Compact Bluetooth multimetr
Kolář, Ondřej ; Kufa, Jan (referee) ; Rozum, Stanislav (advisor)
The first part of bachelor's thesis Compact Bluetooth multimeter discusses Bluetooth Low Energy technology. It describes individual layers and protocols of its communication chain. There are also described some of the electronic ciruits and methods used for measuring in electronics. The second part of the bachelor's thesis describes practical design and implementation procedures of the compact multimeter which communicates with a smartphone application via Bluetooth Low Energy.
Proportional counter measurement system
Kolář, Ondřej ; Matěj, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This work focuses on development of a measurment system for proportional counters that are used to measure ionizing radiation. The system allows for data acquisition from proportional counters in form of time waveforms for further analysis. Core of the system is a Red Pitaya STEMlab 125-14 board which is able to record fast signals and transfer them to a computer for further processing. The first part of this work briefly describes theory of ionizing radiation and propotional counters. In the following part the measuring unit and its improvements are described. The main part of this work is focused on development of new software and description of individual software pieces. In the last part a real measurement is depicted, gathered data are analyzed and a machine learning method is proposed as a solution for proportional counters data analysis.
Advancements in the development of a proportional counter measuring system
Kolář, Ondřej ; Kubíček, Michal
This paper is an interim report of theory and continuouswork on the proportional counter measuring system. Thefirst part of the article covers general principles and propertiesof several types of electronic detectors for measuring the ionizingradiation fields including the proportional counters, to highlighttheir positives and negatives. The following part discusses theprocessing of proportional counter output signal. Next, theconducted measurement of a neutron source is described, and itsresults are shown. Based on the gained experience, the simulationand design of a new preamplifier for the measuring system wascarried out.
A cryptographic module for hardware-constrained device
Kolář, Ondřej ; Cíbik, Peter (referee) ; Smékal, David (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the description and implementation of the AES-128 cipher using the VHDL language. It discusses the fundamentals of encryption, FPGA architecture, and VHDL. It compares FPGA and ASIC chips. Furthermore, it describes the principles of encryption and decryption of the AES-128 cipher and analyzes its individual blocks in the process and the peripherals used for user interaction. The practical part describes the actual design creation and verifies its functionality. The aim of the thesis is to describe the AES-128 cipher and verify the functionality of the design through simulation, as well as to activate and ensure the functionality and coherence of the individual peripherals
Plea bargaining
Kolář, Ondřej ; Mulák, Jiří (advisor) ; Pelc, Vladimír (referee)
Plea bargaining Abstract This thesis deals with plea bargain in Czech legal system. Primary goal of this thesis is to analyse plea bargain in the Czech Republic de lege lata and to evaluate potential possibilities de lege ferenda. This thesis examines current problems of plea bargain as a legal instrument and it also evaluates in detail practical application of plea bargaining in Czech criminal procedure. Particural attention is dedicated to Act no. 333/2020 Coll., which significantly widened the use of plea bargain to felonies, abolished compulsory defence and also established possibility of negotiation plea bargain in court hearing. Act no. 333/2020 Coll., also implemented entirely new legal instrument called Declaration of guilt, which is closely related to the plea bargain. Secondary goal of this thesis can be seen in analysis of European Court's of Human Rights judicature related to the issues of right to due process regarding plea bargain. This thesis consists of five chapters, which divide more minutely further. The first chapter defines the term "diversion" since significant part of professional public considers plea bargain a diversion. History of plea bargaining is described in the second chapter and also technical classification of plea bargain is examined in detail. The third chapter consists of...

Default of time in business transactions and its consequences
Kolář, Ondřej ; Patěk, Daniel (advisor) ; Oehm, Jaroslav (referee)
Delay in commercial commitments and its consequences The purpose of the thesis is to describe all the aspects of delay in commercial commitments in the law system of the Czech Republic with focus on the consequences a delay may cause. Even though the history of the respective legislation is long and uninterrupted (it basically dates back to the Austrian General Civil Code from 1811), certain cases of indistinct interpretation in every-day use of the rules may still arise and that is the reason for elaborating the research. Legislation, expert interpretation of the legislation, papers from professional journals and a number of judicatures, mostly decisions of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic, are used to thoroughly analyse the topic. The Czech Commercial Code recognises two general kinds of delay - debtor's delay, which occurs if the debtor does not fulfil their (usually contractual) duties in time and/or properly and creditor's delay, that is initiated by the creditor if they do not accept proper fulfilment from the debtor and that supersedes the debtor's delay, if it may be in place. In case of the debtor's delay the law automatically guarantees the creditor several rights. They have the right to insist on the proper fulfilment to be delivered or they are entitled to cancel the contract, if...
