WHAT TO DO? Conversion of industrial premises, Brno - Obřany
Pospíšilová, Markéta ; Rudiš, Viktor (referee) ; Oplatek, Jiří (advisor)
Urbanism In the proposal, I tried the maximum value of existing urban values ??and their emphasis. It is also about making the most of already constructed buildings. I try to revitalize, or. perform their reconversion. Given that the area is in such close contact with nature, I see no reason for there not to try to adequately build up the island. Recently here I am building nine houses, which I concentrated in a structure that shapes its scale and linked to the surrounding buildings polovesnickou, yet is clearly modern. His height makes a "base" significant building mills. The area I was trying to understand what is already the best buildings, the traditional division of space into public spaces and squares, streets and private courtyards. And then the public buildings - solitary - in this case I am referring to the former mill. These classic elements I was trying to recover its proposal and its new structure they build. My next goal was to increase the permeability of the site so that it no longer perceived as complex, but as part of the city. So I connected the shore at ST. John of Nepomuk pedestrian bridge to the island. Spinning or school of architecture Also in the reconstruction of former mills, I thought so - and maximize value to emphasize the already existing buildings and try to understand their logic. On it, then follow a similar mentality when it denies the old new, but nor irrational nezbožšťuje. Boarding school, I allowed the two opposing sides - first from a bridge, and from the square on the island. From the bridge, I tried to maintain access to the laundry room as a bridge, because it is still building separate from the Bridge and it is still clear that he stands on the island. In bridge, I extend the sidewalk at the expense of the road. I realized that the spinning staircase located outside their volume and even the fact that I tried to respond - I have a new escape staircase is also located outside the mill. To do school "with one heart" as I have already described in the essay, I cut through the spinning in the middle of the floor (without the girders and ribs) and I created Respirium with which all space optically interconnected. The beauty of the existing structure will stand out best in the area of ??integrity. But as for teaching and teachers are even separate rooms, I decided to preserve as much unity in the ground - that is accessible to the public, and then on the fourth floor, which in itself is beautiful and will inspire students here who will form his studio work. There is a facility serving the public - library, exhibition details. On the second floor, then follow the stairs in respirium hall with cloakroom, conference room, administration, classrooms and offices. On the third floor, only the classrooms and offices, pattern shop and computer lab. The top floor of the studios are split only low walls and toilets and kitchens in addition to repeating in each floor there are even showers.

Study of lipid membranes with lysolipids as models of atopic dermatitis
Pospíšilová, Markéta ; Vávrová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Zbytovská, Jarmila (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of inorganic and organic chemistry Candidate: Pospíšilová, Markéta Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. PharmDr. Kateřina Vávrová, Ph.D. Title of Diploma Thesis: Study of lipid membranes with lysolipids as models of atopic dermatitis We are protected against the harmful influence of the external environment by a skin barrier, which is located in the stratum corneum. The skin barrier also prevents excessive water loss through the skin. Ceramides have the most important role in the barrier function of the skin. The healthy skin's ceramides are synthesized of glucosylceramide and sphingomyelin via enzymes sphingomyelinase and glucocerebrosidase. If there is a lack of ceramide in the stratum corneum, which means, if these mechanisms work insufficiently, it gives rise to atopic dermatitis. In the stratum corneum of a patient who suffers from atopic dermatitis are glucosylceramide and sphingomyelin hydrolyzed by glucosylceramide/sphingomyeline deacylase which leads to free fatty acids and lysolipids (glucosylsphingosine and sphingosinephosphorylcholine) generation. In this work, we prepared model membranes which simulate a composition of lipids of the stratum corneum of a patient with atopic dermatitis, in which ceramides are replaced by...
Ability of Czech Speakers of English to Pronounce Words with Silent Letters
Pospíšilová, Markéta ; Červinková Poesová, Kristýna (advisor) ; Farrell, Mark Robert (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to show the historical development of silent letters and their role in contemporary English. In the theoretical part a definition of a silent letter is provided and the reasons for its emergence are outlined. Moreover, we will concentrate on individual silent letters and describe in which positions they normally occur. In the practical part the ability of Czech learners of English to pronounce selected words with silent letters is assessed. The research includes a comparison of recordings obtained from students of the first and the fourth year of upper-secondary education.
Evaluation of muscle endurance among groups with varying degrees of physical activity
Pospíšilová, Markéta ; Kovařík, Miroslav (advisor) ; Hronek, Miloslav (referee)
Aim of this thesis is to compare muscle endurance in group of people with different physical activity. For this thesis we chose 24 people, specifically 14 women and 10 men, who were 21-27 years old and we divided them into two groups according to their daily energy expenditure into active and inactive group. Because of the fact that during physical activity ratio of body composition changes, part of this thesis was also anthropological measurement, where we measured body composition of every person by method of bioimpedance and also their weight and height. We also measured spirometry parameters. Then we used myometer and pinchgrip for measurement of muscle endurance in selected group of muscles in half of maximal strength. We discovered significant differences in muscle endurance in various groups of muscle. In some groups of muscles we proved significantly higher values of muscle endurance (determined as time of endurance test and area under the curve of dependence of muscle strength on time) in the group of people with higher daily energy expenditure. We successfully proved significant association of muscle endurance with energy expenditure, body composition and spirometrical parameters.

Teaching Silent Letters to Czech Learners
Pospíšilová, Markéta ; Červinková Poesová, Kristýna (advisor) ; Žďárek, Karel (referee)
This diploma thesis follows up on the bachelor thesis which dealt with the phenomenon of silent letters and which was created by the same author. This bachelor thesis has revealed that Czech learners tend to mispronounce every fifth word containing a silent letter which should be seen as alarming. The diploma thesis therefore tries to find some way how to change this situation. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the analysis of various techniques and materials which are concerned with silent letters. In the practical part this materials are adjusted to the needs of the Czech learners in order to create a battery of activities which would cover this area of pronunciation. In the next step these activities will be introduced in English classrooms. In the research we will monitor the progress of the respondents over a larger period of time and assess how effective the created activities are.
