Title: Cold in combat sports with a focus on Muay Thai Objectives: Based on a review of the scientific literature, determine the effect of cold on markers of muscle damage (CK and LDH) and physical performance, in combat sports training, with a focus on Thai boxing. Methods: The presented study is processed in the form of systematic research. Scientific databases Scopus, PubMed, SportDISCUS and Web of Science were used to search for studies. Using appropriately chosen keywords, a search script was created that retrieved a total of 61 studies. Subsequently, an analysis of the studies searched by the script and their selection using the established criteria was carried out. A total of 9 studies were selected, which were used to fulfill the objective of the study. Results: The results of the influence of a cold environment on the level of CK in the blood have not been clearly determined. More clear results were obtained by comparing the values of the LDH level in the blood, presented by selected studies. In most studies, there was a reduction in LDH blood levels after the intervention and none of them had negative effects. A decrease in performance was found immediately after the intervention, with a recovery to baseline values after 24 h. Greater consistency in the performance of the CWI group than...

Title: The effect of nordic walking on the physical fitness and emotional state of a group of women over 60 years of age Objectives: This thesis aimed to verify whether the given exercise program based on Nordic walking (NW) will affect the functional physical fitness and emotional state of a group of senior women. Methods: A total of 23 women with an average age of 68.96 years ± 2.92 participated in the research, and were divided into two groups. Eleven of them were part of the experimental group and 12 women formed the control group. The experimental group attended a 90-minute NW session once a week for 12 weeks. The Senior Fitness Test (Rikli and Jones, 2013) was used to repeatedly assess their physical fitness. The emotional state was assessed before and after the program using the Yesavage Geriatric Depression Scale. A visual analogue scale was used for assessment before and after individual lessons. Results: Upon completion of the 12-week exercise program using Nordic walking, the experimental group experienced a statistically significant improvement in all monitored parameters of the Senior Fitness Test, namely DKK strength, HKK strength, shoulder joint flexibility, dexterity, dynamic balance and aerobic fitness. 1 Abstract Title: Effect of physical exercise during pregnancy to diafragma pelvis Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to point out the influence of the appropriately chosen regular exercise during pregnancy on the state of the pelvic floor, especially after childbirth. Methods: Six selected probands, first-time mothers, aged 29-34 completed a four- month exercise plan that was specifically prepared for pregnant women. During the exercise, they communicated their feelings, and these were reported in the case reports. The pelvic floor was evaluated by an ultrasound examination after the childbirth. The ultrasound examination was performed by professional staff at the ÚPMD at 6 weeks, 6 months, and 12 months postpartum. The mothers provided me with their documentations from the individual examinations. Further, the interviews were conducted with individual probands, where anamnesis was taken using questions, and subjective feelings were ascertained not only during exercise, but also during and after the childbirth. The questions were aimed at experiences associated with the pelvic floor. Results: All probands completed the exercise program in its entirety. According to the ultrasound examinations, three mothers gave birth without any injuries in the area of pelvic floor and had no abnormal findings on the...

The other goals were to briefly summarize current knowledge about the basics of sports training, regeneration methods and methods of determining the effectiveness of regeneration procedures and to compare our results with knowledge in the professional literature. Methods: As one of the methods, we used heart rate monitoring during the training cycle. The second monitored parameter was the values of feeling states, which were recorded using scales modeled on the Borg scales of perceived intensity and pain. The parameters of the resulting sensation score are sleep quality, mental state, fatigue and leg pain. 10 active sportsmen aged 21-26 took part in the research. Results: The results of our research suggest that the Wim Hof method could be used as a regeneration procedure, especially in...
