Analysis of stigmatisation against LGBTQ+ people: a reflection of reactions regarding the murder at Zámocká

This bachelor thesis entitled Analysis of stigmatization against LGBTQ+ people: a reflection of reactions regarding the murder at Zámocká explores the area of stigmatization in the context of social psychology and developmental psychology. The thesis draws on authors such as Henri Tajfel, Gordon W. Allport, Erving Goffman, and Mark A. Yarhouse, all of whom discuss concepts closely related to the process of stigmatization. The thesis further examines the sociological perspective on minorities as social groups, the perspective of social psychology on processes occurring in intergroup relationships and interactions between the majority and minority society, as well as the process of identity development and acquisition in individuals (members of marginalized minorities) in the context of the negative consequences of stigmatization. Additionally, the thesis emphasizes the reflection of theoretical knowledge through qualitative content analysis of sources related to the terrorist act on Zámocká Street, including selected media and statements from public representatives in Slovakia, with the goal of demonstrating the connection between the theoretical analysis of stigmatization and the processes taking place in Slovak society. Social integration of Ukrainian pupils at schools and social life in the Ctech Republic

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to map the issue of social inclusion of Ukrainian pupils into primary schools and life in the Czech Republic. The thesis includes a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the issue of inclusion of Ukrainian pupils is set in a broader context, i.e. basic concepts and applicable legislation are defined here. It also analyses the causes of consequences of the social disadvantage of Ukrainian pupils which are rooted in the status of their families in the Czech Republic. The attitude of schools and the school system towards this issue is analysed, too. The content of the practical part is a case study. The cases of three Ukrainian pupils and their two families are used to outline the main problems of inclusion of these pupils and families, including methods, procedures and support measures in this difficult and long-term process. Hikikomori - social isolation in teenage

Main interest of my thesis is to describe the hikikomori phenomenon within its complex contexts which will reflect the development, course and experience of voluntary social isolation in its extreme. According to the needs of an isolated individual, I will describe the relationship of the phenomenon to social work. With regard to its specifics, My aim is to evaluate social services and methods which could be suitable for cooperation with hikikomori. My bachelor's thesis is divided into several chapters that are gradually describing aspects related to the subjective need to isolate oneself from society. First part of my work will be focused on a general description of the phenomenon and its expansion nowadays. In the second part of the thesis, I will deal with the interpretation of japanese cultural identity and the functioning of japanese society. Next chapter will be focused on the knowledge of modern developmental psychology, describing utmost differences, specific features and the hikikomori lifestyle in general. My focus will also tend to describe possible connection to education and the accent on personal performance, that is typical for modern era. Social work with mothers using illegal drugs

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of drug addiction - both on a general level and for the addicted mothers with children specifically. In the introduction is presented the basic framework of drug addiction, how addiction can be defined and also recognized. Then, for the overall context of the topic, I present how the drug problem is approached at the international level and within the Czech Republic, including regulation of drugs use in the Czech legislation. In the context of prevention, I describe ways, in which this problem can be prevented. The next part of the thesis deals with the issue of drug addiction among women. Here I introduce the factors, leading to the development of addiction, what other problems may be associated with drugs use, what makes the addiction in the case of women specific, and then I move on to the effects of the mother's drugs use on the child, mentioning the rights of the child, who finds itself in a such situation and how it can be protected from the problems, caused by it's mother. In the last chapter, I describe social work with drugs users, what specific social services these people can use, and finally I deal with social support and reintegration for mothers, struggling with having drugs problem. Integration of socially excluded people in the "Nový prostor"project

Thesis Integration of the Socially Excluded in the New Space project deals with the possibilities and ways of help to people in a difficult social situation through involvement in the street paper sale with another support of social services. The theoretical part defines the concepts of social exclusion and homelessness as its most difficult form, social business or human, social and cultural capital. The practical part focuses on social business of the New Space, the characteristics of their clients. An empirical research part is included, with examination about the impact of the support of New Space clients in their-own point of view and the degree of their reintegration into society. Dying at home: The possibilities of hospice care at home and its importance for the patients and their families

The diploma thesis is concered with the provission of domestic hospice care and its effect on patient and their family. The theoretical part decribes the basic concepts conected with the provision of domestic hospice care. It biefly describes the history, the emergence of the development and growth of domestic hospice care in the Czech republic. Its describes the organisation of the services provided, their legal basic, related services and also their limitations. The main concern of the work is describe the access to the patient in home care in the context of three levels of home care provided: the provission of social and medical services and spiritual support. The provision of domestic home care, its effect and influence both on the family as a whole and patient their is an aditional purpose of the work wich is desribed in the practical part of the thesis. This part concentrates mainly on an analysis of the principal and component parts in the context of the needs of seriously ill patient and their desire of longing to be at home with their family. The impact of social disadvantaged family on children school education

The bachelor thesis entitled The influence of socially disadvantaged family background for education of children focuses on the possibilities and access of these children to education. One of the most important factors in this area is the family, where the child was born and its attitude to education. There are specified parental duties, which according the law, are connected to education and also the importance of pre-school education. The thesis also deals with other factors, which influence the issue, such as economical situation of family, lack of quality accommodation or cultural, language or ethnical differences. The casuistries in the empirical part describe the chosen problems.

The subject of the graduation thesis is a success in life seen through the eyes of a social field worker. The theoretical part explains terms such as value and motivation. It brings information obtained from the literature about the values of the contemporary Czech society and contemplates about its development. It also includes a short presentation of the individual results of the specific student works. It tries to use the words to describe success, success in life, to summarize the factors influencing the success in life. Medical sociology - medicalization of society

The bachelor thesis deals with the theme of medical sociology, especially with the concept of medicalization of society. The first part focuses on the historical development of the medical sociology and describes three main theoretical bases: the functionalist approach, political economy paradigm and social constructivism perspective. Further it describes the theory of medicalization, which appeared in the medical sociology in the late 1960s. Medicalization is defined as the process when originally nonmedical problems are classified and treated as medical ones. This phenomenom is specified in the section dealing with the medicalization of women's health.
