Specifics of waste management in energy company

Theoretical part of this bachelor thesis explains the terms concerning waste management in a power supply company. It further descibes the practice enforced in accordance with current law and resolves the origin, collection and disposal of waste. The practical part contains specific activities of a power supply company in cleaning a gas pipeline with resulting hazardous waste. It also specifies various types of waste, its quantity, classification in the catalogue of wastes and a detailed description of the technologies used and actions taken on waste disposal.This thesis aims to qualify the types of waste produced in a power supply company and to evaluate the procedures for waste storage and disposal according to current law.
Factoring and its influence on companies financial health

The thesis examines and evaluates the influence of the financing of receivables through factoring on the financial health of the recruitment agency Grafton Recruitment s.r.o. operating in the Czech Republic. The first part deals with the theoretical background of the company's assets and capital structure and with alternative sources of the company's funding focusing on factoring and it describes the financial analysis and the basic definition of the activity of recruitment agencies. The second part presents the above mentioned recruitment agency and applies theoretical knowledge to the data taken from financial statements starting by the fiscal year 2012 and ending by 2016, through selected methods of financial analysis. The next step is analyzing receivables according to the payment deadlines, which are processed from the company's internal accounting, then describing methods of use of factoring in the company and assessing its expenses. The final evaluation of the factoring effect on the company's financial health is based on results of horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and of profit and loss account, as well as on the indexes of profitability, activity, indebtedness and liquidity. The end includes aspects of the factoring impact on the rating of the company's financial health based on practical experiences.
Innovation and business project

The aim of the thesis under the title Innovation and a business project, is to develop a specific entrepreneurial project represented by a fitness centre and to evaluate it from the perspective of its feasibility and return upon investment. Firstly, the theoretical concept of entrepreneurship is analyzed. The next step includes the analysis of applicable legal framework governing entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic and the last step is represented by the definition of the structure of the business project. In the first part, business is described by its general characteristics. The next part is dedicated to environment analysis analyzing the internal and external factors influencing the business. Next step defines business opportunities which includes description of services that the business will provide. Then, human resources required for running the business have to be determined, as well as marketing strategy supplemented by a marketing mix. Based on this, a SWOT analysis is developed, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats having an impact on the business. The final part comprises financial plan which deals, inter alia, with project is economic rentability and conditions underpinning its feasibility.

This diploma thesis Business plan: Flats for rent to foreign tourists shows the reader the solution of business plan and project management in the real world. Theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the basic structure of a business plan, financial part of this diploma thesis and shortly describes the legal issues of rent the flat in the Czech Republic. Everything is applied in the practical part of this thesis, where the project is described, after that analysis of the inner and outer environment are made. The next chapter describes in detail the conditions for the implementation of marketing strategy. The last chapter of this thesis is devoted to financial plan, in which are calculated few scenarios of the business idea and possible risks of this project. The processing of the business plan is focused on practical application and is designed as instructions on how to start a business in this subject.
Comparison of The Development of Greek and Czech Economy

Summary Thesis Comparison of Greek and Czech economies has been devied into two main parts, the theoretical and the practical one. The theoretical part was about gaining an important theoretical knowledge, which lead to a broader understanding of the issue. There were mentioned descriptive methods, describing various macroeconomic indicators, that were used to compare the two national economies. Alos, there were taking into consideration several main economical aspects, such as: gross domestic product, general unemployment rate, inflation rate, export, import and interest rates, and the national debt coefficient. The last chapters have been devoted to describe the Maastricht criteria and the process of involving euro in Czech Republic. The practical part included individual macroeconomic indicators, examined in terms of development of both economies, and subsequently with the help of statistical methods, made the comparison, that highlighted important analogies and differences. For deeper perception of the issue, there were used data of other European Union countries and countries that had eccepted euro in this thesis. And the last but not the least, the macroeconomic data evaluation has been set for the period from 2005 to 2015. Findings were based on the last part of the thesis, which obtained comparison of the development of both economies in the past, and also included the assumption for future development. Conclusion described the impact on Czech Republic economy, influenced by embracement of euro.
The Importance and Impact of the Antimonopoly Office in the Czech Republic

