The Influence of the European Union on Non-Member States of Europe
LINHART, Tomáš
The thesis entitled "The Influence of the European Union on Non-Member States of Europe" deals with the mutual relations of this institution with selected non-member states of Europe, more precisely the Republic of Serbia, the Kingdom of Norway and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The text defines the European Union's foreign policies and identifies its political-legal dynamics and interconnections with its preferred European states. The thesis aims to establish the economic-economic and environmental relations between the players. Another ambition of the thesis is to list the current bilateral relations, foreign, security and defence policies and to describe the mutual influence of the legislative framework in the respective areas. The thesis introduces the EU cooperation with non-member states, or rather describes the existing ties in many areas, and presents the circumstances of the rejection of the Kingdom of Norway's membership in this structure, the rationale of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland's withdrawal and abandonment from the multi-year membership, and on the contrary, the interests of the Republic of Serbia to become an equal member and partner of the European Union, following the example of other member states. In addition to the necessary historical insight into the integration development of the European Union, an essential part of the thesis is the justification of the continued or newly created non-membership of selected European states in the EU. However, there are numerous collaborations between the community and individual states, and it is these collaborations that the thesis text focuses on. The thesis assesses not only the relations and the reasons and benefits of being or not being a member of the European Union but is a comprehensive text for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, the Common Security and Defence Policy, Foreign Policy and the European Neighbourhood Policy.

The Foreign Activities of the European Union
LINHART, Tomáš
The bachelor's thesis entitled "Foreign Activities of the European Union" deals with processes and internal affairs and their subsequent impact on setting priorities in concluding bilateral and multilateral agreements on the international level. The work defines the integration development, starting with the Coal and Steel Treaty, the Treaties of Rome, the Schengen Agreement, the Single European Act, the creation of the European Union, the Maastricht Treaty, the Treaty of Amsterdam and the Reform Treaty of Lisbon. The thesis defines necessary key institutions of the Union and determines the coordinated activities that independent institutions have towards non-member countries or international organizations, or fundamentally participate in the future direction of the European Union's international activities. The bachelor's thesis presents the procedures of foreign trade negotiations, then the development and activities of the Common Foreign and Defence Policy of the European Union and the European External Action Service and the publication of foreign instruments of the EU. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to find out and determine which politics and internal affairs of third countries are primarily influenced by the foreign activities of the European Union. On the basis of bilateral and multilateral agreements concluded between or among the European Union and other states or international groupings, the work defines examples in practice where changes in internal affairs are visible in certain areas, such as changes in the legislative framework, which were the result of the subject enforced by European Union. The bachelor thesis specifically assesses taxes, transport, energy, economic affairs, humanitarian aid and civil protection, human rights, regional affairs, justice and home affairs, space affairs, education and culture, employment and social affairs, environment and climate change, and lastly agriculture and food safety. The influence of the European Union on individual sub-activities of non-member states is defined into three groups. Most affected, average affected and least affected.

Linhart, T: The borderline and the relationship to its surroundings. [Diploma thesis] Praha 2015 Charles University, Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education, 71 p. (Attachments on CD: 2 illustration attachments). The diploma thesis features a theoretical study on the background of the author's own artwork. Author seeks to define the boundary of fine arts and art education to establish a foundation to his own pedagogic determination. He shows what theoretical frameworks take part on shaping his own professional direction. The didactic part looks at select situations from the author's teaching practice that already took place and reflects them in context of author's other pedagogic experience. This thesis deals with the transformation of the american-vietnamese relations after the Vietnam War. The work monitors the situation prior to the official establishment of diplomatic relations, analyses the international context essential for those changes. After the war, Vietnam was techically isolated for 20 years and for a long time suffered by both the social and economic ramifications of the conflict.
