Development of the Czech Economy - 1st quarter 2016

In the first quarter of 2016, the Czech economy grew to a successful year last year, when both GDP1 and gross value added grew by 3.0% year on year. However, the growth rate of both indicators weakened (from +4.3% in 2015 for GDP and +3.7% in the case of gross value added), as they showed a high base of comparison for the first quarter of 2015 and a decrease in the general government sector Related to the closure of drawings from the European funds in the 2007-2013 programming period.

Comparative analysis of the development of economies of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria

Three Central European countries, the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and Austria, combine not only geographical leakage and mental similarity, but also several other features of an overly economic nature: at present a very strong link to the German economy, in terms of economies instead of the middle third of the ranking of the European countries, noticeable socio-cultural similarity, etc. However, there are also obvious differences, especially in the level of economic maturity measured by the usual indicators, in the case of Austria, on the one hand, and the Czech Republic, and Slovakia on the other.

Hodnocení výkonnosti ekonomiky České republiky v širším kontextu: Souhrnná data o České republice

Cílem analýzy, jak už z názvu vyplývá, je zhodnotit výkonnost ekonomiky České republiky v širším kontextu. Konkrétně jde o rozbor dlouhodobých trendů vývoje ekonomiky, což z hlediska dostupných údajů znamená časové řady začínající ve většině případů v první polovině devadesátých let. Kromě této analýzy časových řad je věnován významný prostor i analýze teritoriální, to znamená mezinárodnímu srovnání, v němž je kladen důraz na porovnání vývoje v ČR s vývojem v jednotlivých zemích Evropské unie. I v tomto případě je rozbor omezen dostupností datových zdrojů, protože pouze ve výjimečných případech Eurostat disponuje sadou údajů za všechny země Unie.