The Diploma Thesis is focused on the issue of protection of economic competition. It deals with its politics, structure, distorting competition and last but not least its protection. The objective of the work is to analyze and describe the importance of the Office for the Protection of Competition, its influence and work in relation to the most important cases of the distorting competition in the Czech Republic, mainly in case of cartel agreements, abuse of dominant position, specifically in the period 2010-2015. Fundamental part of the work was based on the research that was crucial for the work. The research collected data in the Czech as well as English language in order to gain theoretical basis. It was necessary to gain and study all available professional information concerning to the topic. Analytical part of the work was based primarily on the description and comparison method. Sources for the analytical part were gained from the regularly published reports of the Office for the Protection of Competition. These data are publicly available information. Conclusion of the work deals with assessment of work of the Office for the Protection of Competition and its influence. Therefore there was confirmed one of the main thesis that had initiated the research. The author of the diploma thesis came to the conclusion that imposing sanctions is not only the most effective tool of the economic protection but also serves as a significant preventive measure.
Financial analysis of selected enterprises

The thesis deals with the financial analysis of two leading companies of the energy industry, E.ON Distribution, Inc. and PRE Distribution, Inc. The work is divided into two main parts. The first of these, literature review, discusses the company's performance in terms of financial analysis. In addition it provides basic information about financial analysis, their resources, techniques and methods. The second part, their work is focused on the characteristics of selected companies, as well as the application of knowledge from the literature review to selected companies using financial analysis methods in the years 2011-2015. Financial analysis is based on currently available published financial statements of both companies, mainly from the balance sheet and profit and loss account. On the financial statements of the company is applied to the analysis of absolute indicators, namely vertical and horizontal analysis, differential indicators, which is a typical representative of net working capital, to analyze liquidity, profitability, debt and bankruptcy activities and calculations standing model. At the end thesis is to evaluate the financial health of the company, along with a view of the financial situation in the future.
Design of Business Strategy in the Currency Market

This thesis is about basics of forex the currency market. The main objective of the thesis is to create a forex business strategy, which should be functional, complex and profitable in long term. Testing of this strategy based on historical data and using a real investment account will follow. Thesis is divided into three main chapters. Starting with theoretical part, where we define basic terms, which will be used later, mainly in analytical chapter. Another important part of this chapter will be about three basic approaches how to analyze market, called technical, funamental and relational analysis. The second major chapter is analytical part, in which we are going to build trading strategy Strategie Tomáše Havlíka. This specific trading strategy will compared to the most comonly used trading strategies, tested using historical data and on live account. There will be couple of hand picked trades, which will be analyzed as another part of this chapter. Chapter evaluation of results is focusd not only on evaluating each currency pair and it s various timeframes, but other statistics too, which where acquired during the testing period. Average 50% year over year rentability reached on hourly timeframe and 30% rentability reached on four hour timeframe proves the overall profitability and usefulness of the strategy. Finally, the Conclussion, chapter where we focus on future development of the trading strategy and its integration into a komplex trading approach, which consists of several trading strategies, which are ultimately creating cooperative entity. Information, which will create a backbone of this thesis, will be accquired from respected books aswell as well known internet sources, written mainly by group of authors called FXstreet.cz and British trader Anna Coulling.
Statistical analysis of preferences in beer consumption

The thesis discusses the analysis of preferences in beer consumption. It is divided into two main parts: the theoretical background and analytical sections. The basic principles such as manufacturing, technology and categorization of beer are explained in the theoretical part. Next the beer market in the Czech Republic is illustrated following with consumer characteristics. It is researched from two different angles. As the first there are marketing factors influencing buying habits of the consumer himself. The other one contains general patterns of food consumption, which are given for the food segment as a whole, and especially for beer consumption. This section is completed with elementary principles of research, questionnaire creation and its evaluation. The analytical part at the beginning is based on historical and freely available data from the Velké Popovice brewery - Kozel, which are analysed and complemented with predictions. The very core of this section is to evaluate the questionnaire using statistical software Statistica. The first evaluation here uses general hypotheses concerning the beer as a whole. The data concerning only the brewery Kozel build on those general hypotheses. The most important factors affecting beer consumption in general are: gender, monthly income and age. Regarding the brewery Kozel and the influencing factors are above all gender and monthly income, together with the type of beer.
Statistical analysis of resocialization care after prison release

The level of crime has to be regulated in order to prevent the crime to cause major damage to society. Therefore it is profitable to address criminal recidivism as well. Recidivism is caused by a complicated process of reintegration of people with criminal records back to society. The main goal of this thesis was to find the main factors affecting reintegration process of people after incarceration. The thesis is trying to reach the results by quantitative research, specifically examining the frequencies and dependence of categorical variables. The main factors which influence the reintegration process of people with criminal past are unemployment and indebtedness. These elements are affected by certain demographic factors. These factors also influence the type of criminal activity and the probability of criminal recidivism.
