Contact assistance in teaching swimming to children with autism spectrum disorders
Nováková, Linda ; Hubená, Kristýna (advisor) ; Kramperová, Veronika (referee)
Title: Contact assistance in swimming lessons for children with autism spectrum disorder Objectives: The aim of the study was to map the issue of contact assistance in swimming lessons for children with autism spectrum disorder. The intention was to obtain information about the use of contact assistance from organisations or swimming schools that deal with the issue of contact assistance in swimming lessons through a questionnaire. On the basis of the data obtained, we then created a pictorial material on the form of contact assistance in swimming lessons for this population. Methods: The research was conducted using a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. A questionnaire survey was used to obtain the necessary information about the use of contact assistance in swimming lessons for children with ASD in the Czech Republic. Participant observation was used in direct participation in swimming lessons. A pictorial material was created from this lesson. Using non- participant observation, analysis of the pictorial material was carried out. Results: From the results of the research it is evident that the use of contact assistance in swimming lessons for children with ASD is justified. The responses evaluated from the questionnaire survey show a prevalence of positive effects on swimmers....
Coaching as a mean of solving problems in team functioning
Nováková, Linda ; Buriánek, Jiří (advisor) ; Trunda, Jiří (referee)
The main aim of the work is a closer examination of team cooperation issues, and evaluation team coaching efficiency as a tool of prevention or of subsequent team problems solving. Formally, the text is divided to two elemental parts. The first one is comprised of theoretical framework of team coaching. There is a principal of team functioning explained, difference from a group and possible dangers that are connected with effective team functioning. Further on, the work describes basic coaching theories, principles, structuring, procedures and a partial framework definition, where the coaching implication is desirable and where it is not. Team coaching is here introduced as not particularly specific branch of coaching, attention to it is paid mostly from a methodological point of view. Student coaching and school team coaching issues are also a part of the work, which is followed by the empirical section. The empirical part consists of a basic evaluation of the pilot project, which subject was team coaching in high schools. Such a project has not had a parallel in the Czech Republic so far. Its primary part therefore worked not only as a coaching application test on class teams, but also as verification of a tool for such a project evaluation.
Didactic interaction in swimming lessons for children with autism spectrum disorders
Nováková, Linda ; Hubená, Kristýna (advisor) ; Zenáhlík, Aleš (referee)
Title: Didactic interaction in swimming lessons for children with autism spectrum disorders Objectives: The goal of this bachelor's thesis was to describe and analyze the interaction profile of two instructors (a begginer in comparison with a senior instructor with many years of experience), leading a swimming lesson for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and in doing so, to contribute to the objectification of the conceptions about didactic interaction in aquatic motion lessons for children with ASD. Methods: The entire research was carried out in combination of both kvalitative and kvantitave methods. The observation was made during direct attendance of children with autism spectrum disorders at swimming lessons. Videorecords were made from two of these lessons. The videorecords were analysed by an unbiased observation. Subsequent coding of each individual swimming lesson was made with the method of modified analysis of didactic interaction (MADI). Results: From the research results it is apparent, that from the behavioral patterns, intructions prevailed for both instructors. Second most frequent subcategory for instructor 01 was correction, and for instructor 02 reception. The most used form of expresion for both instructors was speech and speech with body movements. From the...
The legend of Elissar (Dido) and its processing in French literature
Nováková, Linda ; Jamek, Václav (advisor) ; Pohorský, Aleš (referee)
This work focuses on the personality of Carthaginian queen Elissar, also called Dido, the founder of Carthage. In more details it describes her life and her fate narrated in original legend. This legend is then compared with heroic epic Aeneis written by Roman poet Publius Vergilius Maro who gave to the personage of Elissar new significance. It outlines the importance of this myth for the European and non-European culture, especially in France. It analyses the French authors that were inspired by this story and it traces the similarities and the differences between their tragedies. The aim of this work lies on introducing queen Elissar, on giving a list of authors and on presenting the value of this myth.

Awareness of students od Philosophical Faculty of the Charles University of the situation on the labour-market
Nováková, Linda ; Podaná, Zuzana (referee) ; Buriánek, Jiří (advisor)
In this work I am dealing with the theme of labour-market, more precisely with the relation between students (as potential aspirants) and labour-market, focusing on their so far acquired education, also with overview of the labour-market as such, mainly in a relationship with their domain and perspectives. The main content of my work is a research done at the Philosophical faculty of the Charles University. In the research there was being found out how students assess their existing awareness of labour-market and access to these information. Students had to, at the same time, reflect the relationship between their own education and visions of their future job. Other questions were directed to the theme of establishing an institution at Philosophical faculty, which would offer consulting in the sphere of labour-market.
Vztah mezi modulární strukturou serin/threonin proteinkinasy eukaryontního typu StkP z Streptococcus pneumoniae a její funkcí
Pallová, Petra ; Přenosilová, Lenka ; Nováková, Linda ; Branny, Pavel
In order to determine a cellular localization of protein kinase StkP we prepared its epitope-labelled form expressed in S. pneumoniae. The full-length form of StkP was detected with monoclonal antibody in the membrane fraction. In vitro autophosphorylation assays confirmed this finding and phosphorylated product of corresponding mass was detected in the membranes. These results clearly showed that StkP is a membrane-associated protein.
Identifikace genů a proteinů, regulovaných Ser/Thr proteinkinasou Streptococcus pneumoniae, mikročipovou metodou a analýzou 2-D gelů
Přenosilová, Lenka ; Nováková, Linda ; Branny, Pavel
To identify the genes whose expression is controlled by protein kinase StkP we examined the transcription profile of DstkP mutant by DNA microarray technology. The transcript analysis revealed the StkP-dependent expression of many potential target loci. Out of 2,300 genes evaluated, 49 were found to be specifically and strongly upregulated in the DstkP strain, whereas 48 were downregulated. The data obtained from transcription profile were further extended by proteomic studies and mass spectrometry.
