Progress in autoevaluation of pupils in 2nd and 3rd level of different kind of shools (determination of autoevaluation) - qualitative study

V dnešní době, kdy společenský vývoj probíhá hekticky, dochází k tomu, že mladí lidé se mnohdy brání stát se součástí světa dospělých. Je to pravděpodobně dáno faktem, že v současnosti je život dospělého člověka náročnější a složitější, než tomu bývalo dříve. Prostředí sociálně vyspělé společnosti mnohdy poskytuje nepříznivé podmínky pro vývoj mladých lidí - mimo jiné také proto, že se v dnešním světě mění postoj ke vzdělání. Vzdělání se v mnoha případech eliminuje na prostředek k získání ekonomicky lukrativnějšího zaměstnání, stává se pojistkou ke vstupu do tzv. "vyšší společnosti". A ačkoli se mladí lidé na jedné straně brání přijímat názory předchozích generací, na straně druhé však mnohé z těchto názorů od nich nevědomky přijímají. A to včetně některých negativních momentů v hodnotových orientacích, ve způsobu života i k výše zmíněnému přístupu ke vzdělání. Společnost slouží mladému člověku kromě jiného také jako sociální zrcadlo. Mladý jedinec se snaží být svým okolím akceptován, zejména jedná-li se o prostředí vrstevnické, neboť mu to přináší uspokojení, jistotu, kladné hodnocení, na jehož podkladě buduje své sebehodnocení, jež bývá v tomto věku často narušeno změnami dospívání a četnými konflikty.

Motivational function of educational evaluation

This thesis is focusing on school evaluation from the point of view of its specifics and functionality in regard to its motivation purpose. The findings regarding evaluation are shown in an independent chapter showing the positive and negative aspects of forms of assessment in practical application. Following chapter dealing with motivation describes needs in relation to school activities as well as brief explanation of causal attribution. More attention is paid to the achievement motivation, especially to characteristics of needs for achievement in relation to pupils' responses to mental stress in task situations. There are briefly mentioned some of the newer motivational theories and their application in school showing the possible modification of outer motivation to autonomy. Widely processed are methods and aspects of evaluation that support motivation and provide pupils with examples for self- assessment. Qualitative research is focused on assessment processes leading to positive motivation. Concluding proposition summarizes several recommendations for teacher in the role of evaluator. Højskole and their specifics in the Danish educational system

This Thesis provides a short analysis of theory, history, and practice of the so-called folkehjskole (folk high schools) that represents a Danish contribution to pedagogy with worldwide importance. Those schools resulted from the social and cultural climate in Denmark as well as from the intellectual creativity of the churchman, philosopher, historian, member of parliament, and bard N.F.S. Grundtvig as well as of the pedagogue and organizer Ch. Kold. The first one was founded in 1844 in Rdding, North Schleswig. The political situation after the war between Prussia and Denmark and the need to improve the education and competence of rural youth to develop their farms provided an impetus for those schools as well. Those free schools were run on new principles, independently from the state school system, and influenced very positively the development and democratization of Danish society. After some time elapsed, similar schools were founded in the whole Scandinavia, to lesser extent in other European countries, in some Scandinavian and other communities in the USA, during the recent years in some developing countries. The influence of self-evaluation of the pupil with specific disorders of learning regarding the profession choice

Cílem diplomové práce je rozkrýt úroveň sebehodnocení, které vnímáme jako hodnocení sama sebe, vztah k sobě samému a součást sebepojetí. Konkrétně se v práci zaměřujeme na sebehodnocení žáků ve vztahu k výkonu v základní škole. Sebehodnocení považujeme za jeden ze základních prvků, které najdeme jen u lidské bytosti. Jedná se o specifický konstrukt, jenž je vlastní pouze člověku. Dále se v této práci zajímáme o žáka se specifickými poruchami učení (SPU). Zohledňujeme, v jaké instituci žáka se SPU chceme pozorovat, zda to bude žák individuálně integrovaný do běžné základní školy, či žák v běžné základní škole, ale ve speciální třídě, anebo to bude žák ze speciální školy. Nakonec jsme do výzkumného souboru vybrali žáky se SPU ze speciální Základní školy Integrál.

Integral education at primary school

Práce se zabývá problémem integrovaného vyučování v české primární škole, speciální důraz je položen na řešení možnosti další integrace vlastivědného učiva, na tuto teoretickou část navazuje zpracování návrhu projektu, který na základě respektování interdisciplinarity integruje učivo o domově, o rodném místě. Praktická část, tedy samotný vlastivědný projekt, se sestává z pracovních listů pro žáky 4. - S.ročníku zš a z teoreticko - metodických rádců pro učitele (včetně jednoho pedagogicko - filozofického okénka). Pracovní listy pro žáky jsou v práci barevně odlišeny.

Specific reading domain metacognitive strategies of the 5th grade elementary school students

This dissertation focuses on identification of metacognitive development levels among students in their year 5 in either (a) mainstream elementary schools, (b) elementary schools implementing Dalton education elements in their curriculum or (c) elementary schools implementing RWCT program in their daily activities. The main goal of the empirical study is to verify or disprove the thesis which states that the type of educational programme can influence the metacognitive development of a child in a specific reading domain. That is why author of this text examines the level of (a) the regulation aspect and (b) knowledge aspect of metacognition at research sample of 1103 students from different types of primary schools. The results of this study verify the hypothesis that the type of education program has direct influence on metacognitive development of a student: (a) students of RWCT elementary can better judge the relative effectivity of suggested strategies based on the task situation (metacognitive knowledge) and together with student from Dalton plan elementary schools they are able to (b) recognize false answers from correct ones and are also (c) more accurate in their error approximations of answers related to reading comprehension (metacognitive regulation). The role of selected molecules in biologic behaviour of human breast cancer Abstract Ondřej Gojiš In human breast cancer the rate of immunohistochemical discordance between primary tumour and secondary deposits were reported to range from 28% - 42% for ER and was 17% for PgR. Depending on the study and techniques utilized, discordance rates of Her2 ranged between 0% - 37%. It has been showed that PAX2 competes with SRC-3 for binding and regulation of HER-2 transcription. Human breast cancers that were PAX2 positive and SRC-3 negative had the lowest recurrence rate, and the relationship between PAX2 and SRC-3, with regard to levels that determine relapses, were found to be inversely dependent. This suggests a transcriptional link between the two subtypes of breast cancer, namely ER positive and HER2 positive tumors. Immunohistochemical profiles were performed for 30 metastatic deposits using antigens for SRC3, Pax2, ER, PgR, Her2, CK5/6, Ki67 and EGFR. SRC-3 was positive in 66.6% of cases and Pax2 in 73.3%. No correlation was observed between the patient's age, cancer grade, histotype, lymphatic node status, and protein expression.
