Case report of orthotic and prosthetic care of a patient with a diagnosis of transtibial amputation of the tibia
Rybová, Pavla ; Neuwirthová, Svatava (advisor) ; Šolc, Zdeněk (referee)
vi Abstract Title: A case report of orthotic and prosthetic care of a patient with a diagnosis of transtibial amputation of the tibia Aims: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to discuss in theoretical terms the individual aspects of the case report of a patient that led to transtibial amputation of the right leg. In the practical part, a description of the production of the primary equipment is presented. Methods: In the theoretical part, the professional framework of the problem is presented based on a literature search, knowledge from professional seminars and my practical experience. The practical part describes the course of the production of the first equipment, from the collection of the measuring materials, through the production of the stump bed, tests and adjustments, to the handover of the aid. This is followed by the experiment of fitting an individual with a calceotic aid to complement the compensatory aid. The practical part is documented verbally and photographically as it took place during my professional practice. Results: Too early production of a provisional bed cannot reflect the rapid volumetric changes of the stump and leads to the need to produce a new bed in a very short time frame. Keywords: transtibial amputation, cushionings, tibiofemoral angle, diabetic foot syndrome

It also describes the types of fractures and their division, treatment options - invasive or non- invasive, the course of bone healing and the procedure of subsequent rehabilitation after fractures. The special part includes a complete case report of the patient, initial kinesiological analysis, record of therapeutic units completed by the patient and then the output kinesiological analysis. In the final part I discuss the evaluation of the overall effect of the therapy. Keywords: case study, physiotherapy, brachial plexus, shoulder joint, humerus,...

Svatava Neuwirthová Title: Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of Patient after total hip arthroplasty Objectives: The aim of this thesis is a case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after total hip arthroplasty, evaluation of the effect of therapy and theoretical treatment of this diagnosis. Methods: The bachelor thesis consists of a general part, which uses the literature to discuss the topic of total hip arthroplasty, and a special part, which contains a case report of a patient with this diagnosis. The special part includes a comprehensive initial kinesiological examination, description of the individual therapeutic units, an output kinesiological examination and an evaluation of the effect of therapy. Results: The final kinesiological examination confirmed that the therapies had a positive effect on the patient's health. The greatest improvement is seen in the increase in muscle strength in the right hip joint and the increase in range of motion. Another improvement is the reduction of swelling and the effect on the shortened muscles. These results prove that the therapies were effective. Conclusion: During the rehabilitation program, which lasted two weeks, the patient attended a total of eight therapies. At the end, an outcome...

vi Abstract Title: Case study of ortho-prosthetic care of a patient with the diagnosis of transtibial amputation Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to process a case report of a patient with a detailed description of the production and application of a prosthetic device. Another goal is to process basic theoretical knowledge about anatomy, amputations and prosthetics of the lower limbs with a focus on transtibial prostheses. Methods: The bachelor's thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part summarizes basic knowledge regarding anatomy, amputations and transtibial prosthetics of the lower limbs. The practical part contains a case study of a diabetic patient with the diagnosis of lower leg amputation, which consists of a description of their medical history, measurement taking and the process of manufacturing a prosthetic device. Results: The case report was prepared as part of my professional training at Protetika s.r.o. The result of the work is the creation of a new prosthetic device that will help the patient in his daily life and improve it. Keywords: amputation, prosthesis, transtibial, case report
