Zaitsek von Egbell-Habsburg Officer 1824-1918

This thesis is focused on the officers and officer dynasties of the Austrian and Austro-Hungarian army. Through case studies, I examine the situation of the officer corps in the long 19th century, with reverberations up to the end of the Austro-Hungarian Empire's existence (until 1918). The title of the thesis includes the name of the Zaitsek von Egbell family, whose three generations experienced a significant social rise during the 19th century, mainly due to a combination of successful service to the emperor (in office and in the army) and a marriage strategy oriented towards noble families with a military tradition. An important factor in the military careers of two generations of the Zaitsek family was the merits of 1848 and 1866, times of social upheaval and war. In addition to the case study of the Zaitsek family, I attach two other case studies in which I examine officer families with different social backgrounds from each other. The ancient dynasty of military professionals is represented by the Ponz von Panz family. Officers from aristocratic backgrounds with a tradition of prominent positions in the military are exemplified by members of the Windischgraetz family. Living in Old Brno - architecture and urban study

This project located in Brno is focused on housing for elderly and cohousing strategy. Site is situated near the city center, in the Staré Brno district, in between of Hybešova street and Hospital of st. Anne. According to a good connection with city center by public transport and various functions for habitants, it has promising potential for creating ideals conditions for housing in the city center. Project is based on analysis and social study from last year. I've tried to get into the problematic of needs of modern people, living in the center, its problems and adavantages in context of history and sociology. My result is strategy for living, applied on Staré Brno site.

Information System Assessment and Proposal of ICT Modification

Goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the information system of MERIMAC s.r.o., truck transport company, and subsequently propose modifications that should remove found shortcomings in system currently used. In the first part this thesis deals with theoretical bases and defines concepts and information systems needed for understanding of this specific problematic. In the next part, the thesis follows up with analysis of current state of the company. At the end, the proposals for improvements and increase in effectivity of the company will be implemented.

Values education for children in primary education through programs of the Pedagogical Center of the Archbishopric of Prague

The topic of this diploma thesis is the education of children in values through programs of the Pedagogical Centre of the Archbishopric in Prague. The theoretical part deals with topics common to life in our society and at the same time closely related to Christianity, several development theories, characteristics of child in primary school, analysis of Framework Educational Program from a value point of view, a brief introduction to the issue of ethical and religious education in our society and presentation of Pedagogical Centre. The main goal of empirical part is to find out and describe how the Pedagogical Centre strives to educate the children in primary school about values. I used the following research tools to achieve the mentioned goal: content analysis of Pedagogical Centre program annotations focused on primary school, interview with the founder of the Pedagogical Centre and content analysis of interviews with eight teachers who visited the programs with their class. Based on the empirical part, it was found that Pedagogical Centre has a very broad scope of its activities, namely in wide scope of topics, choice of methods and materials and mainly in the quantity and depth of values contained in the programs. Goal of this master‘s thesis is to analyse the necessities of the company that provides agricultural services as supply and delivery of biomass, and subsequently propose the most suitable system. The first part od thesis defines heoretical bases and concepts of information systms, that are needed for understanding of this specific promlematic. This master’s thesis follows up in the next part with analysis of current state of the company as well as analysis of needs. In the last part of thesis will be selected the best of proposals and will be introduces possibilities of implementation of selected solution.

The main goal of this work is to create an application that checks technical reports and marks all the found errors with PDF annotations. The technical documentation of this thesis breaks down the structure of a PDF file, commonly found mistakes in graduate theses, web development using the Django framework and discusses existing libraries for editing PDF documents. The resulting application is implemented in Python and is accessible as a web tool with the help of the Django framework. The developed solution recognizes six mostly typographical errors frequently found in graduate theses. The mistakes found are visually marked and the edited PDF file is then displayed directly on the web page. The resulting tool is freely available and helps students and supervisors to correct the technical reports the students create.

Readiness of Selected Companies for Industry 4.0

The Diploma thesis is based on the analysis of four companies on the topic of implementation of Industry 4.0. The aim of this work is to study a current situation of the industry 4.0, to compare it with the literary theory and the to analyse it in each of the companies. It is crucial to explore the existing elements of the industry 4.0, attitudes and values that management acquires on these topics. These topics are analysed through research investigation, interviews, and observation in these companies. Subsequent research is a questionnaire survey. The analysis of the implementation of Industry 4.0 illustrates progress and necessary steps to remain competitive in the market. In companies there are detected some interesting points in progress or some defects of implementation.

The Analysis of the Organizational Culture in a Company

The Bachelor thesis is based on the analysis of organizational culture in Löttco company, which is an engineering business. The aim of this work is to study a current situation of the organizational culture, to compare it with the literary theory and then to analyse it in the business. It is necessary to examine the existing working environment, values, standards and the rules through the interview process with the management and current employees. A subsequent research is a questionnaire survey, which forms the basis for quantitative evaluation of the organizational culture. The analysis of the organizational culture illustrates how important part of company it is, how it influences the pace of work and the long-term sustainability of the business in the market. In the company there were detected some defects of the culture, the possibilities of changes were suggested for rising a healthy working environment.
