Communication disability of children living in a bilingual environment

in English This bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of impaired communication skills in children living in a bilingual environment. The bachelor's thesis uses theoretical knowledge about bilingualism, impaired communication skills and proper development, and at the same time it is supplemented by a practical part, which is devoted to case studies of children with impaired communication skills coming from a bilingual environment at different ages. At the beginning, the main goal of the work was determined, from which the sub-goals of the work and research questions were derived. The research questions are answered at the end of the work. There are four case studies in the bachelor's thesis, which prove that the family setting and their motivation to improve the child's communication skills and at the same time their relationship to the Czech language have an effect on impaired communication skills. The bachelor's thesis shows the positive impact of daily and regular speech therapy intervention, as well as the negative impact of a lax approach. At the same time, it turned out that children mostly choose their second language, not Czech, for their everyday needs and play. Nutritional disorders in patients with Huntington's disease

OF THE BACHELOR THESIS This thesis deals with the issue of nutritional disorders in Huntington's disease. Huntington's disease is an incurable, neurodegenerative, autosomal dominant inherited disease. The prevalence of Huntington's disease in Western society is 10.6-13.7 / 100,000 individuals. The disease is manifested by disorders of free motor control, speech, swallowing, postural instability, cognitive deterioration and various behavioral changes. An integral part of the disease is unwanted weight loss. In the various stages of the disease, the causes of the development of nutritional disorders may differ and combine with each other. In the theoretical part, the chapters are devoted to the etiology and pathogenesis, pathology, clinical manifestations, forms and stages of the disease, nutritional disorders and their classification, methods of nutritional status examination and specific causes of nutritional disorders that occur in each stage of the disease. A special chapter focuses on the classification of nutritional disorders according to the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism, which was applied in the research. The needs of the ICU patient after myocardial infarction requiring V-A ECMO support

Introduction: The coronary heart disease is still an actual topic. The mortality has been in recent years declining, but prevalence in the population stagnates, so involve a large group of patients. The incidence of acute myocardial infarction is still high. One of the methods of reperfusion therapy is the cardiac surgery by coronary artery bypass graft, which may be postoperatively complicated by the development of low cardiac output syndrome with the need of the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. These patients require very specialized not only during the critical phase, but also during the long-term convalescence including rehabilitation, weaning from the artificial lung ventilation, self-sufficiency training and help with return to normal life. Literature search: The theoretical part is based on the research of National Medical Library (NLK) and Study and Scientific Library of the Pilsen Region (SVKPL). The incidence of acute myocardial infarction is still high. One of the methods of reperfusion therapy is the cardiac surgery by coronary artery bypass graft, which may be postoperatively complicated by the development of postcardiotomy cardiogenic shock with the urgency of the venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (V-A ECMO). The quality of very specialized and complex care for these long-term hospitalized patients depends on understanding their needs and ways of saturation. The aim of this study is to present these needs from the perspective of the patient and their family. Research questions ain to identify the main aspect of recovery, the factors negatively affecting the mental state of patients, the ways to help them by healthcare professionals and family, how can healthcare professionals help the family and how this experience has affected both the family and the patient. The research is carried out using a qualitative method of semistructured interview with six respondents with this type of anamnesis, who were hospitalized between 2015 and 2021 in the ICU of cardiac surgery department, and three of their relatives. Management techniques in the organization

The main aim of this thesis was to analyze the specific management techniques used in the selected organization and to propose how these techniques efficiently use and develop. In the theoretical part, there four basic management techniques have been explained, such as planning, organizing, management and control, and the various methods used in these techniques. In the practical part, there at first, organization was described and then its history. Furthermore, the current situation was analyzed through questionnaires and interviews with the director of domestic sales. The results were presented in graphs. The last part contains a discussion and proposals of changes to which I came by the obtained information. By implementing these proposals, it could lead to more efficient use of management techniques and practices in society.
Awareness of pupils from selected high schools about issue of dying

The thesis deals with the subject of dying and death and focuses on secondary school students' awareness of this issue. The theoretical part of the thesis describes stages of dying, the needs of a dying person and their emotional state. Furthermore, it distinguishes between dying at home and dying in a health care institution. In the following chapters, the thesis focuses on palliative care, the process of grieving, funeral rites and the issue of euthanasia. The method of the theory was reading of literature that specializes in the issue. The practical part of the thesis compares data from questionnaires given to secondary school students on the topic of death and dying. The research shows that the students' awareness of the issue is considerably low - 84% respondents did not know what the term "palliative care" meant, 88% respondents did not know what the term "hospice" meant and 74% respondents were not familiar with the term "euthanasia". The readers of this thesis meet the topic of internet advertising. The thesis describes different forms of internet advertising and its special features. Its aim is to analyse individual forms of internet advertising and propose an optimal campaign for the chosen subject. The first part covers theoretical knowledge in this area. The next part contains the analysis of competitors' use of Internet advertising. After that follows the analysis of current trends and offer of advertising agencies focusing on internet advertising. Based on the data gained in these parts, the last part of the thesis contains specific proposals and recommendations for internet advertising of the chosen company. These advertising campaigns should bring the company increase in sales and they should also increase public awareness of the company brand.
