Legal status of a surety in tax proceedings

Diplomová práce Resumé ____________________________________________________________________________ Legal status of a surety in tax proceedings Resume This paper deals with the legal status of a surety pursuant to the Tax and Fee Administration Act and to the applicable Code of Tax Procedure not effective yet. It is generally known that the procedural legal status of a surety in tax proceedings has always been one of the problematic topics for tax administration. It was covered by Section 57, Subs. 5 of Tax and Fee Administration Act No. 337/1992 Coll. as amended, by one paragraph only, which resulted in many disputes, discussions, and last but not least, civil proceedings. This was mostly caused by the fact that standing surety for someone, being one of the securities provided, was ranked in section six, called "Tax payment"; however, a surety had never been explicitly stated in legal provisions which related to its legal status. The judicature had always characterised only a principal, not a surety. The surety was explicitly mentioned in the provisions of S. 7, Subs. 2 ZSDP, in which it was ranked as a party to tax proceedings. Tourism and Terrorism

The main objective of this study is to describe the changes that tourism industry has made because of the terrorist activities around the world. Further to study impacts that terrorist attacks have had on tourism and try to find a possibility how to prevent and minimize the negative impacts of terrorism. The study method is bibliographic search of literature and internet sources. Egypt has been chosen as a case study because in this country there are big impacts of terrorism on tourism industry. The study higlights the main motivation factors that affect tourists when they choose their holiday destination. It indicates that tourism is highly resistant industry. Interactions of microscopic fungi and testate amoebae in Norway spruce litter

Both testate amoebae and fungi are common inhabitants of coniferous litter. Their interactions in this environment were rarely studied, although they reach high biodiversity and can play a significant role in nutrient cycling in this environment. In this study, a cultivation of litter needles in the damp chambers was used to investigate interactions between fungi and testate amoebae. Observation of spruce litter needles in environmental scanning electron microscope was used to better characterize testate amoebae communities directly on the needles. Additionally, two experiments changing the biotic conditions in the microcosm were used to follow a principle of the interactions. Three species of testate amoebae from litter needles were able to colonize the filter paper on the bottom of the damp chambers. Occurrence of Phryganella acropodia and Assulina muscorum on the filter paper was significantly fuelled by the presence of mycelium. Assulina muscorum was associated with the fungal spores and Arcella discoides was attracted by sporulating colonies of Cladosporium spp. in the damp chambers. Diversity and taxonomy of Trichoderma in the Czech Republic

Genus Trichoderma - anamorph of the genus Hypocrea (Hypocreaceae, Hypocreales, Sordariomycetes, Ascomycota) belongs to saprotrophic filamentous micromycetes. The representatives of this genus are known primarily as cosmopolitan inhabitants of soil ecosystems, including leaf litter and woody debris. This work summarizes the results of the study of isolates belonging to the genus Trichoderma originating from the territory of the Czech Republic, mainly from soil and leaf litter. During the study, altogether 267 isolates were analysed. For all of the isolates the following methods were used: phenotypic characterisation, UP-PCR fingerprinting, gene sequencing in tef 1α and ITS regions, and in the strain AK 115/00 also in rpb2 region. The main result of the study was the identification of 21 species of genus Trichoderma belonging into 4 groups and discovery of one isolate of species yet unknown to science. Species T. crassum, T. gamsii, T. ghanense, T. rossicum and T. longipile were found in the Czech Republic for the first time. According to the literature review and results of this study, 34 different Trichoderma species is currently known from the Czech Republic. The Barrytown Trilogy: Roddy Doyle's Portrayal of Dublin Working Class at the Turn of the 1990s

This thesis is concerned with the depiction of working-class Dublin in Roddy Doyle's first three novels, The Commitments, The Snapper and The Van, known as The Barrytown Trilogy. The first part of the thesis provides a short overview of Doyle's early work in the context of modern Irish fiction with a focus on working-class protagonists and outlines Ireland's and specifically Dublin's cultural and economic background in the late 1980s and the early 1990s. The second part is based on a comparative analysis of the three books in which the author celebrates everyday life in Barrytown, a fictitious neighbourhood in the north of Dublin, through the eyes of a typical working-class family. One section is also dedicated to the language of the trilogy used as a means of achieving greater authenticity. Awareness of hospital staff in respect of nutrition in connection with education

The diploma thesis focuses on hospital staff and their nutrition awareness in relation to their education. The aim of the thesis is to map the nutrition awareness of the employees in the hospital. Compare how the knowledge of the hospital dietary system differs among the staff with basic, secondary and tertiary education. Compare how the knowledge of healthy eating principles differs among the hospital staff with primary, secondary and tertiary education. Find out from employees what they think affects their eating habits and adherence to the principles of healthy eating. The theoretical part deals with the general meaning of carbohydrates, fats, proteins and other important substances for the organism. Furthermore, it deals with recommendations for healthy and balanced eating, nutrient supplementation, tips for a balanced diet, dietary measures for selected diseases and the consequences of poor nutrition on the human body. Last but not least, the dietary system and diets are mentioned in the work. A questionnaire survey method was used to draw up the practical part, where 168 employees were involved. Effect of temperature on life cycle of zygomycetes

This thesis is aiming on zygomycetes, their importance, their current position in the Fungi kingdom and above all their ecological demands. The paper summarizes the influence of temperature on their life cycle (i.e. primarily on the growth, reproduction and production of metabolites). It focuses mainly on psychrophilic and thermophilic species and describes the mechanisms of adaptation to unfavorable living conditions. To investigate the influence of temperature, zygomycetes are exceptionally suitable model organisms, e.g. in the order Mucorales we can find relatives growing in diametrically different environments. Among the mechanisms of extreme temperature adaptation for zygomycetes are in particular trehalose production, a change in the degree of saturation of membrane phospholipids and the production of membrane stabilizing agents - sterols, glycolipids and sugar alcohols.
