Impact of Communication Parameters on Energy Consumption of Zigbee Devices

This thesis deals with the energy research and design a simple wireless sensor networks. The data modules with ZigBee wireless communication technology. The main feature of wireless sensor networks is the minimal energy devices at low cost and maximum data reliability. Furthermore, the work describes firmware for communicating nodes with the ability to change parameters of data transmission and thus affect the energy consumption node. Calculations of energy consumption, compared with measured results and discharge characteristics of the battery packs are included in the final chapters of this work.

The aim of this Bachelor's Thesis was to get acquainted with the Evolutionary Optimization Techniques, mainly with the Genetic Algorithm and Genetic Programming. It was subsequently described the role of optimization problem TSP solved using Genetic Algorithms and other Chapter solving Symbolic Regression using Genetic Programming. This optimalization problems were created in the programming JAVA and there are solved practical part of the thesis.

Design of manufacturing technology for plastic hung

The aim of my graduation theses is to work up the literature search of polymer processing. To give a short summary of their structure, characteristic and fabrication technique. Then to make a structural design of injection mold for producing the scheduled aim and motivate this design with requisite calculation for construction of the tool, a choice of injection machine and rundown of injection cycle. At the end of my work is this aim economically reviewed and compared with alternative form of structural design.

Automatic dictionary acquisition from parallel corpora

In this work, an extensible word-alignment framework is implemented from scratch. It is based on a discriminative method that combines a wide range of lexical association measures and other features and requires a small amount of manually word-aligned data to optimize parameters of the model. The optimal alignment is found as minimum-weight edge cover, selected suboptimal alignments are used to estimate confidence of each alignment link. Feature combination is tuned in the course of many experiments with respect to the results of evaluation. The evaluation results are compared to GIZA++. The best trained model is used to word-align a large Czech-English parallel corpus and from the links of highest confidence a bilingual lexicon is extracted. Single-word translation equivalents are sorted by their significance. Lexicons of different sizes are extracted by taking top N translations. Precision of the lexicons is evaluated automatically and also manually by judging random samples.

Small groups in city (to the issue of folklore associations)

The Diploma Work deals with folklore groups in Prague. It tries to map theirs foundation and development considering the aim of their foundation and regions from their members come. In the first chapter there is a list of the majority of groups and regional associations which perform non Prague folklore. In the next two chapters there I concentrate on two selected groups in great detail. These are Slovácký krúžek, the oldest still active regional association in Prague and the dulcimer music Kyčera. Kyčera is a hobby group serving to presentation of Wallachian folklore to the public through its performances and also through musical accompaniment of the dancing group Krušpánek and the children folklore group Vonička. At the end of my work there are presented conclusions arising from description of groups itself.

Czech compositions for string orchestra 1945-1968

Tvorbě pro smyčcový orchestr dosud muzikologická literatura nevěnovala přílišnou pozornost. Nejenže neexistuje žádná práce sledující námi vymezený časový výsek, ba nepodařilo se najít žádnou studii, která by se věnovala jakémukoli historickému úseku tvorby pro toto obsazení, a to jak u nás, tak v zahraničí. Ani slovníková hesla neuvádí smyčcový orchestr jako specifický druh souboru, ačkoli takové soubory existují. Faktem ovšem je, že řada skladatelů zanechala ve svém odkazu dílo určené smyčcovému orchestru, jen málokterý autor se však tomuto druhu tvorby věnoval soustavněji. Historii tvorby pro smyčcový orchestr lze přitom sledovat hluboko do minulosti nejen po linii serenády až k Mozartově Malé noční hudbě, v pozadí lze tušit také renesanční zálibu v jednotné barvě nástrojových rodin. Kromě Mozartovy serenády patří k často hraným skladbám určeným pouze pro smyčce Bachův třetí Braniborský koncert či Corelliho Vánoční Concerto grosso, nicméně nás zajímá smyčcový orchestr spíše v době, kdy je již konstituován orchestr symfonický. Tedy v době, kdy skladatelova rozhodnutí pro užití smyčcového orchestru je vědomou volbou založenou na požadavku jednotné barvy a zvukově kompaktního tělesa či komornějšího zvuku a nebo na objednávce konkrétního tělesa. Ke klasickým dílům 19. století patří zejména Čajkovského...
