6 ABSTRACT Title: Effect of biofeedback on stability, coordination and activation of patients after spi- nal stabilization using Hunova Movendo posturographic device Aims: The aim of this thesis was to introduce the Hunova Movendo posturographic de- vice and to validate its benefits in increasing stability by comparing outcome measures. The secondary aim was to evaluate the therapy from the probands' perspective. Methods. First, all selected probands underwent an initial interview and an initial postural stability examination using the Hunova Movendo device, which measured changes in body position values. The training intervention with visual feedback was conducted for a total of six weeks, specifically every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In the third week of training, a follow-up examination was conducted to assess the improvement or deteri- oration of the results, and also to motivate all probands. At the end of the six-week inter- vention, an exit examination was conducted and probands were given a five-question subjective questionnaire to complete. The effectiveness of the treatment was compared through the entry and exit examination data from the first and last week of the interven- tion. Results: At the end of the six-week program using proprioceptive training with visual feedback on the Hunova...

Novotný, Petr ; Malá, Michaela (advisor) ; Prokešová, Eva (referee)
Title: First Aid during Mass Casualty Incident on the Railway Objectives: The main aim of this work was to assess the first aid knowledge of railway carrier employees working as passenger train crew in relation to mass casualty incidents on the railway. Another aim was to find out how many mass casualty incidents occurred on the regional and the national railway between 2010 and 2020 in the Czech Republic. Methods: In order to assess the first aid knowledge, a quantitative method of anonymous questionnaire with 90 respondents was used. The number of mass casualty incidents was found by a statistical analysis of raw data of railway accidents provided by The Rail Safety Inspection Office. These data were processed by MS Excel 2010 software. In order to test the stated hypotheses, the Student's t-test for Two Independent Samples was used. Results: It was found out that four respondents (4.4 %) of the study had encountered a mass casualty incident at work and provided first aid during that event. The questionnaire and the subsequent hypotheses testing using Student's t-test revealed that the respondent's length of service, participation in health training, and the experience of authentic first aid provided during their work did not have a statistically significant impact on their level of first aid...

Maráčková, Petra ; Vařeková, Jitka (advisor) ; Malá, Michaela (referee)
Title: The rate of physical activity of people with spinal cord lesions. Objectives: The aim of the research was to verify the usability of a non-standardized questionnaire for collecting data on the level of physical activity and other selected lifestyle factors in people with spinal cord injury. Methods: Quantitative research was carried out in the field environment of Centrum Paraple. It was an observational study consisting of a pilot survey of a sample of the population of people with spinal cord injury about the level of physical activity. We used a non-standardized electronic questionnaire "LTPA-SCI" ("Leisure time physical activity for people with spinal cord injury "), created by spinal specialists of Centrum Paraple. A total of n = 66 respondents participated in the study (male n = 53; female n = 13). The sampling was random. The criteria for inclusion in the study were a minimum age limit of 18 years, a diagnosis of spinal cord lesions with complete and incomplete spinal cord damage and participation in a three-week movement program at Centrum Paraple. The data were processed using descriptive statistics in Excel program. Results: A sample of respondents to this survey shows that Centrum Paraple's clients perform more physical activity in their home environment, a total of 86%. The age...
