Analysis of Using Cable Sections in the Route of 400 kV Overhead Line
Belatka, Martin ; Rusek, Stanislav (referee) ; Modlitba, Petr (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
The thesis deals with the use of cable sections in the overhead transmission route of the 400 kV transmission system in the Czech Republic, with the design of the arrangement of the cable route and with the solution of the crossover of the cable line with other networks of the technical infrastructure or natural obstacles. The thesis shows what the construction of a 400 kV cable line in the overhead transmission route - which has not been implemented in the Czech Republic as of yet - entails in practice. The first, general part deals with the electrical properties of both the cable lines and the combined overhead transmission lines with intermediate cable sections, and this sets out limitations on the maximum possible length of the cable sections. The following chapters provide an analysis of the magnetic field of the cable line, its impact on the surrounding environment and the possibilities of its shielding. On the basis of this knowledge optimization of the designed cable route arrangement is carried out in order to make the route comply with hygiene limits. The next part uses selected locations on a real route of overhead 400 kV transmission line to show what the construction of cable sections inserted into the route of overhead 400 kV line would involve. The design includes a professional estimate of the time and financial demands of the construction.

This bachelor´s thesis describes the design of small hydroelectric power plants. The first part deals with the selection of a suitable site and its hydro-energy solution. The second part focuses on the conceptual design of small hydroelectric power plants. The following section discusses connecting the power plant to the electricity grid. Finally, work is done economic evaluation of the entire water works.
A study of small water power resource
Demovič, Petr ; Pěcha, Jiří (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with a concept of a small hydro power plant. The first part is focused on hydro power potential of the Czech Republic, the general theory of small hydropower plants and their division. The following part discusses about the selection of suitable localities for construction of small hydro power plant and the decision of choosing the best of them. The selected locality is described and evaluated. Subsequently, the thesis deals with the theory of water management and hydro power solution of small hydro power plant. As the next step was to design the most suitable turbine. Then the thesis characterizes the concept of electric part of the small hydro power plant and its connection to the distribution network. This part is focused on the design of the most suitable generator, compensation of reaktive powers, a concept of cabel for pulling of power of power plant a protections. The last part is about economic evaluation of the entire investment and environmental evaluation.
Design of micro hydro power plant
Pušec, Daniel ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
Hydropower, in large or small scale, is by far the most important source of renewable energy worldwide. It provides about 19% of world’s elektricity. Small hydropower plants are one of the most cost-effective and enviroment benign technology. Currently installed capacity in Europe is about 180GW (exluding pumped storage plants), but it is covered by nearly 90% by large scale hydrpower plants. In Czech republic, about 3% of all produced elektricity is covered by hydrpower plants, exactly about 2,400 GWh anually. Nowadays, it is already exploited nearly 2/3 of all technically available hydro potential for small, mini and microhydro power plants in Czech republic. Unexploited is about 30%, it correspondents to 600 GWh annually. This thesis follows-up with design of micro hydropower plant, which includes choosing of suitable place for the plant and design its hydroenergetic solution.
The projekt of the small water power station
Steidl, Adam ; Pěcha, Jiří (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with a concept of a small hydro power plant. The first part is focused on hydro power potential of the Czech Republic, the general theory of small hydro power plants and their division. The following part discusses about the selection of suitable localities for construction of small hydro power plant and the decision of choosing the best of them. The selected locality is described and evaluated. Subsequently, the thesis deals with the theory of water management and hydro power solution of small hydro power plant. Futher the concept of a small hydro power plant is outlined. This concept consists of a theoretical solution of the hydraulic circuit and more detailed it focuses on the selection of appropriate sets. Then the thesis characterizes the concept of electric part of the small hydro power plant and its connection to the Distribution network. This part of thesis is aimed to compensation of reaktive powers, a concept of cabel for pulling of power of power plant, protections and automatization of the small hydro power plant. Finally, the economic evaluation of the investiment is done.
Small Wind Power Plant Project
Görig, Tomáš ; Paar, Martin (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
This thesis deals with finding an suitable locality for construction and technical design of small wind power plant station. The several ways are described and the best one is chosen. Also are projected and described several choices of usage the produced energy. Next part deals with economical side of power plant project as well as the ways of usage the produced energy. Results of this evaluation helped the investor to choose the best option.
Project of Small Water Power Station
Hlavica, Tomáš ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
Hydroelectric power plants in the Czech Republic are the most important component of electricity production from renewable sources. A hydroelectric power plant in our country produces 3.9% of the total energy, which is almost half of the 8.2% of all renewable sources. Regarding the large hydroelectric power plants and those already in the Czech Republic is very likely to accrue more, because in this sphere we need to focus on smaller hydroelectric power plants, up to 10MW included. The task of this project is to design just such a small hydropower plants (SHP), which could be an interesting investment for people nearby of larger rivers. In the first part of my project is to choose a suitable area for construction of SHP. In the second part is ma task identify and propose solutions water and hydropower

Design of domestic energy supply system using renewable energy sources
Gaborčík, Michal ; Pavelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of utilization of renewable energy sources for domestic power supply. In theoretical part is created research about available technologies using solar collectors, photovoltaic systems and heat pumps. In practical part there are calculated expected values of energy needed for heating of family house, domestic hot water heating and electrical consumption of appliances. These values are bases for system design using air to water heat pump for heating and domestic hot water heating. As far as photovoltaic system is concerned there is comparative design of systems using polycrystalline and thin-layer technology. At the end both designed systems are evaluated from technical and economical points of view.
Use of solar energy in CR
