Low-speed Wind Turbines for Small and Medium Size Applications
Forró, Bálint ; Paar, Martin (referee) ; Procházka, Zdeněk (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with usage of slow-running wind turbines for small and medium applications, especially with Savonius rotor. In first part I described theoretical usage of wind and analysis of wind power plants. Next part describes advantages and disadvantages of Savonius wind rotor and its practical usage. Thesis is ended with engineering design of wind rotor of this type for according performance at specific wind speed.
Thermodynamic cycle
Zatloukal, Oto ; Procházka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
This work is focused on study of thermodynamic processes and cycles composed from this processes, chiefly the cycle composed from two isothermal and two isochoric processes. Additionally is done a mathematical model of the cycle and critical summary.
Design of small Wind Turbine System With Savonius Rotor
Foltýn, Petr ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Procházka, Zdeněk (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis deals with proposal of constructional solving of wind turbine system with Savonius rotor. In the first part, thesis includes complex theoretic knowledge, that make for optimal construction wind energy source. In the second part, the concrete proposal of small wind turbine system has been drawn up, including 3D model and constructional drawings in Autodesk Inventor Professional 2009.

Utilization renewable energy sources inside of EPS Czech Republik
Zmeškal, Pavel ; Procházka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
The purpose of this work was the analysis of current state and further development of renewable energy in the Czech Republic. And next their effects on the electricity system of the Czech Republic. On the basis of established facts has been developed actual state of renewable energy sources. The current situation is only orientation and is still changing at this time. Another objective was to evaluate the various renewable energy sources in terms of their impact on the electricity system and recoverability in the Czech Republic. In more detail were read up the conditions for the wind power plants operation and their connection to the electricity system of Czech Republic. In fine were discuss the impact of renewable energy sources on electricity system and prerequisite for their further development in the Czech Republic.
Photovoltaic systems in the cities
Dobiáš, Pavel ; Procházka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis' main goal is to introduce a potential reader with the photovoltaic system questions and its utilization in many applications. In the leading chapter the thesis deals with the potential of the energy which is radiated from the Sun towards the Earth. It tries to analyze the common problems of using this energy. The next part deals with simple semiconductor operating principles and explain the principles of photovoltaic cell functions. The upcoming part deals with the construction and basic types of photovoltaic cells and show the possible ways in their development. In the next part there are analyzed many types of photovoltaic systems and their application in praxis. In the next part the reader is introduced with the meaning of photovoltaic as a renewable source and with its support in the European Union and Czech Republic. The last part deals with design of four devices which uses photovoltaic system as a power source and which can be used in the city agglomeration environment.
The project of the small water power station
Vysoudil, Martin ; Procházka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Belatka, Martin (advisor)
The first part of this bachelor's work discuss about general theory of small water power station. The second part addresses the construction of small hydropower plants for specific conditions of the selected locations. At conclusion the project is assessed from economical point of view.

Procházka, Zdeněk ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Solution technology of production multiple groove pulley, comparison of the technology of construction, choice of technology and semi-finished products, choice of cutting materials, analysis of manufacture clamping. Comparison of production possibilities at the application of two different semi-finished products on multi-purpose engines.Making of working process at the application of machine centre and comparison of the effectiveness of its application.
Solution technology of part "solid belt pulley of hoist-elevator".
Procházka, Zdeněk ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This diploma work deals with a production technology of a tractive bearer rope wheel as a part of a hoist-elevator. A design and technological analysis of the components is studied, including a functional analysis of the grooves, a selection of the material of semi-manufactured blank, a selection of the cutting materials and production machines also. New CNC programs for production of the part have been worked-out. The work includes some suggestions for testing of the part function.
Utilization of biomass energy
Horváth, Martin ; Bok, Jaromír (referee) ; Procházka, Zdeněk (advisor)
Restoring sources of a energy and their development brings questions how these can be these sources the best utilized. The main aim of my bachelor`s thesis is an acquainted with methods of biomass conversion to energetic potential and his advantage. Than is mentioned proper project of the biogas plant and calculation of produced electric energy quantity in select cogeneration unit base on data on specific excrements production bred pigs and biogas production from slurry. The result is a variant evaluation of economy of the biogas plant operation for agricultural enterprise according to number of bred pigs and possibility of electric energy utilization.
