Chapter 3 Summary - shrnutí English and Czech summaries (abstracts) of the thesis. 3.1 English abstract Genus Taraxacum (Asteraceae), having ∼60 sections and 2,800 species, is known for its complicated evolutionary relationships and taxonomy due to processes like frequent hy- bridization, polyploidization, asexual reproduction, clonality and low structural morpho- logical variability. Various taxonomical concepts and approaches are reviewed, evaluated and discussed from point of view of their ability to deal with such a complicated genera as is Taraxacum. Various processes responsible for the complicated situation within Taraxacum are discussed and reviewed. Section Dioszegia, comprising T. serotinum and its allies, are an exception because only sexuals are reported for all the members of this group. On the basis of the analysis of mi- crosatellite (SSRs) variation, distribution and morphology, we addressed problems related to their mode of reproduction, among-population relationships, taxonomy and within- population variation. As a rule, outcrossing was the dominant mode of reproduction, with one notable exception: T. serotinum subsp. tomentosum (≡ T. pyrrhopappum) was autogamous and not heterozygous. ThesisSpacefin.txt Diploma thesis - Contemporary Protestant Liturgical space Jan Kirschner Resume The changes in Protestant liturgical space and its contribution to the ecumenical dialogue is the main interest in this survey and master thesis. The most important streams and tendencies of contemporary development and historical consequences of the sacral and liturgical environment of the Protestant Church of Czech Brethren are evaluated in the broader context. In the first part of this thesis were discussed the historical and theological development of Protestant /Christian/ liturgical space. Two excursions of this study were to evaluate the liturgical movement during the twentieth century and the Protestant reflection of the Sacrosanctum Concilium, the Constitution of the Sacred liturgy of the Second Vatican Council. The theoretical part was summarized and reflected in the chapter evaluating a sacral space, liturgical symbols, art and mystics in Protestantism. In the second more practical were compared various opinions of theologians regarding the liturgical space and representative samples of the Protestant liturgical environment. Methodology for the rescue and revitalization of introduced woody plants in monuments of garden art

The methodology was disigned with the aim to develop a complex tool for the identification of priority individuals of woody plants for their rescue and revitalization. Furthermore, a sequence of measures to that end is given. As a result, gardeners have a method how to identify priority plants and priority measures for the rescue of valuable individuals in monuments of garden art; thus, viewpoints of garden architects, dendrologists and arborists are integrated.

Methods to register living collections in monuments of garden art

This methodical tool is designed to register and catalogue woody plants in living collections that are integrated in monuments of garden art. The tool, with the aid of descriptive and evaluating criteria and within the framework of architectural composition and vegetation elements of the monument, aloows to develop a spatially explicit registry organized in a database in the GIS environment.

Izolované populace rostlin a jejich vztahy se zdrojovými populacemi v evropských souvislostech: Příklady ohrožených a chráněných druhů‚ Gentiana verna (hořec jarní) a Jurinea cyanoides (sinokvět chrpovitý)

Cílem projektu je detailně vyhodnotit genetickou proměnlivost populací Gentiana verna v ČR ve vztahu k možným zdrojovým populacím a migračním cestám, kontrolovat genotypy kultivované ex situ. Zhodnotit genetickou proměnlivost izolovaných středoevropských populací Jurinea cyanoides, srovnat ji se situací v oblasti kontinuálního areálu, objasnit klíčová stadia reprodukce druhu a popsat mezidruhové interakce ovlivňující vitalitu populací (zvláště opylování a predaci plodů) a vyhodnocením stanovištních podmínek zvýšit pravděpodobnost úspěšné repatriace druhu na původních a náhradních lokalitách.
