company with entry on chinese market with bio and nanotechnologies and in the end of the chapter we find recommendations for possible market entry.

The impact of CAP on czech agricultural system

The diploma thesis looks into the impact of the Common Agricultural Policy of the EU on agrarian sector of Czech Republic. The target of this diploma thesis is to determine wheter the accession within the EU and application of the CAP policies has had positive or negative influences on Czech agriculture. The first chapter, explains the craetion, targets and principles of the CAP. Next, discusses reforms and changes that influences Czech Republic, and describes how is the system financed thorought history. The chapter that follows, is about Czech agriculture sector. It's analyses it's development after 1989 and the agricultural policy before and after EU accession. The final and last chapter shows tangible financial payments from EU to the Czech Republic. Financial payments are divide into direct payments and rural development. Income Inequalities in Hong Kong

Diploma thesis deals with income inequalities in Hong Kong. The main objective of the thesis is to describe and discuss administrative arrangement (´one country two systems´model), main problems of social system in Honng Kong. Based on this, income inequalities in the territory are described. The minor aim is to prove or disprove the negative correlation between income inequalities and economic growth in case of Hong Kong. The above trends are being described in world context as well and are being compared between each other.

State and development of balance of payments of Germany

This thesis focuses on development of balance of payments of Germany, especially on three important historical periods: the international fixed exchange rate system, the unification of Germany and the adoption of euro. The first part of every chapter is based mainly on an economic theory and serves as an introduction to the topic at the same time. In the second part there is a detailed analysis of the balance of payments accounts as well as an analysis of the balance of payments in general at the given period of time and in relation to the given historical events. The first chapter revolves around the international fixed exchange rate system and describes related phenomena. This chapter is little bit different and serves mainly as a theoretical introduction designed to clarify some important economic theorems which are relevant to the following chapters as well. The first half of the second chapter consists in economic aspects of the unification and focuses mainly on the problematic of capital and salary level. In the second half there is a detailed analysis of the international economic relations of the country. The introductory part of the third chapter concerns the development that led to the common European currency as well as some important macro and microeconomic aspects of the euro adoption. Finally there is an analysis in terms of balance of payments of the new common currency establishment.

Brain drain in Russia – evolution, impacts and possible solutions

The aim of this thesis is to identify the current situation and main reasons of brain drain in Russia, derive the consequences of intellectual emigration and propose possible ways of solving this problem. The work is divided into 3 chapters. The first chapter describes basic concepts connected with the problem of brain drain, then the empirical analysis of migration in Russia is carried out refilled with the main reasons of it. The third chapter is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on impacts of intellectual migration on the labor market; the second one is based on possible ways of solving the problem of intellectual emigration in Russia including analysis of migration policies in other countries. The third part discusses possible solutions of brain drain and describes implemented projects to reduce brain drain in Russia.

The activity of EGAP Company focusing on Czech export to the Russian Federation

The aim of my thesis is to evaluate the mutual business relationship between the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation, focusing on Czech export and its support on the Russian market. My bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the insurance Company EGAP that enables export of goods and services to the risky parts of the world. The first part of my thesis describes the economic situation of the countries, their current situation and the position within the world market. The second part is focused on the development of business relationship, characteristics, specifics and the risk of Czech export to the Russian Federation. Moreover, the part also discusses about the development of the most exported commodities. The third part introduces the EGAP Company and shows its main activities, offering services, successful projects but also those not so successful ones. The final part of my thesis evaluates a position within the foreign market and business results of the company.

Economic migration to the EU in the context of globalisation

This bachelor´s thesis focuses on the interdependencies between globalization and economic migration into member states of the EU. It reveals which specific aspects of globalisation have an impact on the way economic migration evolves. The thesis describes recent characteristics of migration into the EU. It tackles both intra-EU and extra-EU migration. There is a special focus on migrant communities which are present on territory of the EU. It specifically elaborates how globalisation influences those groups. It also describes the incentives that evolution of globalisation provides to the migration. It shows which groups of migrants are favoured and by which ways this could influence future economic migration.
