Test hardness and application on the conditions of engineering company.
Černohousová, Pavla ; Madaj, Martin (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is in the first part theoretical part clearly describe the development, types and basic principles of hardness tests. The practical part consists of some of these tests applied to the collected samples. The results are then processed and evaluated.
On the effect of tempering and storage conditions of rubber parts on final joint cohesion
Jílková, Ingrid ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with an analysis of waxing phases occurrence on the surface of the technical rubber which is used in the automotive industry. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with a composition and manufacturing of the rubber. It is focused on the composition of rubber compounds and waxes. It explains technical properties, reasons (advantages) of the ingredients in the rubber components. Next, it also clarifies the substance of the wax and its use in relation to rubbers. The theoretical part also clarifies the storage of rubber parts and why is it desirable to identify the wax which is separated on free surfaces of rubber. The practical part deals with a suggestion of the identification methods for the waxes on the surface of rubber. It also presents the comparison of the possibilities of the methods used for the identification of wax and its evaluation.
Problems of the mirror shutter in the LED module of the headlight
Ettler, Jan ; Hlaváček, Martin (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with methods of attaching the mirror shutter in LED modules in headlamps. The aim is to compare three methods of attachment which are used in one of the platform variants. The following are the methods of attachment, followed by the description of the light sources and functions of the LED modules; they are: riveting, hot stamping and fixation with clips. Risk associated with the assembly of mirror shutter into the light source are analysed via FMEA analysis, including also measures and actions for risk reduction – implementation of lighting of produced light sources in a special jig in the light laboratory. Vibrations tests were carried out to find out the influence of vibration on the mirror shutter in LED modules in the traffic. The tests revealed that even if the clip is incorrectly fixed (not attached to the end position) it does not affect the functionality of the module.
Technological Design for a Motorcycle Brake
Smílek, Lukáš ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of technological components for drum brake motorcycle. The introduction deals with the history of development of braking systems and their basic distribution. The documentation includes technological production process, the building of NC program in 3D design software and technical-economic evaluation.
Trends of development LASER technology
Zlesák, Jakub ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The basic acquaintance with laser technology principles. The consideration and evaluation of this technology present state in engineering. The possibilities of applying new knowledge and discoveries in this field for using in engineering. The estimation of laser technology development within further 5 years and consideration of this technology economical demands.
Grinding of Bearing Rings
Růžička, Daniel ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The main objective of this work is to evaluate the surface quality, machined on three different grinders (all three from different age), and to compare those grinders. Comparison is done by the achieved degree of precision of measured geometric tolerances in inner orbits of the outer bearing rings. As the best grinder is expressly marked the newest (type CNC) however, the second in a row (the second youngest) is very close to its quality and finally it is noted that the purchase and operation of this grinder is more convenient.
Formed and Machined Threads on Products from Sheet Metal in Company European Data Project s.r.o.
Hořava, Lukáš ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The object of the bachelor thesis is the method of chip and non-chip production of threads determined for mainly metal products. The first part is focused on the products which have been producing by company EDP, s.r.o. Further, the individual thread types, the most common methods of their production and the methods used in the company are mentioned. In the following experimental part, the production of samples with shaped threads and machined threads are described. The attention is also dedicated to the adventiges, and disadventiges of the methods used by the company, as well as the economic appreciation. The conclusion is made of proposal of the thermal drilling and its evaluation.
Manufacturing of Gearwheels Using Various Technologies
Řezáč, Matěj ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The present bachelor thesis is focused on the production of spur gears. The theoretical part summarizes the information related to toothing, its production and inspection. In the practical part, three technologies of spur gear manufacture are selected the gears are made. Finally the thesis compares the spur gears produced by these technologies geometrically and dimensionally
Solution to the mechanism of a screw jack
Blecha, Jan ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The presented bachelor thesis deals with the mechanism of the screw jack in terms of basic design calculations as well as in terms of production technology. The following part deals with basic division of the workshop lifting equipment, the design of the lifting device and, last but not least, the design of the production technology. Further attention is paid to the technical and economic view of the manufacturing process of the screw jack mechanism and the possibility of improving both the production process and the construction itself.
Production Gear on a Universal Machines
Hulvej, Matúš ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis presents a design of a technical project: gear production using universal machines. It focuses on the analysis of a component, the selection of materials, machines and tools, and the creation of a manufacturing drawing and technological process of the production. It is concluded by a technical-economic evaluation.
