Fusion of Procedural and Keyframe Animation

The goal of this work is to create an application, which will combine procedural and keyfram animations with subsequent visualization. Composition of this two different animations techniques is used to animate a virtual character. To combine this two techniques one starts with interpolations from keyframe animation and then enchance them by procedural animations to properly fit into the characters surroundings. This procedural part of animation is obtained by using forward and inverse kinematics. Whole application is written in C++, uses GLM math library for computations and OpenGL and GLUT for final visualization.

Procedural Animation of Human Walk

This thesis describes the implementation of the program displaying procedural animation of human walk. This program uses the so-called skeletal animation, in which a virtual skeleton is being moved by a forward and inverse kinematics, and subsequently the vertexes of the 3D model of a human are transformed in accordance to the skeleton. Setting of the weight of the bones for individual vertexes is done via the envelope method, the model is loaded from the "ASE" format. The application is written in the C++ programming language and for the visualization the OpenGL library with the GLUT expansion is used.

The "völkische Weltanschauung" of the German Gymnastic Unions and the Strategies of its Propagation

In the Austrian-Hungarian, ethnically German gymnastic unions of "Deutscher Turnerbund" and "Turnkreis Deutsch-Österreich", between the late 1880s and 1918 there was an officially propagandized set of racial, nationalistic and religiously-ethical opinions known in the German literature as the "völkische Weltanschauung". This propaganda was also seen after the World War I in the Austrian union of "Deutscher Turnerbund 1919", in the union of "Deutscher Turnverband" which used to exist in the Czechoslovakia and in some segments of the German union of "Deutsche Turnerschaft". Using the newest search results, archival sources and until now predominantly ignored literature (e.g. unions periodicals, educational booklets and novels), this dissertation applies the analytic-synthetic and comparatively orientated method to answer the questions, which ideas the "völkische Weltanschauung" was consisted of, who formulated them and how they have been developed over time. Special attention is payed to the principles and effectiveness of the educational institutions (the so- called institution of the "Dietwarte"), fiction literature, periodicals and festivities in the process of the indoctrination of the young and old gymnasts. Formation, transformation and influence of Roman Catholic parish in Bosaca valley

In the presented licenciate work, we dedicate to the activity of Roman Catholic Church in Bošáca valley situated in Trenčín region. The likelihood of the influence of the Church on the development of the mentioned region is determinated by the existence of parishes, which is in this case originally corroborated since 13th century, when the parish in Halizuce was established, and also the residence of the parish priest and the parish temple was located here until 18th century. Until this day, there are ruins of the fortified Gothic temple in Haluzice, which is dedicated to All the Saints. In 1778, the residence of the parish was transferred to village Bošáca, where a new church was built in 1733, with the patrocinium of Assumption of Virgin Mary. Today, Bošáca parish consists of Bošáca parish and its subsidiaries in Trenčianske Bohuslavice, Haluzice, Zemianske Podhradie, New Bošáca and Štvrtok. The purpose of our work was the heuristics, analysis and interpretation of the preserved archive documents originating from the activities of the parishes, subsidiaries, its Superiors, as well as mapping of available information on sacral buildings in the territory of the whole parish. The Reception of Friedrich Ludwig Jahn and his Ideas in the German Gymnastic Club

The goal of this paper is to analyse the evolution of the perception of the German gymnastic movement founder Friedrich Ludwig Jahn (1778-1852) and of his ideology in the German Gymnastic Club. Since the eighties of the 19th century, the Jahn's ideas had been specifically interpreted in the gymnastic clubs in Lower Austria. This interpretation, under the direct influence of growing racial anti-Semitism, consisted of an extreme national and racial intolerance. The clubs, since 1889 associated in German Gymnastic Club, gradually made their way to the radically national movement that gained the epithet of "völkisch". Various methods have been applied to determine how the club adopted, interpreted and in its own way also changed the Jahn's teaching in the field of the language, physical exercise, national and anti-Semitic ideology and, last but not least, in terms of festivities and symbology. The result of the study has shown that the "völkisch" interpretation of Jahn's controversial ideas enabled the Club to lay the foundations for the new ideology which was to become dominant in the gymnastic movement of the German speaking countries in the thirties of the 20th century.

Friedrich Ludwig Jahn and his activity between the years 1806-1816

In Germany, Friedrich Ludwig Jahn is said to have been a national hero and as a founder of the Turnverein organization he is usually called "Father of gymnastic". His glorification goes sometimes so far that his acts are hardly to believe. On the other hand, the Czech historiography did not pay enough attention to him, although there are some connections between him and the Czech society (great influence on the Czech sport movement "Sokol", a great deal of his monuments in the former Sudentenland-country). According to these two initial facts, the aim of this paper is: Firstly, to introduce this person to the Czech readers. Secondly, to point out the development of stereotype formed in the biographies. Such a definition of my topic was too large to cope with in one and a half years, thus I concentrated primarily only on ten years of his life when his activity became extremely intensive. As far as the structure is concerned, there are applied some untraditional methods in dividing the whole text not chronologically, but thematically after Jahn's fields of activity.
